I finally figured out why Thetis was so mean to Patroclus and always trying to separate them. Because of the profecy she knew that Patroclus was the cause of Achilles' death. If Patroclus was not in the picture Achilles would have had no reason to fight Hector. She was only trying to protect her son.

This is not racism. It's classism. And it existed like you said, since the dawn of civilization. If you go to the earliest human settelments, you would find a house bigger than the rest in which the leader probobly lived. Also this anime is the reverse stero type. Usuelly people with magic have to hide and will get executed if they are found out even though they are more powerful obviosly and they could be healers or whatever who help normal people

Who began the German war of aggression? Hitler did. Who began the Japanese war of aggression? Japanese emperor Hirohito did. They were allies and massacred too many people. We should not forget, the War criminals are responsible to all the tragedies. Why Japanese did not punish the Japanese emperor? Why Japanese still warship Japanese emperor? And today, Japanese liberal democratic party, they are the descendants of the war criminals, try to brake the Japanese peace constitution which inhibit the war, and let the Japanese people go to war again. And it is the United States that is trying to make Japan start war with China and North Korea for American business. Please, everyone, raise your voice. Choose peace over war!

Hey! So, I really enjoyed the video and, seriously, it's unbelievable that there are less than 100 subscribers here. Btw, I'm from Brazil, and, besides the amazing video, your content is helping me to improve my English. Another thing, you said that is shocking that, although she is so indifferent about social norms and smart as well, she is allowing being disrespected (bullied or whatever) by others. (She is sarcastic and passive at the same time) However, when she's at home, she is very submissive, I mean, she cares a lot about not bother her family. Idk, I had to stop to think about it, mind-blowing.

I think there's alot of beauty to take from this film. Life is fragile but beautiful, making it all the more precious. So what kind of person will you become at your most desperate? Seita and Setsuko chose to stay kind, loving, dignified, respectful, and still allowed themselves moments to be awe inspired and find joy. Life is beautiful, death is part of life so there is beauty to find in it as well. How well did you live even in your worst moments? If love conquers hate, and if love is life, life can conquer death no matter how devastating. As hated as the aunt is, i dont think she was evil or hateful per say. In tough times, as many others would, she was forced to think of herself and her own family's survival instead coming across as passive aggressive to try to deter them. Another interesting detail comes from the original author. He changed some details from his personal experience to address his survivor's guilt. He was not as kind to his own sister who died as he would eat food and not share as much as he should've. He was also saved from an orphanage where his friends would eventually succumb to starvation and disease. He wished he was as kind as Seita, he wished he would've died in those moments instead of live on with the guilt just as Seita did.

I love reading/watching series like PJ that focus on this weird binary idea of pretty/ugly (or stylish/unstylish). That part about empathy hits the nail on the head because sometimes we fail to recognize that the way people present is a performance that reflects their interests and self-identity. We gotta let people express themselves without jumping to conclusions lol.

i personnally gave the book 5 stars, because i don't mind sad endings / character deaths and in this case i already knew the myth, so i knew both were going to die. i really noticed the way you can tell Patroclus is so blinded by his love for Achilles that it makes him an unreliable narrator, i think the Achilles we know of through his words is an idealized version of the glory-obsessed, self centered hero that Achilles actually was. that's also why he's always self depreciating, i guess...

Nicely done video about the essence of the emotional rollercoaster ride that is Frieren! You deserve a lot more subscribers! I've done my part, subscribing to your channel and liking this video! Hope to see your channel grow! I'm not exactly an avid anime watcher, only watching the occasional outstanding one like Attack on Titan or Violet Evergarden, but Frieren got me hooked from the first episode and has become the first anime I started buying and reading the manga after the season was finished because I am much to curious how the story continues. And as I'm currently up to date to the most recent chapter I can only say that the people who just watched the show ain't seen nothing yet, the best is yet to come! I sincerely hope the author will be able to create a perfect ending whenever the time for that comes and that the same team (studio, composer, etc.) will make Season 2 and beyond to keep the high quality up. Did you read the manga or just watched the show?

Your history is the same of mine! Frieren is ahead any other anime, usually animes has some concepts of frieren but not that much on the same anime and compacted in so smalls episodes, I mean, just the second part of ep 11 (kraft) in like 10 minutes talking about philosopy (and nihilism) and teology was soo deep that even others psicological animes can barely achieve the same results even with entire episodes dedicaded !

If you’re not into musicals, you’re not gonna like Hazbin (imo) and that is TOTALLY okay! Even if Helluva makes choices (😮‍💨) sometimes, I love that it’s deeply character focused and melodramatic.
