Thank you guys. Your point of view seems really reasonable and realistic....yeah it's not a Viking cruise, or super luxurious, but the cost frankly reflects that. Everyone knows it's an older ship, at a reasonable cost, so expectations should fit that...and it sounds like your expectations are a little bit exceeded, which is great to hear. Down-to-earth honest reviews on Villa Vie are not as common as they should be, and I think you are doing a great job in that regard. Thanks
Hey! Really appreciate your good words and coming along. You got it perfectly. We don’t go to Target and expect Brunello Cuccinelli:). We are having fun, kinda unbothered and relaxed on our journey. Our goal is to stay that way, but stay tuned to see what happens!!
We well understand financial disclosure as one of us was a corporate officer of two fortune 100 companies for decades. This is our TH-cam, not a company. We are retirees, not officers of the company. This is TH-cam, not the New York Times. We are founders along with dozens of others onboard, so that’s not a big deal. Those are our points, and you’re missing them.
I believe that when you look for the good, that's what you see. If you look for the bad, you're going to see only the bad. Great attitudes for travel and life you two!
Hi, love your outlook. I am 🇦🇺 about to embark on a cruise this morning on Pacific Explorer (launched 1996). This ship has cruised Australian, NZ and Pacific waters for years and as it home ports here we know it, affectionately referred to as Dora. Enjoyed 7 cruises on her. The Ville vie feels similar, yes they are older, yes they aren’t glitzy and don’t have bumper cars. But they are comfortable and you can enjoy them even with outdated colour schemes. I’m confused by the obsession with big brand new ships in the American market, not necessarily better imho. We choose smaller ships for the intimacy, ease in ports and accessibility to small ports. We wish you all the best on this journey. Ville Vie doesn’t pretend to be a luxury cruise with all the bells and whistles. It’s an apartment with the benefit of waking up somewhere new most days. People are missing the point here. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘💚💚💚💚💚👍🏻

Thanks so much! We're trying to keep things fun and positive while also being honest and transparent. When do you join? Excited to meet you and glad to have you here!
He! Yes, it’s a journey and we’re going along for the ride! We are focusing on enjoying ourselves and trying hard not to get too caught up in things. So glad you are here!
Realists always get more than expected. I am subscribed to one couple on that ship who just want to have a wonderful experience and have a great attitude that "what happens, happens" go out and enjoy your port of call. Glad I found you two gents.
Thanks so much for your comment and coming along with us! We really are enjoying the ride and trying hard not to waste time and energy on negativity. For sure it’s a work in progress and things need some work before we are all done but we are in and so far enjoying this imperfect and sometimes tricky ride. Glad you found us, too!
Hey. Yes, clearly there’s been a lot of challenging things to deal with, and probably more will come. We are trying to enjoy the ride and not waste too much of our precious time and energy in focusing there but acknowledge its sometimes challenging and it’s not for everyone, for sure. Thanks for the comment.
ENJOY the experience!!! We have been on both types of ships and both have their pros and cons. It's truly a blessing to be able to do this type of voyage!!!! Who cares about décor when you are able to see the beauty of the ocean, nature and cruise the WORLD??? That's priceless!! Come on people put things in perspective.
I’d like to see what you two did with everything you brought aboard. It appeared you had a lot of luggage. Would also like to see how you decorated your room. I’m from Baltimore so I’m so excited to be sharing your experience. Can’t wait to see your future videos. Thank you for sharing.
We’ll have a tour video coming soon! Hey, neighbor! The luggage fortunately went under the bed, and getting all the boxes out helped, too. Stay tuned and glad you’re here:)
Hey! Thanks so much and we really appreciate your kindness. We don’t spend energy on things that don’t serve us or others in ways inconsistent with our values and are just trying to be honest and transparent and have some fun. Glad you’re here!
I am delighted that you have had such an easy adjustment. Thank you for the balanced assessment. Your travel experiences give you an excellent perspective. Welcome to your new home!
