If he's going to build cabs he better get going because it might be too late as we're all loosing interest. But if he'd build one it would take probably 6 months to a year to design, build and ship a new set of cabs, I love john d and would love for him to succeed but the window is closing so get going john. Go boy.

Maybe it’s like an iircade type thing , but with good games people want . He did mention in an interview not long before he left that the adding games idea was a possibility at arcade 1up.

From the description it sounds to me like he's going to be doing a lot of the stuff he did at Arcade1Up, but as a freelancer for multiple companies, as opposed to working for one company. Basically a company will hire him to secure licenses and coordinate with developers to help put out a product. That's the impression I get.
Honestly this is a smart move if that's what he's doing. He's the best at what he does, and these home arcade companies clearly need all the help they can get.

All John D needs to do is come out with 3 new licenses 1up doesn’t own and more people would jump into a pool of piranhas for him rather than stay on the 1up Titanic currently heading for the iceberg
