Hey, admin for the game here: we are sorry. We will change the game to Sols RNG 2 immediately. PS. Thanks for the feedback. There are some intentional design decisions but some of your criticisms are relevant and we'll try to fix that stuff. Potion Recipes: yeah, I agree. It would be nice. Charges on abilities: gain one charge per room. I think this is explained in the tutorial Burner Droids and Cryos can be defeated with swords, btw. Cryo droids telegraph their attacks, you only have to scroll out so your camera shows the icicles above you, and not be in the way when the cryo dies. For burner droids, circle counter clockwise around it, and the fire won't hit you. Also there's no HP scaling on enemies, don't have to worry about that in co-op. Revives were a contentious topic, since it's a rogue like and single player would be a lot less appealing if co op allowed revives... I don't think revives fit the game (very aware this isn't for everyone) Thanks for checking the game out!
The way I've seen other roguelikes with co-op handle revives is to revive the people at the end of the world/section with either little to no hp and/or a bit less of their gear. Dunno how that would be implemented into RGD without breaking the balance even further, though.
i would suggest an item, maybe a 100 or so circuits (i do not know how much it should be) that can be used either to save yourself from lethal damage in a singleplayer run or revive a teammate in a co-op run so it will still allow revives while also being useful in solo. this is simply just an idea tho

i've been playing this game for ages and i can provide more insight: -enemies like the burner droid can be countered by running in circles around the inside of the enemy and exploit the slow turning speed to not get hit -after you beat the game once on a difficulty above casual, you unlock daily challenges with unique modifiers that award crowns which you can spend on 3 new classes -if you beat a world without taking damage you unlock alternate versions of the world that have a chance of appearing -beating the game also unlocks ascension levels, which are extremely high difficulties that go from 1-15, progressively getting harder.

Cryo droids can be killed with timing. Everytime they make a noise, you know they've created an icicle above where you are in that moment. You just need to make sure not to stand where you once were (Which is easier to do against them as they're slow.) You should also be trying to kill them at least a split second after they've spawned one so that you can still walk out of the way of it without getting hurt. (8:15: Some enemies can be a lot easier with ranged weapons, but this one scenario was still doable without them. If you slash them as you go to the right and jump over, you could try to repeat this over and over without getting burned. Most of the droids or layouts don't need a ranged weapon to get past, though some can be easier with one.)