Thanks! We really enjoy sharing our lives with you all! Glad you’re coming along. We really want to send out real, transparent and respectful opinions and our experiences. Respect and kindness are wonderful to share and we are happy you’re here with us:}
You both look so very happy. I really appreciate your statement that the ship is what it is and not what it isn’t. Your focus and attitude are positive though not dismissing what still needs to be done. My husband and I are so looking forward to joining the ship in the near future. You have given us more to be excited for. Thank you 🙏 Enjoy🎉❤
I’m glad you are happy with your second home! But honestly, what makes me feel the best is knowing the people you’ve met so far have been warm and welcoming. I’m sure in your life you’ve known the opposite type, too. 😜 keep enjoying yourselves; you deserve it! Linda 😊❤
Thanks, Linda! We really are so lucky to have met wonderful people and are enjoying the diversity and vibe of the ship. Yes, both growing up in the south in the 70s/80s we’ve seen some haters, but fortunately those are mostly very old and thankfully distant memories. Glad you’re here!
Hey! You got us blushing! Thanks so much, honestly. Messages like yours really make our day. We appreciate your subscription and promise to do our best to make sure you feel it was the right move. Glad you are here:)
It seems that if one's expectations are properly calibrated, and one remains at least somewhat flexible, then a good time can be had. It's not perfect, it will never be perfect, and it's not high-end, but if it generally meets expectations, then a passenger will be okay with it. Everyone has their non-negotiables in life, so ask 10 people what they think of their experience so far, and there might be a range of answers. From appearances, it seems most people are doing fine and even having fun too. Is this sustainable and can VVR stay in business? Remains to be seen...TBD. I'm glad you're enjoying your journey so far!
Hey! Really hear you. So much is about individual perspective and experience. We are taking the approach that we are going to enjoy ourselves and try to be part of solutions. Glad you’re here!
Enjoy your new cruising lifestyle! I bought a sailing catamaran 3 years ago and I have visited dozens of islands and countries. I am currently in Colombia for a few months before I sail on to Panama. I still love the adventure...
Hi there, It has been great being able to share in your journey. In fact, I got so enthused, I went on to the Villa Vie website and started looking at the inventory to get a sense of what is available and the costs involved. There weren't many green "available for sale" cabins left, but to my surprise, 6093 was! Have you decided to move cabins, or changed your minds about the whole thing, or is it perhaps an error on the website? Very intriguing! Looking forward to an update in a future video.
@@Oceania2367 Thanks for the heads up! I just went and had a look at those comments. It hadn't occurred to me that Chris and Michael could be being misleading in some way, and be on the payroll or have some other undisclosed financial interest, rather than simply being genuine residents. I hope that isn't the case.
Hey! Thanks for the comment and coming along. There’s a fun story about this and we’ll share in a new video soon. No spoilers for now, but stay tuned for the whole story. Thanks much!
Do you feel that communication from the company is adequate and transparent? Do they address issues/answer questions such as how they intend to obtain necessary certification to enter U.S. waters and Antarctica, and also their plans for long term financial stability of the company? Are there something akin to a shareholders' meetings where such questions can be asked?
Hey. We’d say the communication is improving after some tough times due to the delays, etc. We have found it better and believe it will continue to improve. There are some meetings and communication where things like you mention are discussed, but they aren’t public, not unlike most any company meetings. For example, we aren’t privy to Azamara financials or plans as they are privately held. There are still many unanswered questions and for sure things to be worked out. We are flexible and rolling with it, but acknowledge the need for firmer answers quicker. We think that will come as things stabilize. Thanks.
Hey. Understood. We are founders and do have some info that is for founders only. We won’t discuss that information nor anything related to founders, as we’ve said prior. We are presuming you and most readers of this question are not founders, like Azamara guests versus Azamara shareholders, which was the analogy we were trying to use. Bottom line, we are founders, along with many other folks. We can’t and won’t speak for others, nor about anything private. That’s the same approach we’ve seen and used with every other private and public company we’ve been affiliated with. Hope that makes sense now. Thanks.
So interesting to hear your early impressions! Sounds like a solid positive start and I hope the remaining issues on the ship keep improving. The ship has already overcome a lot of obstacles, which is a good sign of more progress to come. I’m curious what’s going on with the port certification issues with docking in the US and other some countries. I can’t tell if there’s a genuine concern or if it’s just internet drama.
Hey! Thanks for coming along with us and your question. We aren’t privy to the details on certifications but don’t have any specific information or concerns. The ship is definitely under different renovations and there’s a lot to consider. We are sailing and that took a lot to do. We personally think a great deal of the chatter is overblown and from people without full knowledge. Drama isn’t for us but as we’ve said all along this is a startup and we are rolling with it. Glad you’re here!
