Breeze is 5*. Honeyberry grind alone is already enough. Even the new 5* has little use.
That's the biggest reason few peeps use Breeze. Second is that Perfumer exists. Third is Ofc, she has nothing unique to her.

Quick tip in case you did'nt know: buying pots for red cert 5* is counts as getting an operator, so for all purchases after the first one you also get 5 gold serts which might come in handy when you missing just a few for more pulls or buying operator you want. You can get total of 78 gold certs that way, but yeah, the cost is 10800 red certs so it's only a good option if you mostly done with farming everything else you need
My max pot Honeyberry eat all me newbie certs and spare sanity.
Now I won't get anything else except mat for E2.

changing her talent to apply resist to all operators within range during skill activation would break her out of useless talent jail
and then giving her a mechanic similar to leizi’s module where every operator healed grants Breeze 1 sp
honestly this sounds like a massive buff but considering how all the other aoe medics are just *that* good, I think this would be a nice change for Breeze
tldr: turns her into a very good aoe medic for high intensity stages where both burst aoe healing and resist is needed frequently

I do also think that Breeze got done dirty when purestream's module arrived. Now we have a 4* that can heal everyone in range on command to full and apply status resistance for 5 seconda whilst keeping a low cooldown on the skill.

Healers in arknights are unique in that none of them are truly awful. Evem 3* Ansel does his job and heals fairly effectively. Higher * medics just get better perks in addition to healing, like Silence and Perfumer healing the whole battlefield, or creating shields, or bonus SP or whatever.

Liked this content tbh while not a fan of breeze specifically, I did enjoy this reason and experienced the same thing with ceylon(maxed Ceylon out so yeah) I really enjoyed this video analyzing unpopular operators. Wish you'd upload more of these in the future.
I actually buy all red cert ops (I don't max pot them tho). And funny story, when I first started the game, I was able to save up certs for Breeze before I ever got my first perfumer. Of course, I still haven't e2'd Breeze at this rate...I even plan to build Qanipalaat and Quartz before I get her past e1 40, but it would be nice for her to get a buff

i'm still a fairly new player, i've only been playing since ideal city on global. that said, i still don't have ptilopsis so perfumer was actually my first e2... myrtle followed shortly, then mlynar and texalt when i got them, but still, i love perfumer so much, aoe medic appreciation! plus the utility of her global heal (although i don't really run units that can't be directly healed so i don't actually get much of its primary use case)

My common pick for medic is always Nightangle/Breeze, sometime shining
Breeze is easy to forget, but you invest in niches, She is a top tier healer ( I love the spammable 1k heal )
Some advices I'm agree with Coldcallerloopy is Breeze's talent and skills, Those are not that useful it would be good if, for example, the talent applies when Breeze is deployed instead of her skill is active it will change her worth dramatically, or make the S1 to heal +1 ally at M2 (at least) and/or S2 to Shoot 2 healing blast to 2 targets would be useful too, and right now I do not know who is less useful Breeze or Tsukinogi.
Maybe you did mention it and I completely missed it, but for me, one of her biggest flaws is that S2 can (and does) make her fail at fulfilling the AoE medic role in some situations. If damage sources are spread in particular ways, she may be unable to heal enough, even though they are fully within her range and on paper she has enough HPS, just because the heal can only target one spot. I've had this happen several times, and it really drives home the point that AoE medics have multi targeting for a reason.

I don't use her but she'll always have a place in my heart cause she was my aoe healer before I finally got Ptilopsis. Her skill saved my ass multiple times
4:14 Since it's +190% ATK and not ATK being set to 190% of original, wouldn't it be the Operator being targeted being healed for 2.9× and ops around it being healed for 1.45×? It'd be kinda weird for a 50% uptime Skill (with 80 SP) on a Multi-Target Medic to heal one operator for less than twice as much and nearby ops for even less than normal.

Breeze was my 1st AOE medic/cert ops. i used her for the first 3 event or so. back then i didn't know any of recuit tags combo, it took me a long while till i got Perfumer and Breeze really help when there a stage like Defender Chips stages. but yeah, soon after i got Nightingale & Ptilopsis (even before Perfumer lol) i didn't use her anymore after that. her S2 kinda bit scary to use if she heal the wrong target at the wrong time and her talent is meh. all these time i mostly use Nightingale S3 when i need to fight the unknown map. Ptilopsis is great too but i feel safer with birdcage & Art RES.
Now that this is up breeze skin chance has gone up lol
My first 4 months playing AK Perfumer refused to join RI and I wouldn't have had an aoe healing option if it weren't for Breeze. She helped me a lot but I wish she was a 4*. The general cost for any 5* is already hard to justify even when they bring a niche.

