I wish this could be connected to ecu and provide other indicators and performance graphs like fuel performance etc so as to be full instrument cluster replacement if you were modding/customising a bike. The time it takes to boot would be an issue but wouldn’t be too big of a deal.
I would wait to buy this until after the OBDII port adapter is available and firmware is updated again. This is a crowd funded startup and they don't always survive unless they get lucky and find Venture Capitol Investors to fund it's future. "Lite" implies there maybe another version of this system down the road. It's a great idea for a first version.
Nice video. Is it possible to flip the rear video stream 180 degrees so you can mount it upside down? Pretty cool product, so many nice features in one unit.
Does it have any battery protection? I assume the parkering sentry mode is drawing power even when turned off. Will it stop drawing power at a certain threshold?
Definitely a great option for an assistant. Great video. I recently purchased Carpuride. But if it doesn't work well I'll opt for this one. Regarding the cameras, is it possible to view the videos on the smartphone? Does it work as a dash cam? Or do we always have to delete previous content? Thanks for the video.
Hey thanks for watching, yes you can view them via the app and yes they are dash cams. You can add a 256gb micro sd card and it will re-write old footage once it's full.
You mentioned not liking to keep your phone on the handlebar on the bike - not sure if you've gotten enough messages about this already - but there's a solution/product for that. There are a number of mount makers out there that offer vibration dampeners that goes with their mounts. If you can afford a motorcycle I'm sure you can afford those. I personally feel like some of the dampeners look like bullshit, they just add an additional plate that look like they'd vibrate along with the rest of your bike and mounts, so I picked a brand that has less advertising but seems to still have been around for a while, that makes dampeners with 4 springs that seems to be able to absorb more of the vibration. I don't remember the name now but if you would like I can dig around my email to find it.
I did use a well-known company that creates phone mounts with an anti vibration module and still broke my phone cameras. There is no mount that removes the micro jitters completely, and they mention that on their websites. Some phones handle vibrations better than the others, and you might ride years without issues. Another critical issue I had with my previous s21 ultra is screen burn in. My phone was always on the bars at full brightness, under the sun, using navigation that resulted in a screen burn. Again, it all depends on how often you use it. Motorcycle phone mounts are a great cheaper alternative to motorcycle navigation systems with some drawbacks. The AIO-5 or any other smart riding system addresses these issues while adding additional features. Your choice ultimately boils down to personal preference and budget considerations. Regardless of the setup, enjoying the ride is what matters most.
@@Moztreet Ah fair enough. Thanks for articulating and explaining the issues that you had. I totally agree, ride your own ride, was just offering a suggestion - albeit unsolicited :) :p
So if DB is the Brightness (which doesn't make any sense when there's a slider that says "Brt" at the side of it) just what is the "Brt" slider for, you conveniently skipped straight over with no mention of it or it's function whatsoever?
Can you run speedo set up and also carplay? This device should be a full speedo replacement or to go on top off it, but not being able to have speedo and carplag same time seems silly. Just use a quadlock and your phone
Great review! Does the blind spot detect oncoming traffic as it passes by you? I would hope it does not but feel I have noticed it does on some reviews of This product.
Thanks! It detects traffic behind you, the sides, and anything that is passing. I couldn't show a riding example in this video due to local gps issues, but it works perfectly while riding.
Firstly it’s a fantastic piece of kit. However I am having problems with detection of oncoming traffic, being picked up on the rear camera. Reported this to Chigee, and they recommend adjusting the sensitivity to the low level and increasing the speed threshold. I will be trying these recommendations at the weekend, hopefully the change in settings work. Will keep you posted 🇬🇧
@@Moztreet Does it have an obd accessorie that you need to buy separately? I tried to contact Chigee but i had no luck that's why I'm asking here. Thank you in advance.
Can it work with 3rd party offline mapping Apps, like Sygic or any other. Basically want to know if I can be used in places with no mobile network coverage
As far as I know, google maps have offline maps you can download, and then yes, GPS to your phone should be enough data for GPS map location. Not sure about Sygic.
That's why it's called a Smart riding system, works with your smartphone via android auto or apple carplay. All other features work with and without a smartphone...
this systems not enough smaart they dont have gps module and you cant upload route so it is not good not clever why anbody put this two things dont know
Love this just don’t understand why motorcycle companies don’t have this already! Would love options like this for my Yamaha

That's an awesome idea. Ride modes plus fuel consumption/calculation.
Need this for my Honda Grom, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the review!
bro your aesthetic is something else I love it!
Welcome back on TH-cam
Im a fan! always waiting for your new video.
The only thing that i badly need is that carplay feature! So convenient! ✨
It sure is!

Woow nice gadget, It is better than many screens from some well-known brands and the operation seems fluid, good viideo❤
Yes I agree!
Ahh my friend! nicely done!
Thanks man!
Fantastic review. Thanks 😊
Nice unit.
Would have done those Chinese plugs into a Molex or Deutch DT connector.
I like the scrambler 900❤
Great review.
Love this! Is the OBD connection working now? Also, which OBD connector do you use for your bike?
Interesting piece of tech! I only wish you could connect it to the ecu so this could be a full on replacement of the oem speedo.
That would be even better!
So you have a lava mic taped near the exhaust, do you have an additional one in your helmet?
I love the carbon helmet, what is it?
Great video 👌👌but you missed mentioning the part where you need the app to register the device to be able to use it....
Yes I noticed. Thanks for watching!
Clean setup🔥
Thanks!
Nice video. Is it possible to flip the rear video stream 180 degrees so you can mount it upside down? Pretty cool product, so many nice features in one unit.
Yes it is possible by manually twisting the lens. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, Nice detailed video.
Does it overheat easily? I live in 35’c country, phone usually overheats when put on handlebar on daylight.
Thanks man. Waiting for summer to test it under heat.
Exactly how I feel when there is water and I have tp pass over it 😂
haha

Muuy guauuu! = so cool
Could this substitute a hole cluster does it have the ability to track odometer check engine light signal indicator if hooked up to Bluetooth OBD 2 ?
It will support an obd 2 connection via Bluetooth next month (according to chigee).
@@Moztreet I guess I'll just have to wait and see thanks for your input
How long does it record video and does it over write once it gets to the end? I understand it depends on the size of the card.
Does it have multitouch? Like pinch to zoom.
possible to use the back camera still driving? maybe as mirror?
Of course, I do that all the time

love your videos ❤️, I wanted to know which gloves you are using on the video, as they look very retro and cool.

Can you finish the moto vlog series you were talking about editing footage next please?
Just finished the script, keep a lookout this weekend

can the sound (BSD) be heard on the move ?
Yes

Firmware update in May-June will allow it yes

Brt = brightness

Its too small, it is going to cause accident instead of preventing them when you are squinting for directions on google maps
Never had to squint to look at the monitor. It's large enough imo.
