This is a very special video about one of the most famous singers in the world: Dua Lipa! She is widely admired for her natural beauty, as well as her talent as a singer and performer
As for her natural beauty traits, she had a subtle nose change early on in her career, and a more noticeable change in her eyes and possible brow lift later on.
All procedures were done subtly, leaving the singer's appearance totally natural as you can see in the video. You won't want to miss the side by side examples.
Later we her cheek prominence has increased and her lower buccal area looks more gaunt, possibly due to a procedure as explained in the video.
When we move to the next section, we see she also started getting lip filler in 2019 and has a noticeable increase in lower jaw mass, possibly due to a customized jaw procedure. Lastly, she may have had some change to her breasts in 2020 when we look at the photo examples. Dua didn't "need" any surgery. But, if you're going to have some procedures, this is the way to do it. Subtle, enhances her natural beauty and she seemed to know when to stop.

I cringe at the idea that there is a rhinoplasty for people who don't need it. My dad is a doctor for 40 years and he always says that surgery should be the last resort, otherwise you'll have more complications.
I can't believe people are so eager to get surgery for things so subtle that most people won't even notice.
That being said, I'm glad Dua hasn't changed that much because she's naturally gorgeous.

I've heard of people's breathing being affected when a rhinoplasty goes wrong, really not something to do lightly!
My sister took me to a consultation with her and got me to also get a consult just to see what the doctor would say. He recommended some things but eventually said that if it was up to him (the doctor), he wouldn’t do anything. The change would be so subtle and unnecessary that he said it wouldn’t be worth getting a major surgery for it unless it’s something that I really, really wanted to do. I commend doctors like that. As opposed to doctors who recommend any kind of major surgery and feed on others’ insecurities.
Facts. After experiencing sinus surgery due to an expansive cyst, there's absolutely no way I would mess with my nose if I didn't absolutely need to. Far too many delicate structures like tubules that can be affected and never fully repaired or healed. This kind of damage can lead to people feeling like they're drowning every time they lay down. The other popular face surgery that makes me cringe hard is buccal fat removal. The delicate structures within the face should never be messed with unless there is a true defect. That buccal fat is there for a reason, to protect your teeth and facial nerves. And with the way the medical system tends to be, doctors most often won't concede that their work has lead to a painful condition. It's also very difficult to treat facial pain. Facial pain regularly leads to death because the person can't cope, and in our era of anti-opioid propaganda it can be literal hell for people who genuinely deserve that level of pain relief. It's just not a risk worth taking, but unfortunately healthy people have a hard time grasping what the outcome could be.
She looked so unique before, like she could be an it girl from the 90s.

Everyone thinks her face is different due to Lupus and medications but to me, her cheekbones look large and hard (not soft like fat from weight gain or moon face from steroids) and her eyebrows definitely appear higher on her face. Would love to know your thoughts!

She had to have had something done, because she started having that 'mannequin' look - Too symmetrical, too 'perfect', with a coldness to it, less of the features that made her special. I am sad that she got those veneers, ugh. Either way, a great person she is.
It’s her choice what she does to herself but I can’t help but feel a lot of these surgeries were unnecessary. She was super pretty before and still is now. Swan Song from the Alita Battle Angel movie is one of my favourites even though it’s lesser known!

She has been in the spotlight recently and she looks like she does not age. She always claims that her looks are due to a healthy lifestyle and the cosmetics of her own skincare brand. I would love to see how much of that is true.

I think she is a good example of retaining her unique features and yet having finesse plastic surgeries to sharpen her features.
Her natural nose was so cute. I think getting a rhinoplasty was an unnecessary procedure for her. Everyone has got the same nose now in hollywood 😐. I love seeing different nose shapes and sizes. Other then that her surgeries are quite subtle and minimal. The buccal fat removal suits her well. "New rules", "levitating", "physical" are my jams.
I actually couldn't tell much difference, looked like she grew up and got hair and make up. They did a good job of keeping it natural.
The small boobs are from weight loss. My boobs always grew and shrank with weight loss and gain, and there was no excess skin until after I had babies. When I was young and had no pregnancies, my boobs would just get small when I got really thin. Skin sagging or excess skin was not an issue.

Love Dua’s Met Gala look! I disagree on breast reduction - saw her live in concert last year and it was one of the most high energy performances I’ve ever seen! I think this was just natural weight loss and muscle tone. We are the same age and this happened to me too.
Reduction maybe not (boobs are the first to shrink when we lose weigjt), but a lift is very likely. When you lose weight, they don't stay perky!
If she didn't had a reduction, for sure she had a lift. Breasts are basically fat and skin, you can't tone like an arm or leg. not the size itself but the fact that's smaller whitout being saggy.

