Clarification for what "rare Disney characters" means: Essentially they are costumed characters that aren't part of the normal line up and are only brought out for very rare occasions.

People seems to ignore / forget the fact that even if it was possible to transfer all of human memory and personality into a machine you will still only have made a machine copy of yourself and YOU die like normal... That there is a machine copy of you is not something you will get to experience and YOU are not living on in that machine, because YOU are dead.....

living eternally would suck, think of it, you would witness all your pets, friends, and loved ones die, possibly be subjected to literal decades of torture that you'll feel everything since you couldn't die, and probably be sent to wars as a 'super soldier', be used as a experiment test dummy, and eventually literally see the world end, and you'd just be floating through the cosmos until the end of time in itself. Living for eternity, sounds like more of a curse than a gift.