@@dchiddengemsthanks for the reply! I’m rooting for everything to work out as easily as possible. And I’m sure you will have a great adventure wherever the ship takes you.
Thank you for being honest and yet so positive! Excited to follow along with your journey. And thank you for realizing it is going to take time with a start up.
Thanks for the comment and coming along! We are really trying to be honest and balanced, so thanks for seeing that. Looking forward to sharing more and again, thanks for watching:)
You’ve changed my mind! I’ve been following some accounts and was unimpressed but you seem realistic, honest and people I’d love to cruise with! I wish you all well. Subscribed!
This was a wonderful update!! Thank you very much! I have nothing but great wishes for this Villa Vie adventures!! Blessings! I have always thought this ship would be a unique adventure that due to its size & ability to be community, to be able to spend more than 8 to ten hours in a port just offers something I would love and that has never been available before….It is a brilliant concept!!
We agree! The ship's size and ability to offer an extended stay in each port truly set it apart. We are enjoying it and are so happy you’re here. Stay tuned as we explore more ports and get more experience on board. We will keep it real!
Yes! Thank you for that wonderful reminder. We are thankful and really try to keep perspective on how lucky we are. Best to you and God bless you and yours:)
You two are adorable, I’d travel with the both of you any day! Thanks for the info, can’t wait to see the cabin tour. Given your experience thus far, it seems like you two don’t have any regrets. Great! 🎉
Hey! We knew we liked you! Thanks so much and we are so happy to have you here. We are excited to share our experiences with you and are so happy to have you coming along! No regrets! See you soon!
What a great adventure! An open mind... a willingness to be at the edges... and a sense of joy as you embrace it all! I look forward to following you along the way.
Wow... great review,.. Thank you! Given the two of you have sailed on such high luxury brands (yet obviously also sail with a great air of flexibility), thrilled to hear your evaluation! I would love to do something like this. Not sure when, but so glad to hear that things are moving forward - slow but sure. We've heard that VV is still saying that you're going to antarctic, and that's one thing I'd be concerned with.. I hope they dont, as it doesnt seem to be the right ship,, to safely sail into that area of the world (could be wrong, but)... Seems like it takes the right ship to get across the Drakes passage and then deal with the ice in the antarctic. Bottom line, hoping you all just stay safe. Look forward to more updates!
Hey! Glad to have you here:). We haven’t yet heard of any changes regarding Antarctica but will keep you posted. We’ve done the trip on a different cruise and loved it. Drakes can be very rough, for sure. Thanks again and stay tuned!
I’m really enjoying traveling along with you two. I’m curious how the visa and passport situation works, maybe you could talk about that at some point.
Hey. Thanks much. As Americans there is not much to it since visas are not usually required. EU will have a new requirement in the future but it will be a simple online system. The one place most challenging is China but VVR is working directly with the consulates to help us. We will try to cover more in the future. It gets more challenging for passengers from other countries.
Level headed, real-word feedback, for as long as this thing lasts, you are living the dream (that so many others wish they could) and don't let negativity get in the way of all the positives.
Great review. I've been following some of the Villa Vie news, and it's so nice to get your balanced review. As you noted, this isn't a cruise ship, but a home or second home. Looking forward to more videos!
Thanks! We love the ship and are happy you’re joining us on the journey! We do think of it as our second home and it’s a very different feeling than just getting on a ship for a while. Glad you’re here!
Great review! All the positives you stated mean a lot knowing you have been cruising Azamara. I think I would be OK with all the shortcomings EXCEPT the Jacuzzi. It's not a cruise without a hot tub!
This was a lovely review! I love positivity and you both demonstrated that. I feel for the company that has worked so hard to make this come into being-they have faced such huge hurdles. If my husband and I did this, we would prefer a smaller ship. We are not a big fan of crowds! I love how the ship has so many nooks and cranny’s where you can find a spot for the different things you want to do. The food looks amazing and Inwould definitely need the gymn and an iron will to live on Villa Vie😍
We are really excited to see you coming along with us! We love the ship as well and for sure there’s still much to be done. The food is awesome!! We are trying to offset the food with the gym but it’s getting harder as we get older:)
Wow! Thanks, Barry. We’d love to be neighbors and are so happy to share our experiences with you. Running away is kinda working for us so far! Glad you are here!
