And always a happy go lucky attitude. Very rare for him to get serious , only when he has to, but 99% of time, he is a happy guy who is enjoying his life !!! And most of us are not able to do what he does because we have to work a crummy job !!!! He makes videos that make everyone smile 😃

My precious Black Diamond!! 🥰 I grew up with the ride as the Golden Nugget in Wildwood & when Knoebels saved it, I was so grateful 🙏 my all-time fave! Can't wait to get back there.

Black Diamond was the dark ride that got me to finally enjoy scary dark rides and haunted houses ❤ I was a total scaredy cat as a kid despite my love of halloween and spooky things. But when Black Diamond opened I was determined to ride it without shutting my eyes, and ever since I've loved spooky dark rides

Jacob, you screaming NO on the Twister made me laugh so hard I choked on my own spit and damn near peed myself. I had to run to the bathroom! Also swan's are no joke. An adult swan's wing can hit with the force of a baseball bat.

Throughout this video, I definitely had to lower the volume of my TV, he screams so much and it was so loud. Sometimes I can’t believe he’s that scared.
But I’ve been watching him for a long time so I always know what to expect and I enjoy it actually, he’s one of the best if not the best Amusement Parks and haunts TH-camr. And many other places he goes just intrigues me and I’m so glad to have him. He’s such a cool guy even though he does scream a lot lol. ❤

A friend of mine works as a restoration painter there full time. So much there is hand painted and hand maintained like it was when it first opened. In the "Mining Museum" there is a book of injuries and deaths that is absolutely wild. The 1000 piece puzzle was made by my friend and he hooked me up with one and some of the 50th anniversary tickets. Totally neat of him.

If you want to know when one of those pedulum style rides are going to flip upside down, look for the counterweight on top. If it doesnt have one, it will only swing from side to side. Physics!

As a neurodivergent person the haunted mansion is so loud and i rode it once and wish I could ride it again but it’s just to much. I wish they would have a sensory friendly hour where the sound is off and the lights on the spooks stay on.

The cottages that you commented on over by the Twister...those are members of the Knoebel family that reside there for the summer while the park is in operation...the cottages at the rear of the park can be rented out.

Ah, this brings back great memories. I used to take my son here when we lived in Allentown, PA LOVE Knobels
Back in the day the feed me paper pig was connected to a vacuum system and it would suck the paper in. I've been going here since I was a little kid camping with my parents and I still make sure to make it up at least once every year for a day and I'm in my 50's now. By far the best amusement park in my book!

Just figured I let ya know because of you my daughter who’s 14 and I went to the rainy day revival and it was amazing I bought a few things garbage pale kids cards included lol but we will definitely go to the museum when it opens I mentioned I saw your video and that’s how I found them and they said they love you lol but thanks for it we loved it

Hi Jacob...Just went back in memory of my youth when us kids were guests at Euclid Beach amusement park on Lake Erie. There, too, was a wooden coaster ride called "Flying Turns". I cannot attest that Knoebel's purchased the ride, but it was definitely similar!
Hi Jacob 😊 My fiance and I drove past the exit for Knoebels yesterday and something made me think of you. We should have gone there, but we ended up hiking Ricketts Glen and all 21 waterfalls 🙂
I am one of those people who's scared of chair lift\sky car rides. With roller coasters you are strapped in and are on a substantial track and structure. Sky lift type rides you are held up by a hook on a wire. The hook isn't even closed. That terrifies me! what if the hook slips off the wire? I'm gonna go splat on the ground.
Have been there twice and the last time was about 5 years ago.We drove up from the state you live in to the park.We told Dick Knoebel it took us 8 hrs to get there.He looked shocked.We loved the FlyingTurns the most. I think there was a ride like this at old Coney Island in the old days.I know there was a similar ride at Efteling in the Netherlands.It closed in 2019.We like the small but rough Kozmo's Kurves.We also loved the Phoenix.Did you see Harry and Hattie the Eagles in the back?

Our family stayed at the Getaway cottage on property a few years ago for my sons birthday. It was absolutely incredible to make breakfast and walk over to the park and hop right on Phoenix or anything else. There were days during the week where we had the park pretty much to ourselves. I loved finding weird quirky rides like the Slide, the Cosmotron, and the Satellite. I still have the iron fire poker I bought from the blacksmith shop. Super fond memories of that park and I would love to go back some day.
I think ive said but my dad was a coal miner from Shamokin. When we were little he would take us to visit family and we'd go to knoebels about once a year and also Hershey park. ❤
Last time I went on the Twister I ended up getting a kidney stone attack the next day. It’s been 5 years and I don’t want to get back on it in fear of it doing that again lol

Regarding wooden rollercoasters... I definitely agree that some get physically sore over time. At Michigan's Adventure they have a ride called Shivering Timbers. I refuse to ride it anymore despite liking it at one time. It gives me a migraine when I ride it now because it "shivers" so much. That's not worth a ride to me.
PS have you gotten a book or some way to keep your pressed penny collection together?
Brain Surge at Nickelodeon World at Mall of America is similar to that spinning ride you showed. Not exactly the same, but very similar.
Knoebles does have awesome bumper cars, but Indiana Beach has a better layout for bumper cars :) Hope to see you ride them this season

I live at least 3 hours north of Knoebels. Last time I went was in July/2021
Been there plenty of times.. Roughly an hour away from Lewistown PA where I live.. We have our company picnic there every year. Actually wrestler Mick Foley loves this place as well.. He goes a good bit lol

Whenever I ride the skylift or the fairest wheel I get the feeling to jump off and believe you me it’s not a pleasant feeling,that’s why I stay away from these types of rides.
Somebody named Mr. Ferris invented the Ferris wheel, but he'd probably be flattered that you say it's the fairest.
A similar thing runs through my mind while I'm on a spinning ride. Not that I'd jump off, but I wonder, "If this ride let go right now, how far would this swing, car, "ride chariot," whatever, fling me?

In my opinion, the flying turns is one of the best roller coaster besides the black diamond. I rode once and only once.

I took the sky ride at the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo last February.... I hate heights lol. It's in my videos on my channel. Not as interesting as your videos Jacob, but I had to make a video of it.
I am one of those people who doesn’t like Sky Lifts. Bad experience at the one in Gatlinburg. I can ride like the Skyliner at Disney that is enclosed. Safe travels Jacob
GEM of an amusement park that is different on many levels than your standard overpriced themers. Phoenix and Twister remain top wood coasters and you can’t beat the food and classic rides.
Mt Twister was the first roller coaster I ever rode when I was 9 years old...and un like you Jacob, I was hooked after that first ride. I LOVE roller coasters thanks to Mr Twister.

Great tour of Knoebel's, but I was a bit surprised that you didn't go on the Phoenix! Of the three wooden coasters in the park, that one is the best one. I am also surprised you didn't go on the Flying Scooters or the Cosmotron (indoor Music Express). However, the full on review of the chair lift ride was great! That wasn't running when I went to the park. They certainly did go nuts with the penny smashing machines!