so basically as someone who has played this game a ton, ability charges are from each room completed. There are 100 rooms, with a gimmick from the rooms 92-99, where you would have to complete the world in less than 3 minutes or so, followed by a boss (which can be REALLY EASY or REALLY HARD) (cough cough circuit breaker cough cough) Theres also a neat interaction with Friendly droids, where if you kill 3, you get sent into the darkness, which mimics a world, but, well, darkness. Theres a miniboss at the end instead of a shop, where you literally just hold S and A (or D) and the guy has minions but nothing really challenging. killing him lets you go to alters, and instantly gives you Bat Wings, which gives 50% of the room number as strength. These altars are like the forge and alchemy things, but you can buy sins like Pride or Envy. You also have to spend your own health for it, as well as a sword. A thing you could do is stall using a class which profits from potions, and prioritize abate + ichor, which are warping potions. Drink every single backwards warping, and you hopefully will be able to infinitely stall. Along with the sin Greed, you are able to get infinite circuits pretty easily, as Greed gives extra circuits when entering a special room, but it depends on how much you have. Then you can easily get infinite stats, basically, though theres a cap of 99 walkspeed, 99 jumpower, 999 strength, 999 defense, that sorta thing. Theres a cool sword if you go behind world 1 after room 100, which costs 666 health to buy. It literally does infinite damage, its a little unfair. Another sin, Wrath, has an interesting thing of where you use it in a solo game's boss, it instantly kills the boss and has 10 more rooms of the game, mostly being nothing, but includes one friendly droid and (I think) wrath sword, which is the one that does infinite damage. After every single hitless on worlds, you will get a vault and extra new world to play on, spicing things up again. Theres many gimmicks with most worlds, like midnight casino, you gamble, that one replacement for lush canopy, mushrooms instead of berries. Theres a ton of experienced player things, too, for example: Ascension! Ascension is just the difficulty of the game increasing with each ascension you unlock, getting it after you win for the first time. There are 15 ascensions, each with exponentially growing difficulty, like ascension 14, all enemies have modifiers . this basically is my knowledge on the game that I want to share, eclipse is NOT reading allat
I like your description, but I want to add more simplistic detail so that anyone who isn't familiar with the game that is currently reading can get a better idea of how the game works and how to play it. First off, without any shenanigans there are only 10 worlds (10 rooms per world, meaning there's 100 rooms total). The last world is called "Droid HQ" and in the second room there is a set of lasers that put on a timer to beat the rest of the world or else you die. These lasers can be avoided through a lot of means, the most common of which usually include getting on top of the side wall. I said there are only 10 worlds without any shenanigans, but some items/abilities have a gimmick where you can go back or forward a world. This means there can be more than 10 worlds and 100 rooms and, while usually this doesn't change much in a regular playthrough, some runs abuse hopping back worlds to get tons of circuits, items, buffs, etc (called "stall runs"). Second off is the interaction you mentioned with the friendly droids. It is important to note a few things: Only killing 3 SHOPKEEPER friendly droids sends you to the special darkness world. You can kill as many friendly droids you encounter outside of the shopkeep as you want, but be wary as killing a friendly droid sets your health to 20 or, if you were to kill another one when below 40 hp, would only take half of your hp. Some classes avoid taking damage from killing friendlies, but most don't. The upside to killing friendly droids is that they usually give tons of cash. An important thing to let newer players know is that the 10th room in a world is called the "special room." The special rooms include the regular shop, a laboratory which sells berries and has a cauldron to brew potions, a forge that sells gems which can be used with the anvil to buff weapons (weapons can only be buffed once unless stated otherwise), and a library which sells tomes and spells as well as unlocks mana generation. Special rooms always have no enemies in them and also heal the player a set amount whenenver they enter them. There are certain special rooms that are different from the rest, though. Either requiring something to be done beforehand or only being available at specific times. This includes the altar which you get after beating the darkness world (elaborated on after this), the "final shop" which is the last shop right before the final world which sells 4 set items for 100 circuits each and a set sword for free, and a "wrath shop" you get access to by warping backwards in the first world after room 100 and beating the "respite" world. The wrath shop sells a single set sword for 666 hp. Altars take place of a special room but, instead of exchanging circuits for items, you exchange your hp for items. Altars include sin items which can't really be found anywhere else that give a huge buff with very little to no downside most of the time and a sword. This is really where most of the skilled players go to get ridiculously strong ridiculously easy. There is another room to talk about which is the vault. The vault appears on the 9th room of most worlds provided you meet the conditions. The conditions are either that you beat the whole world without taking any damage, or you beat rooms 1-8 in a set time limit. The vaults give you 4 total items, 3 being random consumable or utilities and 1 being a golden circuit which gives you circuits equal to half the room number when used. All of these items are free, but you can only take one unless you have a special class ability. Not all worlds can give you access to the vault even if you do meet the conditions, but most typically do. Beating a world without taking a hit for the first time not only guarantees you the vault, but it also gives you access to an alternate version of the world. This gives you more variety and they all typically have their own special gimmicks to keep the game interesting. I'd also like to inform people that there is a glossary for all the droids and all the modifiers in the settings (I don't know if this is available in the lobby, but I assume it is). This includes the droids stats and what the modifiers change about the droid. You don't need to read them to figure out what they do, but it's a good thing to remember in case you ever get confused about how a specific droid or condition works. Ascensions are basically rules set on the player to make the game harder. You unlock ascensions by beating the normal mode and then beating that ascension to unlock the next one. The previous ascension rules carry over to the next ascension which means it isn't just a single set rule each time. After beating ascension 15, you unlock a special character. And that is basically all. The rest of the game is pretty self explanatory and theres only a few small things I missed such as weaknesses and hazards, but these are the main factors. Think of this as a sort of guide for new players which details all the basics.

Hey Eclipse, next you should try out this new game called Your Bizarre Adventure! It's a fun game with weekly updates and incredible game balancing. I'm sure you'll love it
Charges are based on the amount of rooms you clear. And I believe the ice guy drops icicles every four seconds, and you need to time your attacks with walking away. They typical spawn the icicles above you ahead of time, and they even cast a shadow in high enough Roblox graphics quality. Anyway, great video!
for cryo droids, i recommend looking up to dodge the spikes, or just look at the shadow if you’re cool like that for burner droids, move in a circle around the droid and the flame won’t touch you
Though you do need to brew potions or find in shop or go to wiki to figure out what potions do it actually shows the recipes in games and not just on the tip board if u hold e on one with one of the potion recipes u will be brought to a recipe page the same one that if you click settings then dictionary then instead of checking all the bots below click the button that’s says potion recipes!
ok so basically the cryo droid spawns icicles in the air and theres a count down on its torso, when it reaches 0 the icicles drop in the place they were spawned, if they die and theres icicles already spawned they just auto fall when they die so you basically have to back up immediately. as for the flamethrower droid although a ranged weapon is helpful circling them will help it not deal damage to you. its a really good game when you get the hang of it and I'm really happy you unexpectedly did a review on it.