I am actually looking into the Villa VIE for myself, hopefully in the next year. My daughter is tackling health issues, and I want to know what has been taken care of before I would feel comfortable leaving her, but all that should be sorted by the end of the year. It's sort of bizarre that I would be thinking of it because I have never been on a cruise. I had one scheduled for late spring but canceled because my daughter became ill. I will definitely take a cruise before I take a huge step like Villa Vie. I am quite the loner and love my solitude. Would that be a hindrance for me? I like people, but there are times that I have to have my solitude and would definitely need my space for that time. I would appreciate any input, I would be very new to this adventure.
Hey! Hope your daughter heals. We agree with taking a longer cruise first to experience it before even thinking about it. That said, there are all types of people and personalities aboard. We like our space and privacy as well, and understand. You’d have to determine if your cabin would work for you or not as the other spaces are shared and thus not private. Hope that helps. Our recommendation would be to find a deal on an extended cruise somewhere to test it for yourself. Glad you’re here!
Hey! No tipping is required, but we do tip occasionally. Depending on how you cruise there may be monthly fees to cover ongoing expenses like travel, food, internet, etc. We bought our cabin and thus have monthly fees. Other options don’t have monthly fees. We don’t discuss financial details here but the company website has details. Glad you’re here!
Thank you for this great video. It's great to get this honest assessment. Interesting about what you said about the feeling of being 'homely', and that it does feel homely. That's great!
We’re so glad you feel that way, and are glad you’re coming along with us! We are really trying to be honest and transparent and share our experiences from our POV.
Hi and thank you for your balanced view. We live in UK and the very first cruise that sold us on cruising was in 2004 was on Fred Olsen Black Watch now scrapped unfortunately. We were booked to sail on Braemar aka now Odyssey in 2021 but pulled due to Covid. I’m sure that she is a great ship. Enjoy ❤
Hey! Thanks so much for the comment and coming along with us! We really like the ship and it’s cool to see it coming back after the hiatus. Stay tuned and thanks again!
Very interesting to hear your initial take. Glad that for the most part the ship and the experience is meeting and exceeding your expectations. I'm pretty sure I would enjoy it for a month or so but would eventually find living in a smallish cabin confining. Sometimes you just want to eat alone and have your favorite foods/snacks right there, and not have to say hello to anyone or be in a public space. I'll be interested to hear how often the menu changes at the buffet and restaurant.
Hey! Thanks much. For sure finding your personal space and being able to feel comfortable is critical and it’s a different way of living we are still figuring out. There is a real variety in menus and choices, actually more than we’d expected and for sure more than when we did extended cruising on other lines. Glad you’re coming along!
We hear you on that and love the coziness of her. She’s been around but we are finding her a real home and we love the character. All our homes have been older and while we like the updates, there’s something just right about the ship for us. Stay tuned and thank you!
Hey! Thanks much. Yes, the room is tight and you can’t stay there too long. We enjoy getting out around the ship and of course ports. Glad you’re here!
It sounds great. My concern would be what would happen if the company goes bankrupt. You talked about your costs being guaranteed for 15 years, but the company's cost will definitely increase. Hopefully everything will work out for you, and good for you for living your lives to the fullest! I'll have to experience it vicariously through you guys LOL.
Hey! Thanks for the comment and coming along with us! Yes, costs will rise and there’s always the risk of the unexpected. We are loving it and keeping our eyes open. Glad you’re here!
Hey! Kindest thing we’ve heard in a long time. Thank you:). We love and respect each other, and are honestly best friends. We know we are lucky and your good words are so appreciated:)
Love the idea of this type of a lifestyle! Are all meals, fitness classes included as part of the monthly fees? Can you touch on what is included as part of the monthly fees versus what you have to pay for outside of those fees. Looks like excursions are extra but perhaps not all excursions??
Hey, Sandra! Thanks much. Most essentials are covered, including food and fitness classes, internet, laundry, etc. but not shore excursions. The company website has details if you want them. Really glad you are sharing this with us!
Hey! We can rent it, let friends and/or family use it, or let it sit idle. We aren’t sure how long we will be away, so will determine that once we get firmer plans. But renting or giving others use is all available to us. Glad you are here!
I would be so scared to pay out all that money when the company could go belly up before one even boards. Another red flag for me was that they could not even get a web site up and running. I hope you get to see the world in that ship and wish you the best of luck. From Vancouver BC
Hey! Thanks for the comment and coming along with us! There’s risk, for sure, but we are feeling more confident and enjoying ourselves more each day. For sure a startup with many moving pieces and lessons learned to date. We love Vancouver and are so happy that you are here!
