@@RIFFpost yeah, got mine for like 27$ and sound great :p. The only Bad thing is some sort of shrill overtone That other falangers do not have, although there are people who are looking for precisely that. So it is good .:P can't go wrong , Quality is Outstanding. pots feels good when you turn them
@@inessalazarkopp4579 $27 nice! I suppose I am one of those who like that shrill overtone because I've mixed this thing in many different ways with other pedals and like everything I hear. But yes it is also a nicely built pedal. This pedal will appear in more future videos for sure.
@@RIFFpost Yeah, but they also have this nice jacks behind, so it you have a bunch of them, they can go side by side. The problem is on my board I only have this one that is like this, on the others the cables come from the side, so they actually take up the same space as the Magus when I think about it lol
Analog really is better, I had an EQD Sea Machine and sold it, it just sounded fake. If I could only have one modulation pedal, it would be an analog flanger, you can emulate lots of other effects like chorus and vibrato with it.
I owned the Sea Machine also. It was a very different chorus for sure with a lot going on. I do have the EQD Pyramids flanger, and it can do a lot of wonky sounds but you can get some nice chorus and vibrato out of that one as you mentioned.
I like TC Electronics, but since they were bought out they've been releasing this trash. Corona is great, HOF2 is great, SCF is great. Not a huge fan of these other releases. Already returned one immediately.
This is the only pedal I own from this line by TC Electronics, and at $50 for a BF- 2 clone that is all-analog it's a great deal that sounds pretty good to me. But I hear ya, to each their own.
Pedal demos and wojak is the combo I've needed in my life, thank you
You're welcome, and thank you for enjoying my video!
You cracked the code - graduated, equivalent settings, from zilch to the top. Thanks. Great demo/video! Subbed.
Edit: great playing, too.
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel!
Love your meme approach to demos
Thanks fren!
Thinking about switching from the Ibanez FLMINI for this. It sounds great, but I really miss having a manual knob.
I would say this Thunderstorm is a win-win: you get all analog for just $50, and it not only replicates but improves on the BOSS BF-2 IMO.

@@RIFFpost I bought one because of this video
@@davidgoode7416 Like it? Yea? Nah?
@@RIFFpost I love it
I love this line of pedals by TC, just wish they weren't so big lol
My Grand Magus is by far the biggest pedal I have on my board
and affordable prices too! It's definitely a chonker of a pedal, but a great sounding one

@@lowlink534 Do you use any flat patch cables? Those help me save space!
@@RIFFpost Oh never tried, gonna search for some!
@@lowlink534 They're game changers. Search on Sweetwater for "flat patch cables" and you should find them, even some bundle deals.
Sounds good. Play with the depth, keep the other settings at zero, that would be just fine on an electro-acoustic.
I was checking this pedal.
Also I love purple.
And also I found your video which I love the mood.
Coincidence? :p
Love the sound :)

@@RIFFpost Yea, the Sea Machine wasnt terrible or anything, and it had some nice extra controls, I just didnt like the overall sound.
FLANGER IS PURPLE
also green.. sometimes
@@atom_jack hmm... Joker colors. This is a certified "we live in a society" moment!
Is it an analog flanger or a digital one?
all analog bucket brigade
@@RIFFpost thank you
Not even close to The Real Deluxe Electric Mistress 💫
that costs almost $200 and this one is $49 so yeah not even close
ok, that's all... tc electronic, take my money
I hope you make some cool sounds with it whenever you get it!

Returning gear is such a boomer ass thing. Oh no you bought a $50 rehoused behringer, cut your losses and sell it on
All those series is great, I'm using them and parked some pedals that cost 3 tines more. Cinder, honey pot, rusty fuzz.... Foooking beautiful
