- SHOULD YOU BUY ZAKU MELEE IN GUNDAM EVOLUTION! I talk through whether it is worth purchasing it or not! And explain the ups and downs over some Melee Zaku gameplay!

As a Sazabi main I’ve come to terms with Barbatos… my terms are a heat hawk to its face then a shotgun blast to the same spot
I don't have any problems with Barbatos on Sazabi tbh. Maybe against smarter opponents that can bait stun juke attempts I'll have more issues but usually I can take them head on.
Sazabi was not how I thought it sounded. #potatopotato

If you want an easier way to differentiate this suit with regular Zaku when naming it, call it Dozle. This is the custom unit of Dozle Zabi, a character from the original anime and all if it’s abilities are in character.

The G maneuver feels way over tuned. Ridiculously fun to run whole teams into the ground at chokepoints though. This is my favorite suit even with very short time playing it!
It's powerful because it's by far the most difficult G-Maneuver to farm in the entire game. Doing damage on ZakuII-M versus a competant team is difficult let alone enough to get the ult.
The counter-play is REAL.

This Zaku is so damn fun, he definitely feels like "beat your head into the wall until the wall breaks" at times and I love it.
I'm already having so much fun with this mobile suit. Too many wins with the Zaku melee, but I feel like Bandai is gonna look into it in the future
Big zaku. Is what I've take to calling it. probably my main tbh i found it incredibly fun to play as long as the enemy backline isn't able to focus you. (so i imagine you'd want sommemthing like exia or lil' zaku to disrupt that)
Don't forget to add these to a playlist on your channel. I'm not saying it needs to be in with the characters guides for free characters. A separate list for mechs unlocked via Coins and Capitol would suffice. I learned a lot from those playlists.
Went up against this thing earlier, was surprised to find that it's attacks basically ignore shields entirely. Best counter I figured out was Hyper Hammer right after Survive ends, but team shooting is the best counter. At lower ranks this guy is a monster, and might start getting some of the same hate as Barbatos in a little while, especially with that ultimate. If they do nerf the ult, I think they might reduce the duration, but not so much the damage or area of effect.
At higher ranks he’s a monster too lol. Sure he can get focused down. But it’s not like the player playing him in higher ranks is an ape and just walking into
5 alone to die.
As a Zaku II Ranged main, I feel that the Barbatos should fear me. 3 dashes and they’re trying to get in close to my close range machine gun, bad move. Now it seems Barbatos should fear all Zakus
I love this character. Took me about 3 matches before I learned how to use it effectively. In my opinion, it's the best brawler in the game. I wanna learn how to use it in less advantageous situations but we'll see.
Favorite and funnest unit for me in the game so far to use in casual,I would never be able to use it properly in ranked tho
ok so Dunmuir, does it do more damage with the axe if you're in melee range aka hitting them with the axe?
It does, theres the melee hit and the shockwave. However, the shockwave ability doesnt have a melee attack component.
How much dmg does the right click absorb?
As a zaku 2 melee main idk if dom troopers get love but we love you dearly

tbh, idk if its worth it or not the 2 bars of dash is a big downside. i was planning to get exia until i realised all my teamates with exia couldnt even get a kill.
i plan to get meele zaku but idk.
I can see his indeed has great potential, my question is he cc immune while in his ult? and does he have dmg reduction(i hope not)?
He is NOT CC immune during ult. Just had a match where I watched him get grabbed by Turn A, so I assume any CC can stop it with good accuracy
He’s CC immune if you’re able to pop his Berserk buff before causing ult, building rage is super important

I legit bought the vice admiral dozle zabi personal mobile suit just so I can beat a barbatos at the same ball game
If anything needs nerfed it has to be the ult. The spin range and damage from it is ridiculous. It should only get at most 5 or 6 spins, not the ability to cleave through the entire enemy team even when they spread out a bit.
That or have the spins tied into the rage mechanic, each spin taking a % of the rage meter to extend it.
We don't need the Big Zam to be mass produced we have this boy.

I’m disappointed that the game doesn’t offer loadout options (CoD) or on the field (Halo Infinite). Can you imagine dropping a squad of Zakus with Federation shields and Hyper Hammer? The RX-78 with a Zeon Machinegun and a Heat Hawk? #whowillsurvive

Does guarding decrease damage taken or is it just a stance?
Decreases by 30% and removes headshots.

I wish we could 'Borrow' them like a free champion rotation, then we can see if we like things for free and then perhaps buy it.
You eventually get the ability to get a unit for free through the Beginner Tutorials. On top of that, units are only like 10 bucks each, and this is a F2P game.

His hp got nerfed from 1200 to 1100
I love how in this gameplay he just looks like he tanks everything but like in game he can’t really tank in a 1 v 2, and that range dmg does little to nothing. Also nerf Unicorn and oversheilds

they nerfed him greatly, but he is still a hell of a fun suit.
Just fight barbatos in general for your ally Sazubi. They’ll thank you.
the kit is fine but the ult damage and mobility is too much, it reminds me of the spin to win ana reaper ult combo but without the need to sacrifice 2 ults.

It definitely lasts too long. As a biased melee lover I enjoy his lower speed and reliance on durability and a counter type move to become a monster. Ult feels kind of braindead though.
Yeah going up against barbatos is challenging but not too difficult
But unless your whole squad can team up against Zaku II melee you will never win one on one, super dumb.