However, I think the part where breeze shine the most for early days account. When you dont have any access towards AOE healers. Breeze is affordable for a new player.
Not to mention her strong kit even with E0. Also, takes consideration on her S2 skill. It provides a burst AOE healing.
Remember when the first time you played AK. You put the operator neatly side by side like a cho cho train. Its all because you lack of skills and lack of power on your operator.
Breeze exist to fill the lack of niche in your skills and operator power.

Great video, I do have some feedback for the video, there seems to be too much of unnecessary blurred gameplay with nothing else on screen for a noticeable period of time, like the first 5s is just blurred gameplay, which caused me to check what my video quality were, and realized it was 720p, this probably was made with the intend of not distracting the viewers from the information being delivered, but it ended up being more distracting cause I don't know if I should treat this as a podcast or not since there are some written form of information on the screen, but I hope you can notice this and think of some way to reduce this "dead time".
About Breeze, I do agree on most of the issues you mention for her, and that her lack of specific useful niches really might be the cause of the problem, but I also think that this is the result of the new medic "meta" or arknights meta as a whole, when even medics need to be able to deal good damage, and the need of pure healing medic are dropping (I noticed the amount of time I use ptilopsis has reduced signicantly, although she is a very strong medic), and breeze is just the one suffering the most from this, because of this the best talent I could think of for her is actually let her deal arts damage equal to the amount of excess heal she gives to allies (yes, like the IS relic) because her s2 aoe bullet might be the best option for this kind of buff, and more suitable for the "dps era" of arknights we're living in, but that's just my take.

Considering I'm not going to obtain Irene in the near future, that op in the red cert shop with the leviatate is tempting. It would just take too long to build them to the point its useful.
Anyway, I think the real problem with breeze is that uhh... Her skills fill niches we didn't ask for in an AoE medic. AoE medics niche is being able to heal 3 targets at once. Breeze's S1... Removes that in favor of healing power? It takes her down a target, and at that point your no longer comparing the skill to just AoE medics, but single target medics with multi-target skills. And when you look at all of those, you realize breeze's S1 is not truly that special, and you might as well bring a single target medic. As for breeze's S2, its nice(even if it is basically just a supercharged version of Lumen's S1), but not nice enough that I want to fully kit her out with max potential and E2 her when I just got Phtilopsis a few months back and I want to build her instead for her talent and skills.
I think I'd use her if she didn't close 600 reds considering I have all the other medics (aside from Honeyberry for the same reason and the fact that Mulberry works well enough with Chestnut for me most times). She has some pretty strong skills but the utility isn't exactly incredible. I think more people should borrow her if available to get a feel for how powerful her healing is when you need a nice burst of it.
Yeah the red cert cost is so high, it's a shame.
Nice vid, although her smug smile in her E0 art should be enough for everyone to remember her, and I think a SP regen buff would be nice for her, or maybe adding an extra healing target permanently with a module could help a lot. And still, P6 E2 80 M6 Mod3 Breeze was my best investment ingame so far.
And will you join me for a raid to HG to convince them to give my little fox a nice skin? (Not a lewd, summer skin, a CNY or a winter skin would fit her the best.)
Just make her 2nd module make her skill be a 5x5 heal instead of 3x3, since we got Shining's module changing effects when using different skills, why not? Its a niche, better than nothing for sure.
Victoriaknights gang ! Funnily enough paprika steals one of her few very niche niches of being able to heal adjacent allies with S2 outside of her range.

Red cert operator are so useful but Breez(and Quarts) are pretty hard to use(useless) the more cheap better AoE medic would be Perfumer who has global healing it might be small but very useful. She doesn't really need a rework but maybe just a few buff and adjustment and she's good to go.

I feel like arknights have a really big balancing problem, since once in a while we get good free ops, like gladiia and lumen, then we get vigil and every 5* kinda gets forgotten. Like idk how ppl got dagda
as someone who loves medics, i'd love to build breeze
but i already have perfumer and ptilopsis built, so for now theres no reason to spend the resources on her
and even still, i'd pretty much never replace perfumer

Honestly i would consider her more if she gets a Module that would change her talent to
"Gives Status Resistance to all Operators in range." Would give her a Niche in the AOE Healers category since her heals are actually really good especially when your facing Pompeii~ vut thats just me~

Breeze was actually really useful for me. Buying several copies of her gave me the extra gold certificates I needed to buy Mudrock before she left the shop.
In the Honeyberry/Mulberry comparison, Honeyberry is a sustain-style with her consistent auto S1, while Mulberry's S2 makes her a better burst healer.
How big is her AoE heal thing? Like does that extra tile technically give her even further heals? It's still niche but
the heal hits the main unit and then everybody in the 8 surrounding tiles get half. I kinda wish it healed a bigger radius to accommodate for the super long cooldown

What I hate the most about modules is the wasted chances to fix some operators. It is obvious that some early operators were used as experiments (Ceylon), until they decided what the niche of a branch should be. After they invented modules that interacted with the previously set talents they had a chance to bring those early experiments (or early operators like Breeze that didn't really have a niche) back into the game, but they completely wasted that opportunity, like what the hell is Ceylons module even doing?
Hmmm it's very sad. Some ops like Gladiia got insane modules and then you got ops like Ange and Ceylon where they only doubled down on how middling they can be. Like Yii Arknights said no unit is particularly b a d, but their usage lives or dies on if they can exploit a good or useful niche.

