Street Fighter III is still the best Street Fighter game, from a gameplay perspective. It's so technical and deep that it put off most people back in the day, but mastering it is lots more fun than both previous and later games.
Please say it correctly.
Its 3rd Strike not Street fighter 3. Everyone even agrees the older versions of SF3 was not great. Even at the start of 3rd strike many didn't like it.

personally i'd rather go back to sprite animation because it's fucking stunning and this game was made back in the 90's to early 2000s and if you've seen modern sprite animation like sonic mania you know that shit looks clean but obviously a 2d game doesn't sellwell nowdays since the expectation is 3d
@@thelrproject257 it's not that 2d doesn't sell well. It's just that it's much more time consuming to produce. I'm still in awe at the sprite work done in kof 13 and I'd argue most people still are.
@@Kydino I don't know i feel like there is a stigma towards 2d style games these days in that they look retro or childish and like 3D is the only way but yeah KOF 13 is gorgeous to look at KOF 14 hurts my eyes.
Third Strike was the pinnacle of CPS3 processing. The animation was superb. Every other SF game IMO looks like shit.
This is my favorite Street fighter of all time.
The art in this game was perfect.

this is one of those games that are really satisfying to watch when played well.
i know akuma has a lower stun bar but it's still really impressive.
this really makes you appreciate increased health bars in later fighting games.
Akuma Is an exceptional case. Most characters have a normal health bar in this game, but Akuma has the lowest by far, which he makes up for with insane damage, mobility and mix ups
Urien wins longest chain with 42 hits.
Hugo wins strongest chain with only 11 [hits].
Urien is also the only one who didn't do a Stun combo.
Urien's combo is also called Demon Rape..

I'm very happy that you are interested! However I can't really say because I don't want to risk giving you false hopes. The good thing is that the combos are done on paper but an Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 combo video is in the works (for an awfully long time in fact) and the plan is to finish it first and make the second part of this series after that. Volume 2 will contain only combos against Remy by the way. I have some health issues now so I have to survive first though.
So you're worried about the touch of death? (I kid, I kid.)
Health should absolutely be a priority over something less important, such as combo videos.

Mokoto's combo looks hard to pull off.
cease25 they use tas as in they are 99% impossible for a human to do so ofc they look hard but they do look sick non the less

That Makoto one is mainly just styling, she has tons of well-known 100% combos that're way easier.
Makoto in general has some very strict combos, but Dudley juggle combos get SUPER crazy.
Here we see Akuma regretting his life choices to sell his HP for damage.

This may be a stupid question, but why does the jump following Ryu's SAII look so jerky?
Thanks! I like to make combos that punish the opponent in certain situations. I still needed to complicate things because it's a combo video after all. There are much simpler versions of these combos in general.
I suppose the jump looks like that because of the camera switching from Ryu to Gouki very fast. Not a bad question at all really. In some situations where the camera is focused on the character that performs a super move some strange things can be observed. Cheers!

Hey, thanks! I use FBA-RR emulator to record uncompressed avi. Then I use VirtualDub in combination with AviSynth scripts for editing. The video is resized with the "nearest neighbor" filtering algorithm at slightly beyond 4K resolution (I can tell in detail if you want) and compressed with the Lagarith codec with mkv as a container. The audio is compressed with the FLAC codec. The process is a little convoluted but I'm relieved that the quality is noticed. I'm wondering why TH-cam doesn't support more than 1080p for 4:3 aspect ratio. This video is 16:10 and the black bars around it are part of it in order to be 4K. :3

By "tool-assisted", do you meant the combos are impossible to execute by a human playing under normal circumstances?
By definition tool-assistance is nothing more than exploration of the right button presses at the right times with flawless execution so in theory they are possible normally. Some of those combos aren't even that hard but that's besides the point.
