I love that promenade deck so much! Also one of my most favourite things about cruising. The thought of being able to walk that every day while the sun sets... heaven ❤🙏
When I was 16, I flew to Panama from London to join a Shell Tanker (merchant navy) called the Asprella and spent six months going up and down west coast of South America. We visited Venezuela, Panama, Curacao, Ecuador, Columbia, Peru and Chile. In 1980 I joined the Royal Navy and not too long after went to war with Argentina off the Falkland Islands in a Destroyer called HMS Cardiff. Today I have many friends in Argentina, some are my former enemy. I have no hatred in my heart towards my old foe, only love, peace and reconciliation. Say hi to Argentina for me, I'm going there for the very first time in 2026 and then flying to Chile to get a flight to the Falkland Islands...my first visit since the war. Love and happiness to you both, I very much enjoy watching your adventure.

Can one smoke on their balcony? Is there a cigar lounge? Also, I looked at the Villa Vie website and found it confusing. One section says that there are no monthly fees? Is this true?
There are outdoor smoking areas, I have seen at least 2. (Deck 5 aft and 9 forward) In the DR, we did Casa de Campo (1), La Romana (3), and Santo Domingo (3). Lastly, there are several programs to buy in. The Endless Horizon program does not have monthly fees. The sales agents are not pushy, just reach out and get the break down of each. Lots has changed since we bought, so I don't want to give wrong information. Hope this helps!