I use a set of 24 waifus with Surtr and Blaze (being overpowered) relegated to one usage per main story chapter. I got a playlist of those videos if you're interested.
Such a shame too, she is probably the only Victorian operator that I forget. (and Victorians is my favorite)
Also, I don't know if it is just me, but there just seems to be something about her art style that doesn't fit.
5 stars have at least _one_ gimmick, but Breeze has none.

I meant it in the biggest air quotes. A lot of her utility conflicts with her trait to prioritize heavier enemies. Her Sarkaz damage modifier does not over ride her trait. Her trait was specifically built for Rosa, if Besieger Snipers had a new trait that made their talents the focus (so Sarkaz for Toddi, sleep for Erato, and invis enemies for Totter) it would make the branch a lot more fun.
Toddi isn't useless, nobody is, but again, her talent-skill synergy is very poor and needs work.

I say Breeze's biggest problem is a problem that pledges alot of Arknights. Shit is way more expensive than what the players gets. Like you said 600 red certs is needed to buy 1 Breeze but the node for them only gives 19-21 and it's not even around 24/7.
When I was new to AK people said materials would be the problem but 2 yrs in as a f2p player I find mats aren't the problem. Anemic lmd is what's keeping 40+ units of mine at lv 1. A 5star needs almost 250k just to get to E1 max but the lmd node maxes out a 10k. Who thought that was a good idea? Add another 0 to that lmd node HG, I doubt anyone would be mad at using 36 sanity for 100k lmd.

Breeze’s greatest flaw is that she’s a medic. Self healing characters, unhealable characters, and offrole healers like defenders or Skalter all provide more bang for the buck than medics. The most used medics are probably Kaltsit and Warfarin, precisely because they bring more than just healing, or Perfumer, because she provides one of the strongest healing effects in the game.
For a medic to be relevant, they either need a strong second suit (Mon5ter, damage buff, status effect removal) or be super cheap and efficient. Right now, almost no challenge is solved with “more healing,” as opposed to CC, buffs/debuffs, cycling fast redeploys, and so forth. Tanky defender receiving strong ST heals just isn’t a go to strat.
HG gave her the worst module trait... (Giving her range won't fix this) instead, why not gave perfumer module trait where she can heal 4 instead of three.
All u think why? S1 gave breeze 100 percent atk in cost of 1 people to heal means? Yes she is now ptilopsis s2 with sussoro s2 power without limiter! And she can heal 3 people full HP!?
HG just don't like free welfare overpowered their headhunting ops (ehem lumen and gladiia).

1:01 the pronlem with Mijimalist isnt his skill, his skill has great scaling, its his atk stat thats the huge problem. It is way too low, even lower at max than a maxed Click. If he was a 4 star hed be pretty good imo, but as a 5 star, he isnt worth the investment -still completely maxed mine though-

Fr, But I love him. He’s pathetic and skrunkly and the kind of guy I would swirly. I just stick him next to my skalter and it fixes said problem.
Another thing that doesn't help is that not only is Breeze unremarkable as an operator, but she's also unremarkable as a character.
Now now, don't you all Breeze simps, all 4 of you anyway, come at me, let me explain.
Breeze has several issues when it comes to her characterization. For starters, her design is pretty meh, she has no clear cut identity. Going off the thumbnail, when you look at Perfurmer, you ask yourself what's with the dress, when you look at Ptilopsis, your eyes get assaulted by striking white and orange colours, when you look at Ceylon, you think "what a classy lady". What do you think when you see Breeze, cute girl maybe and that's kind of it? (I've got no point with the 2 wandering medics too, HoneyB is kinda bland too and MullB is... What the fuck am I even looking at).
She also has no faction, no attachment to speak off, she's entirely alone. Even dog water characters like Ceylon or Franka get some level of recognition because of who they interact with, making them more memorable.
She also doesn't have much going for her in lore, she's a noble who ran away and now she heals people, that's kind of it.
And lastly... Even if all the above isn't great, striking voicelines could have saved her, but nope, it's gotta be a kind and naïve voice. It's in character yes I can't deny that, but when the character is already forgettable, it's not helping, worse, it furthers the point.
Breeze is unremarkable in every sense of the way, that's why she's where she is, it's not merely gameplay based.
I had completely forgotten to discuss her character personality and voice lines. I'm too much of a simp to have noticed lol.
