- I feel like I've been away for too long, but here I am back with another one. It's quite a journey to make this video possible even though it's just Amiya guide, but oddly enough I enjoy making this as I use a lot of methods that I never use before, like After Effects, animating, experiment with layouts, etc. Hopefully this video becomes informative in the long term, and I'll see you guys on the next Amiya guide, Guard form :)

There is one gimmick that cater to IS enjoyer that, due to her unique class change function, Amiya can be recruit and promote with both caster and guard voucher, making her a pretty solid choice in IS mode.
If arts guards were block 2 it would be super true
Block 1 makes guardmiya kind of limited.

Very informative Amiya guide! It highlights a few details I hadn't thought of before. Her Pure Damage S3 was something I would've loved on Guide Ahead when I was a month into the game, but now that I have easier to use 'boss killer' units she got sidelined. Glad to realize she can fulfill some niche uses I don't have alternatives for at the moment.

Her S2 and S3 are both crazy powerful purely in terms of the stats and effects they give her, but in return they're really awkward to use thanks to heavy drawbacks and no initial charge at all. At least Amiya can generate a ton of SP on her own.
Honestly I like her, even if I'm spoiled by the six star core casters.

@@idontmindpineappleonapizza9591 It works. When Amiya is stunned, you can use Lumen's Skill2 (charged) or Skill3 and she is back to action. Stun gone poof

it can work great, altho a thing to note is that amiya needs to get damaged to get the insta stun removal or the resist buff from lumen's talent. it can be worked around with deployment order rlly. risk is amiya gets damaged often but lumen still heal her occasionally so it doesnt matter much
i always pick her up in is2 when farming points, she can fairly reliably kill the phantom boss and even comes promoted when picking both the guard or the caster instant promotion at the start
I don't have any 6 star single core caster , i use Amiya as my only caster.
Man I feel bad for Castmiya, she is like someone on the cusp of greatness but justtt fell short of it. S2 synergize well with her talent and role but gets cucked by auto activation. S3 is pretty amazing boss killer but it gets cucked by mobs.
Makes perfect story line sense as amiya is a new leader and op. She grows and changes with the story. Far better than the western rpgs with pretty face ads that r not even a character plot
Her S1 does have a drawback in that her talent is not active during the SP lockdown of her skill. If she had an instant use skill with charges like Ceobe's S1, then she could have used her talent to its full potential.
As for her S2, Whisperain and Skalter are the best support units as their S2s lead to a relatively reliable AFK damage/healing core. I still don't understand why low damage per hit is an issue when arts damage gets reduced by percentage of target's RES which doesn't get punished as hard as physical damage as it's reduced by a flat amount of target DEF.
Newbies will find themselves in a bit of a bind as soon as they enter chapter 4 since they will encounter the most common enemy boss gimmick - revival. This problem further worsens at chapter 6 as the next most common enemy boss gimmick gets introduced - invincibility frames after revival. While these gimmicks are problematic for new players, I think it's a good opportunity to learn repositioning and lane holding since enemies still spawn even if the boss is still down or invincible. As such, her S3 is not as bad as people say it is.
Isn't Lumen better than Whisperain
People actually said her s3 is bad? That's absurd. It's broken, and she's the only 5 star - and one of the few ops - capable of dealing true damage. Sure she's force retreated, but she becomes a huge stat stick for the duration
Heres the issues
1) sp lockout isnt really a huge issue as almost all operators has it
2) Her s2 self stun and auto activation SEVERELY limits her usage and the high so cost makes it so that you basically cant time it like you would on exu
And decreasing damage still matters as its just a 50% dps subtraction
3) her S3 has abyssmal sp charge wich makes her NEED to attack trash mobs but the same skill is also TERRIBLE to use when trash mobs as around because she always targets them wich severely limits her s3 usage
No initial sp also hurts her a ton

1) Gets easily distracted by trash mobs so much that she effectively becomes useless sometimes
2) Self hp buff pretty much only matters on 7-18
3) the insane sp cost hurts her a TON and she needs to attack trash mobs to charge her skill wich just generates the 1st issue
4) True damage isnt even that special anymore espiecelly with kaltsit and nearl
Yes she has the range advantage but these two has the ease of use
5) Her force retreat with no initial sp extremely limits her application

- My argument for her S1 issue is that it is a trashy skill all things considered. That it barely does anything while she's at SP lockdown is what I find difficult to understand.
- Her S2 has multi-hit, so it doesn't decrease her DPS during skill activation even at lvl 1. However, you can argue that the stun drops her overall DPS. For a skill that doesn't do much to have a devastating drawback is indeed heart wrenching.
- For her S3, I agree that her targeting AI is the issue. The expanded range only makes it worse. The HP is nice though since I can use that as an excuse to order Aak to kill her instead of letting her retreat automatically.
Of course they don't know. They don't read story. She downed 2 SkullCrushers, 1 FrostNova (with a bit of help), 1 Patriot (with a bit of heavy help), 1 angry possesed woman, 1 mind controlling snake, took 10 minutes of monologuing and then collapsed.
But jokes aside, being the first Operator to have True damage is kind of awesome. Tanks were gone when I first started and adding Pramarix to shred defences was just extra icing

