Not exactly, Hatred is not exclusive to you, it’s the force that was telling the cruel king and griefer about the future and it actually took you over before you traveled back in time, with this being confirmed as an NPC says “you cannot serve two masters, your true nature will reveal itself in the assembly” it’s not word for word but it uses the colors of the 7 swords and the color of hate, with the assembly being the collection of them all which is confirmed you did in the last loop if you read the dialogue in Greed
The fear one really made me scared, it wasnt the dark ones and hatreds place, the big "PLEASE LEAV--" made my body shake, and I was in solo so this was EXTRA extra scary..
Some tips: There is a 0.1% chance for a gorrilla to drop a card so you can summon your own gorilla to fight for you You can also get a summon for the cruel king (ice boss) if you defeat him 5 time with the guru. There are also cards that grant specific challenges for more exp, like no supergaurd. You can by them for 1 tix from the angry guy, who is just below the first right warp from the start of the game. They also cost no BP There is a challenge known as the pit where you can get free cards and tix for beating floors You can turn off some things you dont like in settings like auto killing underleveled enemies and no distorted music etc. There is a secret boss behind the exit of the anthill behind dense vegitation, i wont spoil any more of that
I've actually experienced it blind firsthand and it was the most funniest thing that's ever happened to me in this game since I'm just practically chipping away at it's health because I forgot to change my build from an extremely nerfed one 😢
Im actually surprised no one has mentioned the inspiration on faith. Like, that was the only thing that was on my mind when i was on the way to fight hatred
I remember when my character just touched the blade and died I typed in the chat and I quote: "am I rlly that dumb" 10/10 update the 4 mind bosses go hard.
I’m *pretty* sure that we touch it on purpose to die... Like. Look at the dialogue and then also the entire dream section. Hopefully not but I feel like that is where it was going.
I could tell this chapter would be more high effort than the last because it took a lot longer to develop. in comparison to the 2nd chapter that got released one month after the game's release
fun fact: the turkey can pull out a gun and 1 shot you. Thats right. It happened to one of my friends while we were playing. the gun dealt 40 damage and it was unavoidable
I just like how at the part where you're about to enter the mansion, there's stuff that just reminds you of the game mechanics which was especially helpful for me since i havent played the game in a few months
you forgot to say how GOOD THE SOUNDTRACKS OF THIS GAME ARE and that is something you can say for all the chapters that are in this masterpiece of a game
i just came from finishing the chapter 3 and god me and my friends were stuck on that damn boss mi abuelo y sus amigos peleandose contra el diavlo en el cerro : (i also loved the last part since it reminded me of Yume Nikki)
btw, there is an ally called the “Cruel King”, which has 20 health, and does considerable amounts of damages to opponents, but its costs 12 sp💀. The only way to unlock this is going to the guru and defeating the king 6 times.
Demo 3 mind world was honestly something I didnt expect To be on ROBLOX, it was too deep for the 7 year old blox fruit players and that’s why it gets dislikes.
i think chapter 3 might be my favorite chapter out of all of them (even this early), the story is amazing, the fights are fun, the boss battles are INCREDIBLE, the environment is SUPERB, genuinely, this is the best chapter.
Keep in mind there are 4 more swords left to go. And we have already reached the depths of phycological self analisis on the 3rd blade. 3RD. So the lord highest above the skies and heavens knows what the dev team are cooking, maybe we should prepare the fire extinguishers if the fire gets out of hand.
one thing about summons: theres a second summon where u summon the cruel king from ch1, you get this card by beating cruel king 5 times at the guru (an area that lets you refight final bosses thats located at bizville airport). he basically goes through post death character devslopment as well
Small mistake on 5:03, Venom Shank does 3 damage and poison, but you had the cure card equipped which has -1, but honestly not much of a big deal. cool video! Edit: I’m the small mistake, didn’t know the nerfed it.
12:56 that segment looks to be inspired by the Giygas boss fight in Earthbound. The sprite also seems to resemble Giegue's appearance in EarthBound Beginnings :0
I think its really cool how the only other 2 summons you can get before chapter 3 either by complete accident or just wanting to see all of cruel king's dialogue after you beat him
I use red n' blue with a medic build to bash through (no rhyme intended) its such a good feeling to use a 3 stacked up charge card on them and a stacked cure card, plus def up, BASH THROUGH EM' ALL.
For what i see when playing Each chapter it has their own unique enemies, mechanics and ofcourse story and design, it is amazing and im glad you found/discover and play block tales ❤ Chapter 3 is peak!
Try blood and iron. It's like guts and blackpowder but with real players, and the guns are more nuanced. The player counts are extremely low, so I was thinking someone like you could let a new audience to this game. And in general you might like it.
