    This looks so entertaining. I'm in. Cavill and Ritchson together is so good.
    Cavill's tongue out in his scenes is so iconic.
    EDIT: The fact you included an Uncle Buck scene gained you major points from me...one of my all time favorite movies.

    Carl Elwes is having quite a comeback, good for him, great actor. Looking forward to this. Guy Richie movies always have great dialogue and interesting characters.

    Alan Ritchson(Met him once. Nice guy) plays Anders Lassen. He was a Frogman for the Danish Navy. He worked with the British against the Nazis while his country was occupied. Won the Victoria Cross posthumously. The only non-British recipient, I believe.

    • @holdmydualshock
      @holdmydualshock  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's really cool I didn't know that thanks for sharing that! The pictures of the Danish frogmen online are intense lol. Alan ritchson seems like a legit good dude.

      If you'd stopped at the only Danish recipient, you'd have been correct, there is quite a long list of non-British recipients, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, (including Charles Upham one of only three men who were awarded 2VCs) Indians, Nepalese Gurkhas, and three Americans.

    It's not actually a standalone move, it's from the WWII Cinematic Universe. Hitler formerly appeared in Raiders of the Lost Ark, which also featured the 'U boat' mentioned in the trailer. The guy giving he briefing at the start is probably working for Churchill,. Who is the WWIICU equivalent of Phil Coulson, acting as a plot device to tie together most of the key movies.

      I cannot express how much I enjoyed this comment. Brilliant stuff lol I just hope we get to see some of the multiverse plot lines from Argentina and even argartha.

    The stories of the actual real life characters are insane. 1 of which was a recipient of the Victoria Cross which is harder to win than the US equivalent Medal of Honour.

    The spiritual successor to "Inglorious Bastards," yeah... count me in! This looks fuckin sick - love me some Cavil too. His rendition of Supeman was m favorite thus far, and "Man of Steel," (despite havin it's flaws, like everything does), is by far my favorite Superman film and one of the best comic movies ever made - legit top ten imo. I was never a massive Superman fan to begin with, so the fact that I loved that movie makes it all that much more impressive. I never got why so many hated it, (i mean, i do know why - it's more that the reasons that are usually given are really effin stupid imo). And portrayal of the Sup's was a major reason i loved/love it so much. He's easily one of my favorite actors working currently and really haven't seen a performance o his where i thought it sucked. I mean - though the first two seasons of "The Witcher" story-wise differed significantly from the source material, however if you set aside the source material and rate it as a fantasy tv-show and compare it to other fantasy shows, For the first two seasons "The Witcher" was really good imo. I get that season 2 really butchered some beloved characters and all, but the story that we did get, while not faithful to the source material - was still pretty decent. And the action and Cavil's performance made up for it's largest flaws. Season however, yeah that sucked on every front. And due to how badly they've strayed from the source material and the indifference or even outright disdain for that source material and the massive fan base urging for it to be followed more faithfully, the showrunners pretty much ran Henry out of the show. And to go from that to then being horribly treated by Gunn and WB when rather than taking advantage of the overwhelmingly positive reception of the Aquaman movie and the release of the masterpiece that is the Snyder-Cut of J-League, Gunn in his infinite wisdom decided to say fuck you to the fans by announcing a complete reboot while giving Cavil the boot as well - even though after having a cameo in "Black Adam" had everyone cheering that they had brought back Henry to play Sup's again. So yeah, Henry's had it rough the last year and a half or so. So glad to see him in other shit, and from what we saw - this looks fun as hell! (Sorry for the rant)
    -Oh, and here's hoping his 40K adaptation project that he's running turns out to be a major success for him as well! Great reaction guys!

      Thanks so much for joining us! I completely agree and it think you are spot on. I think that audiences can feel the sincerity of Henry Cavill and his commitment to being a good steward of the projects he works on. We have long said that in another generation he would be the biggest star in Hollywood. I think this movie looks great and I am looking forward to seeing more of his humorous side coming through.
      He looks like he is about to have a big year. Highlander has me excited and from what I hear Argyle is good fun.
      Thanks for your awesome take and we love rants on this channel!
      Catch you in the comments!

    Why is being British and having a British accent so funny. Henry Cavill is one of our own from the Island of Jersey. There are many British Actors and Actresses living or working in the United States either on TV or in the Film's that are British even they do American accents. For us in the UK it's weird for us to hear one of our own British Actors or Actresses speaking in an American accent as we know that infact they are British. 💂‍♂️💂‍♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