Not sure who you are, but your embarkation video popped up while I was watching a Tokyo micro-apartment tour. And here we are! You had me at 'included beer/wine,' yes please. But honestly, it was your TV/movie mention that sealed the deal. Do you ever plan your travels around TV shows or movies? Any favorites that inspired your travels? How are the TV/movies on your trip?
Oh @connie_360 I love you! While we don’t go to a place solely based on a television show or movie, we always research what was filmed there and tour. I’m dying to do a video on Setjetting as it’s called. If you’re interested, I use the SetJetters app to help research locations. One place we loved and targeted at least in part because of movies was the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan as well as Petra. See those two videos of ours where we talk about those movies.
How do alcoholic beverages work on the ship? Do you buy your own or do they have a bar/package you buy? I’m curious of your experience as I may live like this in a few more years after life quiets down a bit more. Love to you two from east TN!
Hey East Tennessee! Both are options. You can purchase your own or buy a la carte a low prices or a package that is reasonably priced. We generally don’t buy much as wine is included at lunch and dinner. We are happy you’re coming along with us!
@carolkeenan857 yes absolutely. It’s from Amazon and the link to our Amazon favs is in the description. You will see it in our New Cruise Essentials list. Let us know if you have any questions.
Hey! Yes, you can. You have to get things approved to be on a ship, but that’s no problem. We will eventually do more, as we figure out what we want and what works. Glad you’re here!
People that caution new residents (who are watching these brand new vloggers- full and drunk on hope and positivity) are actually not trolls. Trolls by definition are negative commenters who have nothing of value to add. They are your classic pot stirrers. Know the difference. Have a blessed day!
Hey! Thanks much for the good words! We are trying to be honest and just share our experiences. We’ve repeatedly said we don’t tell anybody what to do, aren’t sponsored, and don’t want drama. Seems some out there are obsessed with negativity and judging but that’s social media. Important to remember the vast majority of people aren’t that way, are awesome and can understand nuance and facts, and that those few that have some need to spew will spew but we don’t have to react to their spewage:)
We’ve had our channel for years. You can see that. We aren’t full on drunk but know there’s nothing wrong with some positivity balanced with logic, risk-taking and appropriate caution depending on one’s situation.
This was a great video, I’ve watched some negative videos from someone who isn’t even on the ship so this was a nice change!! So happy that you are both enjoying this adventure! A great perspective!!
Hey! Thanks so much and really glad you’re coming along. It’s funny to us how so much of the negative stories come from anonymous or disgruntled people who hate almost anything to others who’ve never seen the ship. It’s definitely a work in progress and far from perfection but we are really enjoying it. Glad to have you with us!
I have to be honest, looking at the pricing and added regular charges according to the website, it seems like a whole lot of money for a very basic room. But if you love it, what does it matter?
Hey. Thanks for the comment and coming along. We look at it as including more than the room, where most of the value is in the travel and food, etc. For sure it’s not anything like buying a different second home. We are loving it so far, and appreciate your sharing it with us.
I.m curious about something. On a regular cruise ship there is usually a tipping procedure. Do you tip on Villa Vie or is this not something that's done.
I live in the DC area and am about 15 years older than you guys. I look back at my travels and never remember worn cushions, peeling paint or how much storage I had. I only remember the thrill of disembarking at a new port, the chance friendships made along the trip, the kindness of the crew. And of course seeing things that as a child I never believed I would experience. I am enjoying being on your adventure.
You know travel and you know what is nice tavel and the difference between nice and true 5 and 6 star luxury travel on paper and you know what nice affords..sometimes more nice, more options..your not having to choose a home or the ship!!!. My grandparents had very nice travel in retirement with a retirement group that went both nice budget and nice nice and she did watercolors rest of her life when traveling stopped until eyesignt did. The ship part was princess in the upper lower which to them was fantastic because the LOVE Boat and not always were they on a ship...she was so excited to take me on a just little step up, little bigger cavin in a ship like yours here in the day..but health got in the way. I got some travel in my college youth and 20's and am finally close to be able to do some again...Yes we all would like to try all of it..but weighing and measuring often gets one even more in wuality spread over your whole life and that includes a certain flexibility and real quality of seeing the good things and the unique things with great people and company who do the same...so happy for you and so happy for your satisfied reports..thank you!!! I am really enjoying your channel.
