What did you think about the trailer to The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare? What do you know about the history of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare? Comment down below and let us know
"The ministry of ungentlemanly warfare" was Winston Churchills nickname for an organisation called SOE (Special Operations Executive). Later in the war the U.S. copied it and set up OSS (Office of Strategic Services). After the war OSS became the CIA. One of the officers involved in planning this raid was Lt-Commander Ian Fleming, who wove some of Gus March-Phillips (Henry Cavils) character into the main character in his spy novels, James Bond.
Honestly, it felt like an attempt at Inglourious Bastards, without Tarantino's grace and genius. The trailer reminded me of the Amsterdam hype, everyone thought it would be a movie and...no. So I don't know, it doesn't seem like a big deal. Typical film that you preferred to watch at home rather than spend time and money going to the cinema. And there's Cavill... if there's Cavill, he's sure to fail at the box office. The man is an anchor for movies. Very rare exceptions.
I do remember Amsterdam and there was a lot of hype about it and like you said once it came out, there was nothing. I do hope the movie can be lell received and do well at the box office for Cavil's sake.
its a heavily fictionalized version of operation postmaster, the operation to take out hitlers submarines in the Atlantic that were attacking supply ships and ships full of civilians

Ok looks interesting and Henry Cavil looks different in this movie
I was a little shocked at the part Henry Cavil is playing, I have to get used to this, he's not a super hero anymore
Yea it is a bit different seeing Henry Cavil like this
It's based on operation postmaster. Real characters.
Undecided…..
Yea I think I'm undecided as well
