I just love narrow band weaving! It's fast, it's simple, and it's part of my Baltic Heritage! This video will cover what it takes to get started with the Baltic style of band weaving. I will go over yarn selection, terms and materials you need. Then stay tuned for part 2: Setting Up and part 3: Weaving!

Where did you get your loom? I love how you turn wrap the warp around the pice of wood. My daughteruses an inkle loom, but I really like yours better. Is there a brand or is it homemade?

I got it on Etsy! I have two different sizes- this is the narrower one and I have a wider one that holds 64 threads. is this the 4 inch loom width that you are demonstrating on? How long can your band be reasonably with this loom?

This is the 4” version. I do a warp facing band so it ends up being more like 1” wide. You can make it as long as you want! Just make sure it’s all flat when you wind it around the wood support