Hey. Yes, depending upon how you choose to cruise. Because we bought our villa we have monthly fees. Others are different. We don’t get into financial details but you can check out the website of the company if you’re interested. Thanks for coming along !
Thank you guys. Your point of view seems really reasonable and realistic....yeah it's not a Viking cruise, or super luxurious, but the cost frankly reflects that. Looking for the good is not going to change that terrible view, there I said it.

Carnival only has 30 yr old + ships in Australian market all the time and we deal with it.
Thanks so much! We're trying to keep things fun and positive while also being honest and transparent. When do you join? Excited to meet you and glad to have you here!
Experienced travelers understand that nothing is perfect. Have fun guys!
He! Yes, it’s a journey and we’re going along for the ride! We are focusing on enjoying ourselves and trying hard not to get too caught up in things. So glad you are here!
I love your attitudes! Realistic most importantly and positive. Thanks for sharing the good, the not as good, and opinions on it all!

We are trying to enjoy the ride and not waste too much of our precious time and energy in focusing there but acknowledge its sometimes challenging and it’s not for everyone, for sure. For me, the ocean is my decor! Getting into those small ports is priceless!
Agreed! Thanks much!
Hey! Great comment! Thanks for the good words and coming along with us! Love your vibe! Keep it coming, please!
I’m very interested in this too! And coincidentally, also originally form Baltimore! 😃🙌
Great video, thanks!
Do not listen to the nay sayers and trolls. Enjoy the new chapter in your lifes. Stay well. Stay happy. Peace.
Hey! Thanks so much. We are thrilled to have you with us. We are excited about the travel and all the small, lesser-known ports. Glad you’re here:)
Finally. Best Villa Vie channel by far. Subscribed
Hey! YOU. JUST. MADE. OUR. DAY! Thanks so much for the love. We are so grateful and thankful you are here! Stay tuned:)
Eloquent and respectful. Not just of the ship and your fellow travelers; but of each other as well. Excellent video!
Thanks! We really enjoy sharing our lives with you all! Glad you’re coming along. We really want to send out real, transparent and respectful opinions and our experiences. Respect and kindness are wonderful to share and we are happy you’re here with us:}
You both look so very happy.
How many cabins have you bought??? Making one big one???
Appreciate your balanced perspective and well-reasoned opinions, and love your positivity. You guys rock!
Hey! Thanks much! So glad you’re here with us! Appreciate the good vibes:)
Great honest review! Glad you are enjoying yourselves.
Thanks! We are really having a great time and really happy to have you coming along with us:)
My absolute favorite Villa Vie residents and vloggers!
Hey! You got us blushing! Thanks so much, honestly. Messages like yours really make our day. We appreciate your subscription and promise to do our best to make sure you feel it was the right move. Glad you are here:)
It sounds wonderful! I love the older smaller ships. Enjoy!
Hey! Thanks for the comment and coming along! We are really loving this ship and the size and age is perfect for us. So glad you’re here
So glad to see both of you happy and enjoying the experience! Looking forward to your next video! ❤❤
Hey! Thanks so much and we’re happy to have you along. We’re excited about the next one too! Thanks for coming with us:)
Hey! That sounds awesome! We are loving it so far and are so happy to have you coming along!
I love you guys! You have a great attitude and you seem really happy!
Hey! Thanks so much! We really appreciate the love and we are so glad you’re here. Keep the love coming!
Subscribed!
Yay! Thank you! We are trying hard to be transparent and honest and hope you’ll let us know what you think. So happy to have you coming along with us!
That was the best description yet. I don't know what makes this situation so interesting but I'm hooked!😂
Glad you’re hooked! We have a lot more to share. We are loving the ship and all it has to offer. Stay tuned!
Thank you. I appreciate your realistic perspective on this new adventure. Can't wait to see what you have done to your room so far.
We’re excited to share what we’ve done in the near future. Really appreciate your sharing it with us and for your good words.
Love your attitudes and commitment to the process! Keep smiling and sharing.
Hey! Thanks so much and we will keep you informed of our progress! Glad you’re coming along:)
Love your positivity! Happy travels!
