- I am gluing a broken headstock/neck of a brand new Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50s (Vintage Sunburst) back together, using PVA glue.
After gluing, I fill the cracks in the finish with Solarez "I can't believe it's not laquer" grain filler.
Items Used:
PVA Glue (I guess it's the same as Titebond 3? It's Baufan Holz-Leim D3)
Ponal PUR Spachtel (Epoxy Wood Filler)
Microballs / Glass Microspheres (sometimes also called Microballoons)
Surgical Tubing / Latex Tubing
Wood Clamps
Alcohol Ink (Red)
Solarez ICBINL Grain Filler

"No guitar wall is complete without a Les Paul" says Georg as he masterfully covers the one that's already there! ;)
':) that's only a copy of an ESP Eclipse type of guitar, it's very different I promise
This guy deserves way more views and subscribers! By far one of the most entertaining channels i've come across.
The tubing is a smart idea!
Some fancy nail lamp instead of crazy glue! Glass spheres? Again never heard of it. Somehow you bring more info than hundreds videos of the same topic. I've glued headstock break once (strat type, believe it or not) and it was bad. Good job!
Thank you so much :) I found the glass spheres at a epoxy resin shop, as an additive. I think they're from the world of repairing surfboards etc
