This came out great. I like the finish and the body shape. Pickups sound very good. Congratulations.
I’ve seen some higher end builders like suhr or mario that use paulownia for bodies use maple dowels for bridge mounting points and etc to avoid tearout due to the softness of the wood
Nice build. Love the round-over body edge
Very cool project. You did so many things I have either done or wanted to, in one project.
Wow! Congratulations.
I just finished a strat for my grandson, a cheap internet purchase that I adorned with after market parts including Artec lipstick style pickups. I was particularly impressed with the neck pickup sound.
I'm going to do a round over like yours on my next one. Thanks!
Great job! Carvin holdsworth vibes!
Thank you for the final thoughts after the build, you brought up a lot of interesting points about paulownia bodies builds nobody talks about. I have one i got from gfs for $25 waiting for a build project like this. You gave me something to think about before i get started on it…
I LOVE that headstock shape!!
Wow amazing dude! Lovely shape body nice work
it turned out to be a great sounding guitar!
Nice work, dude! It looks great. I love the tone you get with those funky pickups.
🤯 Extreme indeed! I held my breath way too many times throughout the video 😅 Kudos to you man! Special points for playing 50 Cent too 🤘
Love the sound!👉📚🌎👍
Leiwande Gitarre👌👌
kemma jo moi ane zam baun😂😂
You are actually my favorite guitar player! Very cool content!
Interesting ideas.
Oh!! it's Japanese black ink "Boku-eki(also called as "Boku-juh")" moreover it's made in Japan!! thank you to use Japanese product and you made good guitar. say "keep awesome and god bless you!!"from Japan.
Thanks
I've also used a made in Japan Shinto Rasp (to carve the neck heel). Japanese products everywhere :)
To Mr.@ Wow!! you treat Japanese products with care!! many many a lot of たくさん(takusan : means not a few and not enough in Japanese) Japanese people says "Thank you very much take care of Japanese products!!"
Bokuno hero and bokunopiku
BEAUTIFUL!! I thin so far it is my favorite :)
I like it! Wiring is so cool, I want to try it.
it's basically the "serial/parallel switch" mod. However, if your guitar allows you to drill a hole for a toggle switch, I recommend the Ibanez Dyna-Mix wiring:

Cool
The whole reason I watched this video was to HEAR IT !
The sound demo starts at 09:29, demo of all pickup combinations starts at 12:11
Chapters/Timestamps can also be found in the video description.
i clicked as fast as i could
Very good video, but as a suggestion you can set the pickup configuration not as stratocastar, but as nashville stratocaster
thanks, while it not being what you meant, I'm planning to build a Nashville Tele late this year.
I hate Tele guitars, I got a MIJ Fender Telecaster Contemporary .... only because it has a vibrato bar amd a H-S-S pickup configuration ... that will get a new owner this month. When I saw this beveled Tele-esque guitar in black .... 😮😮😮😮 ... OMG ¡¡¡ ... That is a perfect guitar ... but ...... I still hate that control plate design ... anyway ... Perfect guitar ... kuddos ¡¡¡
Hello, does the true oil actually keep the India ink from staining your fingers? Nice work, congrats
thanks :)
yes, so far it does. Luckily, Tru Oil dries really hard, kind of like a tinted solvent based poly urethane.
Kinda looks like it's covered in frost...
That is a TSO.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra?
I can't listen to the background music
The upcoming videos will have normal music again
Awesome Job 🇧🇷
El crapo😢😢😢👎👎
interesting build, awful background music.
The next video will have normal music again 😅
I bet the tuning stability isn’t the Paulownia its the tuners. My paulownia guitars are just as stable as my ash guitars.
Good to know, it might also be the neck, that needed time to get settled in. It's a much cheaper neck than the high quality Warmoth necks that I have used in the past