Hey! Thanks so much and we’re so glad you’re coming along with us. Your good vibes are much appreciated:)
Enjoying life! What could be better. This is just a reminder to give prayerful thanks for all you have and do. God bless .
Yes! Thank you for that wonderful reminder. We are thankful and really try to keep perspective on how lucky we are. Best to you and God bless you and yours:)
Thank you, please keep sharing your experiences.
Hey! Glad you’re here! We are having fun and enjoying sharing it all with you. Stay tuned!
Just found your channel and thanks for the positive outlook and vibe. I board the Odessey in late January and hope to meet you guys.
Hey! Excited to meet you! We are having fun and hope you’re going to enjoy it as well! See you soon.
Love the older style rather than glitzy modern Vegas style
I don’t
Hey! Us too. Along with the smaller ship. Thanks much!
I love that the ship isn’t more modern. It’s kind of understated.
Hey! Us, too. And smaller!
Thank you! We are so glad to have you along. Love the edges comment. Stay tuned!
Wow... great review,..
Hey! Thanks much:). That’s how we are looking at it, and it’s kinda fun to see where this all evolves. Glad you’re coming with us!
So glad that it's exceeding your expectations!
Hey! Thanks so much and we’re really excited to have you join us!
We totally hear you on the jacuzzi! We hope to have it working soon. They’re definitely working on the pool and such. Thanks for coming along!
Made me want to runaway to sea... and it would be great to have guys like you as neighbours along the way! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Thanks, Barry. We’d love to be neighbors and are so happy to share our experiences with you. Running away is kinda working for us so far! Glad you are here!
So happy for you both. Enjoy your travels and adventures.🎉
Thank you! We are loving it so far, and are glad you're coming along with us!
Been busy watching some of the other onboard influencers videos, your neighbors! Looks nice
Hey! Thanks for coming along! We're excited to be part of the community here. Glad you found us and stay tuned:)
Great video. Thanks for posting. Will be looking forward to future updates on your Villa Vie adventure !!
Thanks! We are excited to share it all with you and glad you're coming along. Stay tuned and thanks for the good words:)
I am glad to hear that you 2 are having a good experience.
Hey! Thanks so much! We’re glad you’re coming with us:)
How do tips work for the crew? Is there a monthly HOA? Thank you so much for sharing! This is exciting.
There is a monthly fee of $5000 over 15 years the total cost to live is over $1 million
Another good video. Keep the content coming.
@julietmarkovich9950 We appreciate you watching!
Yay! Sounds like you had a great first week!
Yes! We really did! Thank you for the good wishes and for coming along!
you guys i am so excited for your adventure and that we can share it with you. Love and hugs from the UK x
Hey! Thanks so much! Where in UK? We love the UK and are so happy to have you here!
Enjoy this adventure...love your positivity
Hey! Thanks so much and glad you’re coming along with us!
You two seem to have a great attitude with everything. Enjoy your newest adventure
Hey! Thanks so much and we’re really trying to enjoy this adventure. It's a great time to have a great attitude!
Thanks for the recap, I've been waiting to hear your first impressions. I can't wait to continue following your journey!!
Thanks for watching! So happy to share with you and so appreciative you’re coming along!
I'm loving your point of view - it's so refreshing! Hope you're settling in well to life onboard - I'm super jealous!
Hey! We really appreciate your kind words and support:). We are really starting to feel like we’re at home. Glad you are coming along with us!
I get giddy with excitement too at the thought of travel & sunshine 🎉🎉 but a very honest appraisal so far guys.
Hey! Thanks for the comment and coming along with us:). We are having fun and enjoying the ride.
New sub, Im in Baltimore neighbor. Happy for you guys on your new adventure. Enjoyed your enthusiasm. Ty
@DeirdreMFox Hello Baltimore! Thanks! We're having a blast!
We are leaving on an 8 day cruise to the ABC islands tomorrow. You're living my dream!
That sounds like fun! We hope you have a great time!! Which cruise line? Thanks for coming with us:)
@@dchiddengems Celebrity Reflection, having a wonderful time! Thank you!
Thanks for the update. Your take on things is so positive and realistic…love that!Looking forward to more of your videos❤
Hey! Much appreciated! We are trying to be balanced and enjoy the ride. It’s a great time for us thus far. Glad you are coming along with us!
I love that you are so positive.