Yes, she’s so young that her skin has elasticity and while her breasts were large before, they were not massive. I lost about 30 pounds at 20-24 and my breasts retained their perkiness more or less! Her current breasts also don’t have that characteristic “breast lift” shape with roundness, they seem a lot more natural and I would just say it was due to her overall weight loss. I actually love that she hasn’t gotten implants or fat transfer - it’s nice to see celebrities with a small chest that suits their small frame!!

I don’t think she’s had breast reduction. Comparing to myself, I had a similar amount of weight loss, about 17 pounds, and my breasts used to be bigger and now they’re smaller, but they didn’t get saggy.
I think for the size of breasts she had and their size now, it looks very much like mine used to and how they’re now.

I love that she still looks like herself. Just a more sculpted, perfected version. She looks beautiful now. Though, I do wish she stopped at the 2018 version. She would have retained just a bit more of a unique look. The slightly hooded eyes were really fierce and sultry. Brings out her albanian features.

Could you do an analysis of Leni Klum? To me she doesn't look like the photos of her as a child. She started modelling at 16 and that would mean that she has had surgeries as a minor.

I lost weight when I was younger and my boobs got smaller and perkier. The skin can adjust especially when you are young and there's not that much tissue lost.
Was about to comment the same thing . I’m 35 and have lost weight due to illness and stuff , for a young woman , losing weight often is shown in the breasts before anything . I recently saw pics of me in high school where I was only 10 lb heavier and my boobs looked so much bigger I almost couldn’t remember they wrre ever like that because now I’m AA and every bra is too big… but ya even at my age I have no sagging skin , and with all the laser treatments and stuff people can get I would be really surprised if she actually had a breast reduction
I like Dua Lipa. I do think her modifications are tastefully done, yet I also think it's kind of deceptive. That's the whole point of "refining" or "finessing" jobs right lol Either, she is gorgeous and talented !

It blows my mind that celebrities have all these face surgeries then hide away until the swelling and bruising is gone. It seems really painful and also time consuming. It must be difficult to schedule procedures without raising suspicions or getting papped. It seems like they would be too busy for all that.

What I love about what Dua has done look wise is that she owns and has kept her ethnicity. I think that’s something that makes her unique. Her music is innovative but her low, Cher like, voice is what sells a lot of it. I love New Rules and Levitating. And Don’t Start now, which I enjoyed because it was about her ex (that she had together with and broke up with twice). I love celebrity gossip when it pertains to songs that are written about certain people 😂
How has she kept her ethnicity? Every one of her procedures are in line with todays western beauty ideals and make her look more like every other starlet and insta beauty out there. Especially the eye changes and thread lift reduce her ethnic look greatly. I really loved her before. All the changes did was make her look way more generic. Love her music and personality though. She seems like a great person. 🥰
She kept her ethnicity by keeping her hair color (except in 2020ish), brows and olive skin. She doesn't even have typical Albanian/Balkan facial features. People in the Balkans usually have sharp features while Dua has really soft and unique features.

Her breast reduction could definitely be from weight loss. When i was 115lbs, I was a 32D. At 100lbs, I was a 32C. Drastic difference from just a few pounds! And I’ve never had droopy skin lol. That only happens with older skin or more dramatic weight loss. As mid-20s slim women, both me and her can lose weight in the breast area without sagging! Just sharing my personal experience :)

Well, it is nice to see plastic and cosmetic procedures that didn't go too far. To me these things should be because we want little changes, with consideration for how those changes will change over time or effect other features, or to over haul after trauma, never forced or coherced. I hate that so many are told they have to have it to be successful.

You can definitely lose weight and not have any excess skin or sagging.I really doubt that she had chest reduction. Speaking from personal experience, I gradually lost 50 pounds (170->120) through healthy lifestyle and nothing needs lifted lol I did that in my early 30s so her skin likely had even better elasticity than mine.
She's very pretty before and after. Loved her Met look. It's just a shame people undergo surgery just because. Risk of complication, including clots and infection is just too high. But to each their own. Sometimes, we do these when we're young and under pressure. Hopefully, she makes no further revisions.

However, the finesse procedures make me curious: I recently was reading an article about how the type of lens, the angle and distance at which it was shot, and the programming in the digital camera can make the same person on the same day look totally different in different pictures. What are your methods for dealing with this kind of distortion when examining photos. Is this just a problem of amateur photos / selfies / Zoom, or is it something you need to take into account with celebrity photos as well?
Great question! I analyzed over a hundred photos for this analysis and it’s never just the sets I show. Truth be told; I don’t need before and afters just afters to see the surgery but I provide to you all the photo sets so you can “see” it for yourselves. Most photo sets have issues like ; different lighting, angles and lens distortions but I provide the best I can with what I find.

Thank you so much Lorry for another excellent video. I do wonder about breast lifts though, as someone who is considering getting the procedure done. The scarring is quite considerable and this usually makes people hesitate before getting the procedure - it's like with the thigh reduction, the starting point has to be pretty bad for the end result with the massive scar to be considered an improvement. Would someone like Dua with very little loose skin really accept the significant scarring?
