    Doesn't matter which country you are in, you can't beat a bit of thrash and clag, Nice shots.

    That lead locomotive made me think of a Rock Island E8. Btw, is the boxcar at the end of the train providing power for the passenger cars?

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The box at the end provides power to the cars. The A class when in regular passenger service also has a power box car to power the passenger cars.

    Good value, it certainly brought out the buffs, virtually had to "reserve/claim" your spot Brenden? Great to see a "H" class out and about too. Grand looking station Ballarat too, built on gold money in the old days I guess.

      Gold paid for lots of things back in the day. Look at Parliament House here in Melbourne

    Do you have any videos like this with the large variety of locos and freight hauled trains?

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are lots of freight train videos. Search freight train in my video search and lots of options will come up.

    Aside from the video's content, I'm curious to know how you got those chapter divisions into your video. I wonder if my *Power Director* would allow me to try that trick.

      @Neil Forbes i'm sure it would or you can easily make up your own

      Are you talking about e.g. at 0:00, it says Introduction? You just need to type in the video description each timestamp you want to start each section and repeat for each section. Read the video description for an example.

      @@deanl4575 I may try it with a future video, but I was thinking that, in the editing process(before uploading) that I apply chapter points on the video trackin my editing software.

    Yeah 2x Cs and a backward facing S were common in Ballarat before the barbarians sold off our good Victorian tax payer owned broad gauge locomotives. They're all kunce out there! (I'll get back under the gunzel rock I just crawled out from now)

      Particularly on a Sunday when there would be plenty of loco balancing in the mix!

    Nice work Schony, plenty of views & locations there, it looks like the middle road through Ballarat station gets used ? The tracks look shiny, is that the case ? cheers.

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Middle road gets uses mainly for freight. With the increases timetable, platform one and two are in operation at the same time more often as well.