Wow, really upped the quality with this. I had Amiya at E2 for a long time, but just started her masteries a week or so ago (Mudrock paused it for a moment for S2 M3, but Amiya is on track again) and I started with S2. Especially in IS with a few caster items Amiyas damage is actually bonkers and the perk that you can switch her to a guard is not be underestimated.
I also use her as my atk on skill auto caster, as she is basically the only caster, apart from Stuart, that can work for that.
Her Caster module is a nice addition. +5sp when normal hit and +10 on enemy kills is just too good to pass on. You can spam s1 at a crazy amount of times (M3 recommended)

Problem with amiya is many things actually
Her s3 easily gets distracted on trash mobs
Her s2 dps is amazing but the stun hurts her annual usage
Her s1 is amazing but is just a generic skill
Her skill costs as ABYSSMAL and if she cant attack enemies she basically cant get enough sp wich hurst her a ton and sinde you would want to target her away from trash mobs in s3 usage it makes it hard to use
I loved using her but her unpractical kit is annoying to work trough wich makes her guard form a blessing

Honestly, the biggest issue with Amiya is probably her E0 and E1 performance. Before that sp talent kicks in, her skill recharge is rather weak. But as an M12 (Caster S2 just doesn't seem worth it to me lol) Amiya enjoyer, I'm glad you've given Amiya her fair shake. The boss killing S3 is formidable and shouldn't be overlooked even at SL7

Random Nekogitsune video being recommended on my feed :o Great video but I want to give a feedback, you probably need to consider mobile viewers especially when the game is a mobile game so try increasing some of the really small fonts used. Even on my monitor, some texts were barely readable so I can only imagine how much harder it is to read on mobile unless they are using a tablet or some big screen. I think you mentioned timestamps but you forgot to add them too.

For an account without a boss killer (except Utage if you can call her that), Amiya S3 is truly a godsend
I feel like people know Amiya's strong, but as a unit everyone has she doesn't really feel that special imo. I haven't really ever needed her much since I like other casters, except in the Patriot and Talulah fights where she excels. And recently, I started building mastery for her s3 since she's quite good in IS.
Imo, she suffers from being the centre of attention so much that some may want to choose something else. Nobody likes being pushed to have to do a specific thing in a specific way, and if I didn't have her e2 already I'd have groaned at having to e2 her for ch8.
With her new module though, people will definitely be turning heads if they didn't before. Though I can't help but wish her stun on s2 could be negated with the module. Since she naturally gets stronger as you progress main story, would be nice to make her even stronger.
This video is fantastic, well edited and well planned. Only suggestion I have is changing the font during the pros/cons section, the thin and tall one? it's a bit hard to read, I'm not sure what would look good though 😔
I'm glad to see Amiya getting the spotlight she deserves, I wouldn't have beaten Patriot for months if it wasn't for Amiya's S3 :)

Still use Amiya since my other strong caster is only Dusk. Amiya got better stats than most ST casters I have. Haven't pulled for Eyja since I'm saving for limited banners and my certs are reserved for Surtr.
Big respect for the editing and overall effort/quality of this video! Lots of good information (especially toward newer players that probably don't have Surtr, Kal'tsit and other strong boss killers or pure damage sources)
My only criticism would be that the video is a bit overly long relative to the information in it. You did quite a bit of repeating the same statements/points throughout the video and it generally felt a little padded, like this should have been 10-15 minutes max. That's just my opinion though, I found myself needing to skip ahead or put it on 2X speed a lot to get on with it to the next 'meaningful/new' part.

Yeah, I can definitely say that Amiya's is underrated due to better units. Post-Endgame, I used her as my main caster for a long time until I got Eyja (because she is obviously more cracked and doesn't kill herself after skill use). A funny thing happened during the Code of Brawl rerun. I though that I equipped her s2m3 to break the arts shield and let me other units kill him. The skill taking long didn't mind me since I was used to that by now, until I saw that she had a manual icon 😂. It was her s3 instead, and it was actually able to kill the rat king because with true damage, you can ignore the arts shield. This is at level 7 btw. So yeah, definitely underrated, thought I wish her skills were not so expensive, even with her talent. It's annoying to have to wait a while for her s3 to be active, while Pozemka..., is Pozemka for example.