Hey! Thanks for the good words! We are rolling with it and trying to be honest and authentic with our experiences. So glad you are here:)
I would love the older factor. It most likely offers a little more coziness and homey feel than a newer more modern vessel.❤
We hear you on that and love the coziness of her. She’s been around but we are finding her a real home and we love the character. All our homes have been older and while we like the updates, there’s something just right about the ship for us. Stay tuned and thank you!
I am so very happy for you both especially that people have been so accepting! I hope you continue to have smooth sailing! Jennifer
Hey, Jennifer! Really appreciate the good vibes and so happy to have you coming along with us!
Glad you are content, you obviously have the entire ship to roam around in. However the room would make me claustrophobic. Glad to works for you.
Hey! Thanks much. Yes, the room is tight and you can’t stay there too long. We enjoy getting out around the ship and of course ports. Glad you’re here!
Love this episode
@donaldjackson1490 so glad you did, friend!
great update! Thanks guys!
Hey! Glad you’re enjoying it, stay tuned for our next update! We really appreciate your feedback and good vibes:)
Great update! Love your attitude!!
Thanks so much!! So happy to have you coming along with us! Thanks for the good vibes:)
The Ritz Carlton is amazing we did it twice last year
@SFphotocraft so lucky! Looks amazing 🤩
You two really are couple goals!!
Hey! Kindest thing we’ve heard in a long time. Thank you:). We love and respect each other, and are honestly best friends. We know we are lucky and your good words are so appreciated:)
Great video!
We're excited to have you here! Stay tuned and thank you!
I knew the artwork was going! Heehee! 🤣 Thanks for the update gentlemen!
Well, they did say that from the moment they walked into the cabin for the first time. So maybe that's how you knew?
@heidi_d yep so true!
Awesome that your expectations are surpassed.
Thanks! We are happy to share it all with you and glad you're coming along with us! We are trying to stay real and enjoy the ride!
You guys have a great attitude towards villa vie, and what yiy do to the cabin can't wait to see it x
Hey! Really appreciate the good words and are so happy you’re coming along! Stay tuned!
What are you going to do with the cabin when you leave in three-six months? Can you AirBNB it?
Hey! We can rent it, let friends and/or family use it, or let it sit idle. We aren’t sure how long we will be away, so will determine that once we get firmer plans. But renting or giving others use is all available to us. Glad you are here!
I love you guys!!
Thanks for making our day! We really appreciate it and we are so glad you are here!
Good on you two enjoy ❤
Glad you enjoyed it and that you’re coming along!
May I ask where you sourced your cushions on the bed? They look so comfortable!!!!
@carolkeenan857 yes absolutely. It’s from Amazon and the link to our Amazon favs is in the description. You will see it in our New Cruise Essentials list. Let us know if you have any questions.
@@dchiddengems many thanks! Enjoy South America!
Which cabin # did you move out of please?
Can you decorate the cabin as you like? New curtains, art work from home and your own linens?
Hey! Yes, you can. You have to get things approved to be on a ship, but that’s no problem. We will eventually do more, as we figure out what we want and what works. Glad you’re here!
Ignore the trolls, they are jealous it is working out and your expectations are quite reasonable. Thanks for the reviews and most of all ENJOY ❣️
People that caution new residents (who are watching these brand new vloggers- full and drunk on hope and positivity) are actually not trolls. Trolls by definition are negative commenters who have nothing of value to add. They are your classic pot stirrers. Know the difference. Have a blessed day!
@@lizajane1878 Not only are they trolls, they are trolls with a fixation...
I am excited for you.
Hey! Really appreciate your coming along with us! We will definitely take the positive vibes:)
@kathycoutinho5665 gratuities are included but residents are allowed to give extra, and can donate to the crew fund if they wish.
Love your videos. God speed!
Thanks! We are having a blast and so glad you’re coming along with us! Love your good vibes:)
Wishing you safe and happy travels
That’s awesome! We appreciate it! Best to you, too! Glad you’re here!
Good video, keep them coming!
Hey! Glad you’re here. Stay tuned! Thanks for taking the time to write!
Hey, Sarah! We agree. Sounds like they had a great time! We are really loving it so far. Really happy you’re joining us!
I’m interested in the financial aspect. Is there a monthly fee on top of the purchase price?
Hey. Yes, depending upon how you choose to cruise. Because we bought our villa we have monthly fees. Others are different. We don’t get into financial details but you can check out the website of the company if you’re interested. Thanks for coming along !
