If you go to the earliest human settelments, you would find a house bigger than the rest in which the leader probobly lived. Also this anime is the reverse stero type. Usuelly people with magic have to hide and will get executed if they are found out even though they are more powerful obviosly and they could be healers or whatever who help normal people
