Excited about the Vcore 4. I have two Rat Rig V core 3 - a 500 and a 400. It would be great if Fabreeko could have all of the parts and kits to reduce shipping, they are a great company to work with. My guess the Vcore 4 will have improved belt path and motion system, idlers - bearings, etc, and maybe higher voltage steppers and motors with feedback loops. BTT has a great new mainboard - the Kraken that has TMC2160 drivers on the board that run at 24 to 60 v, plus many more options for under $120. this would be a major upgrade.
I love this. You're sticking close to the theme of a machine that self replicated and who would have thought that such a well polished machine could be 3D printed. Most other printed machines are experimental gimmicks. As a general printing enthusiast I cannot wait to get my hands on one down here in South Africa.
Amazing! Good job, guys! Just about a month and a half back I was contemplating on what my next 3d printer should be, juggling between RatRig V-Core, Voron and Prusa XL - I decided that V-Core 3.1 is my best bet and even added my name to the waiting list (for 400mm parts) but now you made my day! Can't wait to see what V-Core 4 is going to offer and I truly, truly hope, that I can get to print large and accurate polycarbonate parts! ...and I secretly wish, that you have a REAL tool changer (extruder, mill - drill etc.)
Any updates on the mills? Curious about the release date and pricing details! Also, I noticed that the exposure changes automatically in the video, causing a noticeable swell that can be distracting. I’d recommend setting the exposure manually-it just looks a lot nicer for the viewer.
i cant wait and i hope that i am somehow able to get my hands on this thing without going bankrupt... because with 3d printing i am addicted to speed, power, quality, mods and features i am doing my best to get my voron (which i got some time ago) to speed with awd, watercooling, leightweight and power... and i believe i am actually doing quite good - i can print at 600mm/s and 20k accel so far and travel with 30k and 700mm/s... main issue right now is my belt tension - after that i hope i can go faster :)) and since you asked... my best guess for the V4 is it having IDEX, the magical mod i have been looking after for a while and maybe even super fast idex
Oh man i'm going to start saving up money for one of those mills, something i've always wanted to have since leaving the machining classroom many years ago I could actually fit one of these in my house which makes it all possible!
Looking forward to the mills. I already have some ideas (and 3D drawings) of custom cpu coolers and also a brake adapter to put a 320mm disc brake on my supermotard.
Kudos, like the video and how you present upcoming stuff. There will be more than enough people building your products and making more technical videos (myself included), but this news-like presentation gives enough current info, we know what to expect and the format is actually entertaining to watch!
As a busy person always traveling, plus the immense learning curve of assembling such a complex machine from scratch for the first time, I have yet to get my Vcore 3.1 fully functional, its been years! Hopefully the 4 is more foolproof, utilizing RatRig made enclosure panels and other parts that constrain the shapes in a way that almost guarantees a square frame during assembly. I'd also like to see default EBB-42 toolhead board and beacon integration and better belt tensioning. Lastly, it might be time to drop the Phaetus Rapido, its fragile af and the sock drifts down on all 3 that I've had (2 replacements, easier than getting those titanium screws that snap during head crashes)
I am really excited to see all the new stuff that you have. I have been thinking about getting one of your Vcores for quite some time, maybe i will finally try one.
Judging from the printers that I see behind Sonat, my guess for new features are blind joints for the extrusions, FMMM, Including the Ratrig Toolhead as standard, an IDEX version of the V4. Also, my vision might be failing me but does it look like belt tensioning has moved away from the tool head? AWD would be fantastic as well.
I have been waiting for the 4! We have a vcor 3 500^3 at work and i felt the need of an IDEX to print whit soluble suports. Also made quiet a few structural ad on parts for it to make it more rigid and they worked i can actually push the thing to 9m/s^2 whit out resonance compensation, my only print speed limiting parameter is flow rate, so i hope for some heftier melt rate options in the new machine kits (like the goliath). Also i like to ask how similar the structure of the 3.1 and 4 are as i have made a lot of parts for a machine that i wanted to buy for my self just ran out of time. Thank you, and great videos so far.
Sounds great! Hope the release will be there soon! Trying to find a new printer with at least 300x300x300 and found you guys… let’s see what happens 😁👍🏻
Wish I wasnt always the last one to addapt to new cool stuff. I just got my ratrig vcore 3.1 90% built and now there is a vcore 4. Wish I would have known as I would have waited
this progress makes me think i should _finally_ start working on my v-core 500 :/ just that i got v-core 3, which could get an enclosure, but the mechanical updates of 3.1 are important. without enclosure building a pla only machine of this caliber just kinda doesn't make sense ... Need 3.1 enclosure!
Oh nice just as I upgrade to V-core 3.1 🥲 still looking forward to see what comes with 4.0. That mini mill will be on my next buy list. I wonder if V-Core 4 will have filament runout sensor, or a power loss system, where you could resume prints if the power goes (providing the print is still stuck to the bed of course😉) looking forward to it all
If you guys are trying to get more subscribers, you should try making videos that are not so much about advertising your products. Try doing some speed tests, speed boat challenges, overhangs and other things about everyday 3d printing. You could also print files off printables and show off the creators page to give them credit for their designs.
I purchased the AWD kit and M2 lever system from BRS engineering to make my faster and possibly more reliable (it's already reliable). I hope the vcore4 is a significant upgrade where I don't need to upgrade my ratrig3.1, again!
Boah awesome shit, I absolutely have to have it, wanted to buy me 1 month ago da vcore 3.1 endless unfortunately I was too late and it was all sold out I hope the price is not too high like the vcore 3.1 but I absolutely have to buy it ;)
Damit I was on the verge of getting a Trident kit. But now I will have to wait for the V Core 4. Please make it quick I can't wait anymore. The suspense is killing me.
more than a month of continuous teasing to announce an upcoming announcement? in my opinion, this is just a bit too much honestly, i think there are some lessons to be learned here.
@@jakobwest4811 That is true and i dont think there's anything wrong with that. I love RatRig machines and I want the company to do well. I just think the previous teasing was very unnecessary since this wasnt even a reveal...
I wish the giveaway was random :/ Now I feel blah about even entering lol. Plus, maybe it would make sense to giveaway for ppl looking for their first bigger project :'/
Something happened. They published a normal video, not a useless teaser. But no. This is just new but long teasing video Interesting who will buy V-Chonk if we have bambu lab A1 (mini).
He seriously sounds like a villain when he says "Rat Rig" in his accent.
As i was watching the episode it came to my coonclusion.. i won one of the V-Chonks! So excited! Great episode again!
I think would be cool if the 4 has some sort of filament calibration/first layer check via lidar or similar. One could dream