Listen, DW's tutorial is anything but fantastic, but this is selling it short. IIRC the tutorial teaches you about attacking, blocking, parrying, crafting, healing, selling items, armor pieces, and how to increase your attributes. A bit more than just "Attack and run"
@@EclipseGameplays No point in a tutorial if I still genuinely require TH-cam to learn what the game is and why any of it is desirable to play
You don't actually... they gave you a general direction and for you to fuck around and find out
You know... like a rogue-like game.
Go out and fucking die a lot until you are better.
That the fun no? When you are buying a game you must have at least read the description to know what you are going in for.@@Elijah42069

I wasn't expecting to see rgd being covered on this channel, but hey, I'm glad that you liked the game.
so basically as someone who has played this game a ton, ability charges are from each room completed. There are 15 ascensions, each with exponentially growing difficulty, like ascension 14, all enemies have modifiers
.
this basically is my knowledge on the game that I want to share, eclipse is NOT reading allat
I read through the entirety of your text cause I felt bad for you pouring out your heart and soul typing that text, glad to see another rgd player!
Think of this as a sort of guide for new players which details all the basics.
glad my favorite video gaming experience Robot Random is getting recognized
A roguelike is fun! Who would've thought!
Someone even vaguely comparing a rougelike game to Slops rng hurts. Glad you like it tho, this game is so so fun.
No way i was just in a middle of a run while playing this game (that i got back into recently) and eclipse just uploads video on the game im playing, which is a surprise because this game isn’t that popular. Definitely gonna watch after im done my run
Update: died 30 mins in, room 65, to a cryo droid 2.0 in casual mode as cultist.
tbh casual isnt needed, its prob better to train with normal imo
(not forcing duh)
@@redactalternative5833pretty sure casual is best at point grinding (dunno why people would grind points on casual instead of playing the game all the way through but still) just die in the late game and you get max points

I love this era of eclipse actually playing good games, keep it up!
Evil ahh Eclipse for the first 6 minutes of the video was very welcome. Would love to hear from him again
thanks eclipse for making a video on this i used to play this with my friends near the end of lockdown and i was SHOCKED how little players it has
its like sol rng except not related in any possible way beyond the vague concept of "Randomness"
Been a randomly generated droid fan forever glad this game finally getting some love it’s underrated
This game is like a bowl that is part of a weird set of bowls, but because of the set of bowls people dont want to eat out of the bowl
i am happy that you made a video on this game, i played it a long time ago and loved it.
We got evil eclipse today
Thanks so much for bringing more people to this game. I’ve been a viewer for a long time and having you put rgd on the spotlight was nice as the game was losing a bit of its playerbase. Good luck in future videos
Evil eclipse:
i was playing with him at that time and oh i did NOT know he was a RGD enthusiast because he played real good
you should discuss this game called Blox Fruit next, it tops this game in every conceivable way with its masterful gameplay, character design, visuals, and overall game design !!
Don't forget it also has RNG elements that far surpass of both RGD and Sol's RNG

yo this video is actually hella funny ngl, the amount of sarcasm is ridiculous that i cant tell when hes srs.

God help anyone who didn’t figure out it was sarcasm 😭
AAA FINALLY an actully good eclipse video he finally learned what makes a good game
I can't wait for all the ddos comments, that didn't understand that eclipse is being sarcastic.
All potion recipes randomly appear as tips on shop walls, so given enough playtime you'd learn them all without the use of a wiki
Comparing RGD to Sol's RNG doesn't really work when RGD has existed years earlier than Sol's.
SHH, it's a ploy to lure in those braindead children to get nurtured and recovered from that shit
for cryo droids, i recommend looking up to dodge the spikes, or just look at the shadow if you’re cool like that
for burner droids, move in a circle around the droid and the flame won’t touch you
they should add auras to RGD
Yes! and make sure you can only get them by gambling with robux!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
@@Hexagons69420 make sure to add flashy effects upon getting them to get the players addicted
each class is an aura and you use points to gamble for them instead of buying them yourself
@@mrhampter4216 Yes! But only with gambling and paying gives higher chances!!!
THANK YOU for making a video about one of the most underrated gems on roblox
If only we got less games like this and more masterpieces like Sol RNG... 😔
Though you do need to brew potions or find in shop or go to wiki to figure out what potions do it actually shows the recipes in games and not just on the tip board if u hold e on one with one of the potion recipes u will be brought to a recipe page the same one that if you click settings then dictionary then instead of checking all the bots below click the button that’s says potion recipes!
a good game?? But eclipse! You're supposed to review bad games!
randomly generated androids is such an underrated game, glad to see it’s getting the recognition it deserves

This video in a nutshell:
Good = Bad
Bad = Good
This game is older than sold rng it came out before any rng game existed. (I love this game with most of my heart❤️)
You get an ability charge for every stage btw
as an RGD player, im happy you made this video :)
Eclipse's alter ego, Lunar came out and made this video.
Randomly generated droids is a favorite of mine
Finally, Eclipse TSB
ok so basically the cryo droid spawns icicles in the air and theres a count down on its torso, when it reaches 0 the icicles drop in the place they were spawned, if they die and theres icicles already spawned they just auto fall when they die so you basically have to back up immediately. as for the flamethrower droid although a ranged weapon is helpful circling them will help it not deal damage to you. its a really good game when you get the hang of it and I'm really happy you unexpectedly did a review on it.
yoo he FINALLY talked about this game its so underrated last time i played it had like 300 people average
never thought eclipse would play this game
you can hover over items to see what they do and their description.
Including potions.
eclipse: aw dang it, these days i'll learn
game finnaly getting some recognition
You can kill the burner by circling it with a meelee and the cryo deaths is a skill issue
Also you get one charge after completing a room
when the droids are randomly generated