She is my most often drafted Caster in IS2 because she is flexible as both a Caster and Guard, and has True Damage to get through Lucian's dodge.
Amiya is a excellent guard..... but when you finally got Surtr, you will never use her.

Amiya is an excellent Pure damage user..... But Kal'tsit and the NTR knight are more reliable.
that's why amiya isn't very popular, she is good in everything, but her drawback make other more reliable for the same task.
5* as Ptilopsis, specter, Lapluma,.... have a niche where even 6* can't replace them. That's not the case of Amiya.
Amiya is an interesting operator that is powerful at the beginning of the game, powerful as an accessible bosskiller and then she is often benched as an account matures and has access to more 6 star operators. However, I do feel like with the advent of the Integrated Strategies and even Stationary Security Service game modes - Amiya gets a breath of fresh air as her ability to swap between two different classes is invaluable and it's ultimately what got me to invest some mastery points into her.
Since I mentioned IS, you're the first person I've noticed to recommend Pudding. Can you elaborate a bit more on her and other low-rarity operators in the context of IS and SSS?
short answer is that she is cheap and strong for her rarity rlly.
long answer, in terms of aoe, chain casters are better than aoe casters since they give slow to their enemies especially if u invest on their module (leizi and passenger) and they also have faster aspd than aoe casters. for pudding specifically, she no longer deals reduced damage which is great for this archetype as well since their chained attacks get reduced each attack. added with slow from their trait its also a good addition to give support capability for your team as well. she is expensive to deploy, but for what she can provide, it is worth the cost. for IS u only need to pay 2 hope to get her esp IS does have a lot of stages with hordes of enemies in it while in SSS, chain casters are one of the best operators to deploy sonce they can spam their slow to their enemies resulting perma slow. overall i recommend pudding, but if u have passenger then he is a much better investment. u do need their module to get their best value tho so keep that in mind 👍

I am one year old F2P player, have both E2 Kal'tsit and E2 Nearl the Radiant Knight for pure damage.
I haven't completed chapter 8, and I am half way through chapter 10. What am I missing other than story/lore with chapter 8 incomplete?
around 7-ish PO really. pretty much the main reason u play throughout the main story outside of the story.
oh and IS where u can recruit amiya regardless of caster/guard voucher

As someone who's account rules don't allow e2 6 stars, i end up using pretty much only 4 and 5 stars

But I dont think Amiya is underated. Just ussual content creator doesn’t get the hype of promoting non gacha operator.
On niche clear or low rarity guide, she is often used. Her S3 pure dmg with large range are realy good, also res on her guard form makes her kinda unique tanky.
What I see on amiya’s kit are matching with the story quite nicely.
I think rather than usual content creators don't get the hype of promoting non gacha operator, it's more of other boss killers have such little to no drawback that Amiya's drawback feels like a HUGE cons.
Amiya is literally the only operator with a potential to M15 on a single operator. Have a dual class and the first true damage operator. Moreover, she is free and you always got the max pot of her. Her talents give her every SP for each attack & even more when she kills enemy. Her mods give her further more free SP. There is no way she is balance even for 5★.
You should be thankful to the dev that Amiya dont have AOE attack or high base attack. Otherwise she is not balance through and through.
my input as another m15 amiya owner:
caster amiya s3 goes crazy, carried almost all my boss runs,
s1 and s2 are meh to use, s1 is too weak and s2 is too inconsistent, they are quite niche
guardmiya s1 goes insane too with huge dmg on skill and has arts dodge which makes her an amazing boss staller
s2 is meh, one use per battle is very limiting
in terms of synergy, mostima sp buff and eyja caster dmg buffs are great, or indigo / ethan for binds since her skill duration is so long, or saga / lxh (not out yet) for sp battery
The Advantages/Disadvantages part text is extremely small with a great amount of room to increase its size. Please do so in the future as reading it hurts my eyes.

S1 -> rubbish
S2 -> there are better options
S3 -> use kaltsit who has lesser drawbacks
conclusion: but you still need to E2 her eventually to progress within the campaign so just use her and the expanded range in S3 make her useful for enemies with a large attack range in a circular fashion, especially against mandragora.
so build her and use her mainly with S3 as a boss killer beause amiya is still very viable there where else her other skills - S2 is kind of still bad against high res which are the norm in later chapters and s1 is just pure rubbish.
there is no need to invest in amiya, just E2 her in late game to get extra OP from chapter 8 and thats it, is not worth the trouble to use her, except if you want to handicap yourself by playing some weird form of nichenights or a challange
oh right, true damage is bypassing almost all bullshit abilities

Beginners and no gacha people use Amiya, or sometimes buff army showcases. Integrated Strategy runs ofc.
Aside from such challenges or shenanigans though, there realistically is no reason why anyone would take Amiya in the endgame.
Excluding waifu players ofc, their perspectives are way different.