Maybe the 4 will have true independent extruders like a double gantry for multiple materials on the same machine at the same time.
Amazing! Good job, guys!

Thank you very much for featuring my toolchanger mod for the Rook 180. Can't wait to mod the hell out of the V-Chonk!
Congratulations to the Winners! Looking forward to see where the V-Chonk project goes.
Thanks!
Great Rat Rig TV episode as always! Can't wait for the official VC4 launch.
See you at RMRRF, Sonat!

omg you guys GREW :) I bought my first laser CNC from you in 2018! it's still going strong, like you are :D keep it up!

Wow... great updates. It looks promising.

V4 has me curious.. the Mill has me excited. I 'almost' went for a Milo but with this happening I'll wait.

Just started looking at getting my first printer kit. Looks like I picked just the right time, can’t wait for the VC4!

damn the white printer at 5:33 looks really nice!
the mill looks awesome!
Sounds great! Hope the release will be there soon! Trying to find a new printer with at least 300x300x300 and found you guys… let’s see what happens 😁👍🏻
even though it's 3d printed, the v-chonk still looks really beefy just like the v-minion😎😎😎
Grrr! 😖 I just started to work on my v-core 3.1 500 enc wiring… So, I guess once I am done I’ll just have to make another printer. ❤😂
Probably FMMM, new idlers, Hybrid CoreXY/IDEX Options, blind joints, front tensioners
Wish I wasnt always the last one to addapt to new cool stuff. I just got my ratrig vcore 3.1 90% built and now there is a vcore 4. Wish I would have known as I would have waited

Finde ich auch so
Will there be an option for a toolchanger?
Very excited for Vcore4 and I can’t wait to make a CHONKY BOI
Wish and hope 😊

Regarding the mills. Why did you choose to use MG series linear rails instead of HG series? And why did you choose lead screws over ball screws?
HG are 15mm or larger. Ballscrews... dude go look at the price of any decent quality ballscrew
just started watching this and it better have some V4 content in it despite the lack of a mention in the title. sneaky bstds !
Boah awesome shit, I absolutely have to have it, wanted to buy me 1 month ago da vcore 3.1 endless unfortunately I was too late and it was all sold out I hope the price is not too high like the vcore 3.1 but I absolutely have to buy it ;)
Will be possible to upgrade from 3.1 to vc4?
This guy is absolutely insane
Chonk...most difficult part is print top plate...I can't...
That mill, gawddamnn
Nice V-Core 3.1.5 you have there..

Yeah it is getting ridiculous!
Yeah definitely poor marketing on this.

I wish the giveaway was random :/ Now I feel blah about even entering lol. Plus, maybe it would make sense to giveaway for ppl looking for their first bigger project :'/
Please get Fabreeko to stock those mills
Why don't you at least say the build volume, accel, speeds, hotend of that printer?
Cnc mill❤
Please make Aliexpress store with kit's to make worldwide order. i want to order but your not send your machines out of EU/US
Mini mills have a pretty bad rep lot of people have tried them... hard to believe it will be good.
Cut promotion creators and marketers They've been ruining the product's image for four weeks
Something happened. They published a normal video, not a useless teaser. But no. This is just new but long teasing video
Interesting who will buy V-Chonk if we have bambu lab A1 (mini).
Still nothing idex or toolchanger lame 😒
Holy fuuuuuuu vcore4 index
