An extremely underrated lens, we always hear about that 24 or 50 mil, but it's a good alternative to the 50 mm especially for street photography imo. Great video!
I agree that the 24mm is the way to go! I have been using one for about 4 years now and it almost never leaves my camera! I love it! The bokeh is amazing and people think my close up shots are macros. It can sometimes have a slight swirling/ fisheye effect but I find that pleasing . It’s not that great indoors unless you have just the right set up but it’s a beast outside! Go for it! You won’t regret it! @Charlesarbogast
My senior year starts in a couple of weeks and I really have been inspired to document it. I have been saving all summer but I have only made around $250. I was wondering what the best camera I could get for that amount.
Great vid! You can actually put a lens hood on it. I found a cheap one on Amazon that works just fine on this and the 24mm pancake. However, it adds size to it so I think that kinda defeats the purpose of a pancake lens so I almost never use it. Also, since the front element is fairly receded I don't seem to have much issue with flair or do I worry too much about damaging the front glass. Just my thoughts
This lens has been reviewed too many times already and yet another review. Maybe your time should be spent on other gears. I own one, a very good lens even better it's cheap. I use it on my Sony 7ARII.

Definitely thanks man!
Thanks, I looked at your video with the 24mm and thinking about getting that one for my T6i. Great information, keep up the good work.
If you have a T6i definitely go with the 24mm!

Yes sir you are right not sure how I got that wrong even on the box it says which lens hood works with it 😂
I use it on my Canon 80D and love it. It's perfect for my TH-cam videos
Awesome!
I've done 3 professional photo shoots with just this lens and have had amazing results all around. It equally performs my $2500 zoom lens.
Does it fit on the Canon M50?
Hey there random scroller!
Have a good day!
These quality videos are lit 🔥
just like you!
Lens hood ES-52 is available now, FYI.
Great review!
Enough good for portraits? Like
Will a metabones speed booster 0.64 turn this lens into a 25mm?
I own both on my C70D & I am much satisfied with them.
should i get this or a 50mm f1.8
Carly you should def get the 50mm first. Both are good lenses but the 50 is a must in your camera bag.
How would will it work with M50 and the EF to EFM adapter?
It’ll be exactly like any 1.6 crop sensor, 64mm actual.
Yes Just like Darkstar said!
1.6x crop
hm mine is not so sharp open wide:(
The Thumbnail says USM, help I'm so confused
It’s a STM