Fun fact: If you rematch cruel king 5 times in the old guru place, you get the ability to summon him. Basically costs 6 BP to equip the ability and 12 Sp to use.
@adogewithwifi1652 well, there is a gorilla summon, dropped by a gorilla (although it's a 1/1000 chance). As for requirements, I think its 2 bp to equip and 4 sp to use.
They’ve changed both the BP and SP cost from 6 BP and 12 BP to 4 BP and 9 SP. Change your comment if you want, or not. I’m just saying that they’ve lowered the cost.
In a party, if someone is about to die you can save them! For example, if they have 10 Hp and they take 12 damage, the damage will slowly happen over time. So in short you will be on a timer to quickly choose what you will do. If you use cure, that person will survive with 3 hp. Really cool feature!
You forgot to mansion that the vampires and tree golems take extra fire damage per turn, which is quite helpful. Also letting a skeleton die to fire damage prevents it from respawning. So having fire attacks is incredibly useful
hatred is actually a reference to geygis from earthbound and is in general a love letter to earthbound (pk thunder, pray instantly killing under 20 hp similar to how its used against geygis, the boss itself being some kind of red misty thing similar to geygis) He's also ungodly difficult on hard mode with his bullshit 30 damage thunder There's also two additional summons with the cruel king (obtainable guaranteed from defeating the cruel king 5 times in the guru's place where you can refight bosses) and the gorilla (rare drop chance from gorilla)
Spoilers: the jason that you seen at the screen is not the final boss. Its shame that we though we gonna fight him and steal the ghostwalker but turns out it was "face againts emotional" We still dont know where he went after we kill him.
I honestly think the addiction of the “extra part” of the chapter when we touch the ghostwalker was a bit exaggerated... the boss was giving me serious troubles and was completely quitting the sense of the game... but it was still cool :)
I’m pretty sure we’re suicidal in chapter 3. Like. Talk to Kyoto. Then you touch the Ghostwalker after already knowing it will kill you. Then all of your fears... Yeah.
There are actually 2 other allies you can get in Block Tales, if you go to the Guru and fight Cruel King 4-5 times, you can get him as an ally. He cost 4 BP and 9 SP, he has 30 health, and two attacks. Septer Hit (Sorry if this is inaccurate, I haven't played Block Tales in a few days), which hits one enemy and deals 5 damage, his other attack is Septer Strike, where he hits all the enemies on screen for around 4 or 5 damage, and freezes all enemies for one turn. The other ally is the gorilla summon, he cost 2 BP and (I forgot how much sp lol), I haven't seen much gameplay of it, I've seen one attack, being punch, it deals 2 damage. The card is only viable because due to its small drawbacks. You can get it from a gorilla for a very VERY rare chance.
BlockTales is what happens when an actual gamer -who knows what gamers want due to their own experience with games- end up making their own game. It becomes good because the gamer knows what makes a game good from their experience gaming.
Eclipse the isle has all of your friends like the 8 snowmans and the bonekeeper its like your favorite games like sols rng and acrane lineage PLEASE THE ISLE NEEDS YOU TO SAVE IT
Theres also a cruel king and gorilla summon. Cruel king costs 9 sp, has 30 hp and 2 moves. First being scepter smack (im pretty sure lol) which is a single hit that does 5 dmg (I dont know if it pierces defence) and 2nd is scepter strike which does 5 dmg to all enemies on screen. the way to get cruel king is by defeating him in the guru 5 times. Gorilla costs 3 sp and has 10 health with one move simply called punch that does 2 dmg. the way to obtain it is by killing gorillas with a 1/72 chance

Glazing Block Tales but hasn’t reviewed Bowl Tales 😔

Some tips:
There is a 0.1% chance for a gorrilla to drop a card so you can summon your own gorilla to fight for you
You can also get a summon for the cruel king (ice boss) if you defeat him 5 time with the guru.
There are also cards that grant specific challenges for more exp, like no supergaurd. You can by them for 1 tix from the angry guy, who is just below the first right warp from the start of the game. They also cost no BP
There is a challenge known as the pit where you can get free cards and tix for beating floors
You can turn off some things you dont like in settings like auto killing underleveled enemies and no distorted music etc.
There is a secret boss behind the exit of the anthill behind dense vegitation, i wont spoil any more of that

6:10 I wish they gave the turkey more health just so people can see it pull out a gun, it dies too fast honestly.
I killed it extremely fast but WHAT IT HAS A GUN ??
