I do really like your guide here. As someone who just slaps together anything and everything, I really do appreciate your guide to some items that may help in any ground scenario

When rerolling the Risan Kit Frame. You must reroll to kperfx2 BEFORE upgrading. If you upgrade, then reroll. You do not get the kperfx3. The addition of the epic kperf brings, the total to kperfx4.

Good guide. A bit out dated but still good stuff. The kit modules have become more important on the ground compared to the weapons, and certain combinations are not as effective as they used to be. Mudd's Motivation was nerfed so you can't do what it used to do, which was spam agony field and a few others repeatedly. I agree with your list for kit modules, I would also add these universal modules to the list;
Hurricane wave device. On it's own it is a hard hitter. Combined with ambush, Neutronic Radiation, it is devastating to all enemies that can be knocked back. - draw back long cool down on it's own. 30-22 seconds with Mudd's.
Bio-Essence transfer; high single damage and a heal.
Agonizer Brain Scramble, the younger brother of Agony field generator. It will generate a phaser field around the enemy it hits, damaging anything near it. - also a long CD time.
Resistance is futile - AOE root, DOT, and de-buff. Comes in handy if you need ground control.
Engineer specific Kit module - Sabotage. I don't know how much this is now on the exchange, but this thing is devastating against mechanical mobs, as it's a near instant kill. Against the Iconians, Engineers just own Brotherhood of the Sword TFO.
As for ground weapons; The lobi Disco Rifle for me, is still the hardest hitter. Here're a few more I'd add to the list as well;
Lobi Multi-barrel phaser pistol - It's deadly and good fun.
Plasma wide beam rifle - available at any Romulan weapon's vendor as a common white item.
Upgraded to Epic it is devastating to groups.
Plasma Repeater rifle - also from the Romulan Vendors. Single target drill.
Most wide beam pistols - If you don't mind the TOS sound, the wide beam phasers of that era are ridiculous compared to the others. Vup's Pistol - just a great repeater scatter shot weapon.
The Duelist Compression pistols from the Competitive Rep tree. It's secondary fire is no joke, and the Borg take a bit longer to adapt since it's a dual damage weapon. Kinetic and energy. Originally they couldn't since kinetic was an exception to adaptation. Also fun if you want to pretend to be John Wick. Switching between full auto rifle secondary burst to quickly swapping out to the pistol for it's secondary repeatable exploit damage shots. It's a personal favorite, since I have a toon I made look a bit like Judge Dredd and it looks like an over sized Law Giver from the movies.
You make some excellent points! Thank you! Yes, a lot of the items are older and a little outdated. However, they are still useful for the majority of the player base who just want to be able to handle completing elite tfos.
I'm set up to do mass amounts of AOE in both space and ground. Science is fun, and flashy.

So little patch, the romulan kit frame plus it's stealth armor are another good option for a crit chance build and is a good alternative while to wait for the CQC armor and risan kit
You can get the romulan 2 piece in the uneasy alley episode in the iconian war arc

Somthing that was left out but should be a mention.
1st: if you got the 13th anni bundle you will have gotten the terran emperor ev suit, remodded and upgraded can give you 5% crit chance and 120% crit severity. Yeah you need the bundle to get it but if you did get the bundle then id recommend swaping for that.
2nd: great kitmod to nab is from the latest borg mission Scorpion's abyss.
I left out the bundle on purpose as I really wanted to show examples that don't require any money, just time to obtain. Even with that said, you are right it is another good item to use.
Ive got the 13th bundle but cant find where to reclaim one. Can you tell me where they are ?

I would use 5 rainbow tribbles because you can stack the amount of crit chance.

Good video. I don't think you went over doffs though.
No I did not, the video was already longer then I had planned and doffs would be a very long section as there are many different ways to get doffs and some of them can be very difficult and expensive to obtain.

You didn't tell people how to properly get the Risian Kit to have the maximum amount of Kperf.
To get the maximum amount of Kperf on the Risian kit you have to re-engineer it before upgrading it, make sure that everything that can be re-engineered is re-engineered to Kperf then upgrade it, but only upgrade to the next quality level, once it gets improves in quality re-engineer again to make sure everything that can be changed to Kperf is changed to Kperf. If you upgrade before re-engineering Kperf will not be an option for some of the procs, so you have to re-engineer at each quality increase until it's Epic quality. All of this re-engineering and upgrading is going to cost a lot of Dilithium to get this kit up to Mk XV Epic with the maximum amount of Kperf. Remember do not upgrade to the next quality level until all procs that can be changed are Kperf.

hmm.... kinda basic explanation of a cookie cutter build. Doesn't really go into the "why" to use things...
A few other bits:
Kit frames: The Quick and easy option is the Embassy Kperfx2 frames. Not the "best" but very easy to get and quite useful.
I still don't get why everyone like the Nakuhl set THAT much. It's not the worst thing... but.... emh. It shines most when you have a crit stacking ranged weapon damage build. In a build that does mostly kit damage... not so much.
Same with Burnham armor.
no i disagree, use the fleet armor instead, it is better
