I did not know this band they're excellent and talented, the way they play the instrument and the musical arrangements are perfect. Also the lyrics are so real money controls the world and corrupts It because they have the power and influence all around us👌👏🎸🥁🎤
The tech that Alex uses live. Wow. No other touring guitarist in ANY band can pump out the sound that he generates. That may be his and the band's secret weapon.
It flat out gives me joy to see you enjoy the music I've enjoyed for over forty years now. This one was from Power Windows, which I purchased on 11 October 1985 (aka the album's release date) when I was 17 years old. I still have the ticket stub, a square button with the album cover on it, and a concert booklet from the Power Windows Tour, which came to Toronto on March 6th and 7th of '86 (I attended on the 6th). It was my goal with this block of requests to introduce you to Rush music you probably hadn't heard yet, keeping in mind my understanding that you paused your song-by-song album review at 1982's Signals. I've also kept it all live because I expect you'll eventually complete your album reviews (that, and because it's freakin' Rush). Again, very happy to see how this music makes you happy too.
3:24- 4:34, wow… Alex Lifeson- man of a thousand (tasteful) solos. Few guitarists in all of time have composed such grandeur in just 70 seconds. As he shows time and time again throughout his vast and very different catalog, that less is often so much (impact-fully) more. A world of love to Alex; the man’s a creative genius, and the color of the band.
I wasn't too keen on the studio recording or the early live versions of this track. This live version though is much more guitar heavy and has mellowed out a little. Which is a big improvement.
Really LOVE THE REACTION!!! Maybe check out NEIL PEART Buddy Rich HONOR?????!!!!!!!!! :) Surprises awaits!! :) ♥AND, or... Victor Wooten bass music????????? :) “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 15:13

This was an amazing and fun tour. I am glad they have this show recorded and available forever!
Love your reactions - particularly your Rush, The Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo... being Canadian and all.😎
RUSH making all that noise with just 3 guys always blows me away. Those 3 guys make enough racket for a 4 or 5 man band. Incredible!
My gosh they were so good, it could make you cry..

Awsome 3 man band!! Mind blowing show. Sure miss these guys performing BRILLIANT JAMS😊😮😢 Rip Neil Peart. 😢
Yeah this one alway leaves me wondering how Geddy can sing while playing that bass line. He was just n fire.
Rush is Timeless.
Luv your reactions. Enjoy the ride Rory.
Love the big grin on your face listening to Rush again.
Yep, this was a gooder! 🔥🔥🔥
This makes my day, Brother!
Love your reactions, man. You're a cool dude. Cheers!
Natural Science live 😍
Absolutely. The 1997 molson amphitheatre show is the best by far. ( same as 2112 from that same show)

WOW!
The Garden live is always good after a break from RUSH videos Rory...highly recommended and different from the usual RUSH pace.
That's Rush, a beautiful racket .
Loved your reaction, Rory!! Please think about doing the interview I posted yesterday... you will just love it! Be well and God bless… my friend!
"A show of hands" has the best version of this song live. It was still fresh and the guys really leaned into it.
🏆🏆🏆🏆
Sadly time goes by so quickly Rory...and taking things for granted does happen / sometimes too late to notice and they are gone.
Can you imagine playing that hard at that age?
you,'ve got to do their skits.

Saw rush live 10 times and miss them so much, not interested in seeing any other band now. Would you react to the camera eye next please.

Most underrated song…..this song is better than:
Tom Sawyer
Subdivisions
Time Stand Still
…and yes Limelight
it's better than roll the bones
Funny but seriously, take it easy on the volume. Lost hearing never comes back. 😢❤