@@shampy6091yeah im pretty sure if they’re low and dont die, he “has had enough” and pulls out a GUN. It happened to me at least lol
@@shampy6091 he specifically pulls out a blunderbuss i think
I've actually experienced it blind firsthand and it was the most funniest thing that's ever happened to me in this game since I'm just practically chipping away at it's health because I forgot to change my build from an extremely nerfed one 😢

THIS GAME IS SO FUCKING PERFEEEECT
My reaction to
Chapter 1: this game is amazing
Chapter 2: this game us peak
Chapter 3: *_unhinged screaming of joy_*
In the mind scape it’s literally a reference to Omori, YUME Nikki, and FAITH. And also smth else. I love it all 😭
Im actually surprised no one has mentioned the inspiration on faith. Like, that was the only thing that was on my mind when i was on the way to fight hatred
I'm pretty sure the hatred boss fight is literally just giygas from earthbound, even the prayer card has bonus text if you use it during the fight
I remember when my character just touched the blade and died I typed in the chat and I quote: "am I rlly that dumb"
10/10 update the 4 mind bosses go hard.
I’m *pretty* sure that we touch it on purpose to die... Like. Look at the dialogue and then also the entire dream section.
Hopefully not but I feel like that is where it was going.
DECAYING WINTER(day 51) PLAY AFTER UPDATE
I SUPPORT YOU
There's an update?!
WE STAN DECAYING WINTER
Yessss!
Gonna tear it apart for no good explanations on anything
There is actually 3 summons currently in game. One for the cruel king one for red and blue and one for a monkey which is a 1/1000 drop.
Eclipse I think there was a post about a discord for members 3 years before hmm
Fun fact : block tales was finally seen with a peak of 20k consecutive players
I think even 21k
23k*
i just came from finishing the chapter 3 and god me and my friends were stuck on that damn boss
mi abuelo y sus amigos peleandose contra el diavlo en el cerro :
(i also loved the last part since it reminded me of Yume Nikki)
btw, there is an ally called the “Cruel King”, which has 20 health, and does considerable amounts of damages to opponents, but its costs 12 sp💀. The only way to unlock this is going to the guru and defeating the king 6 times.
Oh now i understand why everytime i go rematch cruel king dialogue got reset
Demo 3 mind world was honestly something I didnt expect To be on ROBLOX, it was too deep for the 7 year old blox fruit players and that’s why it gets dislikes.
yeah i love playing block tale and then suddenly BAM! Omori jumpscare!
there's actually more summons than just red and blue. you can also use the ice king... and for some reason a monkey
gaur summon when
Brain dead child when?
i think chapter 3 might be my favorite chapter out of all of them (even this early), the story is amazing, the fights are fun, the boss battles are INCREDIBLE, the environment is SUPERB, genuinely, this is the best chapter.
eclipse not roasting the tower defence slop is a miracle.
Fr. We're all cooked. 😭
I agree, i felt like i was watching a movie when playing demo 3
Ngl this is peak but people should stop calling it an "underrated" game
Compared to other games, yes, it kinda is, even when Block Tales isn’t as replayable
If anything it's kind of overrated. (Which I don't think is true but it's far from underrated, it's just underplayed compared to...OTHERS...)
2:47 like the undead pigs in Angry birds RPG
eclipse there's actually two summons! if you beat cruel king 5 times you get to call him for help
Seems like the Red n' Blue call in was buffed. No idea when exactly, but it seems to have sorta resolved the issues you mentionned here. That's cool!
1:13 demo 2 is actually peak because kyoko is in it
one thing about summons: theres a second summon where u summon the cruel king from ch1, you get this card by beating cruel king 5 times at the guru (an area that lets you refight final bosses thats located at bizville airport). he basically goes through post death character devslopment as well
Small mistake on 5:03, Venom Shank does 3 damage and poison, but you had the cure card equipped which has -1, but honestly not much of a big deal.
cool video!
Edit: I’m the small mistake, didn’t know the nerfed it.
no, im 99% sure they nerfed it to 2 damage
Im pretty sure its nerfed to 2 damage
venomshank isn't impacted by damage modifiers or defense, it *ALWAYS* deals 2 damage
12:56 that segment looks to be inspired by the Giygas boss fight in Earthbound. The sprite also seems to resemble Giegue's appearance in EarthBound Beginnings :0
I love how it went from a guy thats cold, to a fucking plant and now to depression
Block tales demo 1 and 2: ahah fun old roblox rpg
Block tales demo 3: Deppresion
I FUCKING LOVE BLOCK TALES!!!!!!
Fire games get low player counts sadly, at least we got Eclipse to cover them out.
low player count? I just saw the game have 25k players
Aseprite’s pixel art is genuinely immaculate
Eclipse being positive there's something FISCHY around here??
12:44 WOW that artstyle reminds me of the rpgmaker game Space Funeral!! :D
I think its really cool how the only other 2 summons you can get before chapter 3 either by complete accident or just wanting to see all of cruel king's dialogue after you beat him
In this middle of this insane chapter they still managed to drop a random ass turkey
W
I use red n' blue with a medic build to bash through (no rhyme intended) its such a good feeling to use a 3 stacked up charge card on them and a stacked cure card, plus def up, BASH THROUGH EM' ALL.
I find it funny how the devs made a twist villain more obvious than the Arkham knight
For what i see when playing Each chapter it has their own unique enemies, mechanics and ofcourse story and design, it is amazing and im glad you found/discover and play block tales ❤
Chapter 3 is peak!
Try blood and iron. It's like guts and blackpowder but with real players, and the guns are more nuanced. The player counts are extremely low, so I was thinking someone like you could let a new audience to this game. And in general you might like it.
Eclipse you gotta review paper Mario ttyd next :D
Demo 1: Cold fella
Demo 2: sentient plant
Demo 3: Yourself
You are a masterpiece Elipse
saw the vid, clicked, realized its about a game i havent touched a while, closes vid, plays game, watches vid ✅
8:29 The king waits for you in his cold purgatory.
Fear was trying to help and we just killed him
There’s also a cruel king summon btw, he can freeze enemies too I am sure
good job for devs making good game without major controversy
*cough* brickbattler *cough*
Fun fact: If you rematch cruel king 5 times in the old guru place, you get the ability to summon him. Basically costs 6 BP to equip the ability and 12 Sp to use.
Thank you so much for this tip I genuinly would never find this are you aware of any more types of summons u can obtain
I’m just saying that they’ve lowered the cost.
this update made me shed a tear its so good
I'm glad i was looking at games to play when demo 3 released
I got to play it basically right as it released
2:40 funny that this dynamic is also present in Angry bird epic which is pretty cool
using dynamite on zombies actually prevents them from coming back
Love the xenoblade chronicles 2 soundtrack as someone who just finished all the xenoblade games like 4 days ago
Amazing video as always , but calling ghostwalker the ghost blade hurt something in my soul.
In a party, if someone is about to die you can save them! For example, if they have 10 Hp and they take 12 damage, the damage will slowly happen over time. So in short you will be on a timer to quickly choose what you will do. If you use cure, that person will survive with 3 hp. Really cool feature!
14:10 so much defeating 8 snowmans
i went into demo 3 expecting just funny spooks and halloween shenanigans and ended up questioning my entire life when i beat it instead
The final boss was so unexpected that I didn’t know it was the final boss until the end screen
With this sacred treasure I summon-
Cruel King, Geezer Freezer
You forgot to mansion that the vampires and tree golems take extra fire damage per turn, which is quite helpful.
Also letting a skeleton die to fire damage prevents it from respawning. So having fire attacks is incredibly useful
I did not expect the
mind part of the demo
hatred is actually a reference to geygis from earthbound and is in general a love letter to earthbound
(pk thunder, pray instantly killing under 20 hp similar to how its used against geygis, the boss itself being some kind of red misty thing similar to geygis)
He's also ungodly difficult on hard mode with his bullshit 30 damage thunder
There's also two additional summons with the cruel king (obtainable guaranteed from defeating the cruel king 5 times in the guru's place where you can refight bosses) and the gorilla (rare drop chance from gorilla)
Spoilers: the jason that you seen at the screen is not the final boss. Its shame that we though we gonna fight him and steal the ghostwalker but turns out it was "face againts emotional"
We still dont know where he went after we kill him.
I just want floor 29 to be buffed it’s just fear by itself
pov eclipse discovers passion (block tales is still a good game)
there is also a lot of character development and lore through npc dialogue you might have missed
8:35 cruel king has aoe and is a summon after beating him 6 times in nirvana
Sooo Eclipse is just basically saying that he likes undertale/deltarune
I honestly think the addiction of the “extra part” of the chapter when we touch the ghostwalker was a bit exaggerated... the boss was giving me serious troubles and was completely quitting the sense of the game... but it was still cool :)
I’m pretty sure we’re suicidal in chapter 3.
Like. Talk to Kyoto. Then you touch the Ghostwalker after already knowing it will kill you.
Then all of your fears... Yeah.
man i saw the update release in the discord now this peak
Aw hell nawh why is the phightifg babies here😭
@@orangeslicerz We’ve gone from Phighting due to a lack up updates.
BlockTales is what happens when an actual gamer -who knows what gamers want due to their own experience with games- end up making their own game. It becomes good because the gamer knows what makes a game good from their experience gaming.
My internet is slow, but I knew, by pure instinct, eclipse was talking about blocktales demo3
3:52
no one mentioning how mosquitos already healed the damage they dealt back in Demo 2
