The only reason I don’t listen to it more is honestly because it isn’t on Spotify, so I forget to listen at work where I do most of my podcast listening. Im so fucking intrigued with black out work I cant explain it but one thing nobody comments on is the fact that it accentuates muscle bone structure definition just like the fake tanner bodybuilders apply before competition
🖤👍🏻🇬🇧 l love your hair bonde siliver ll thought it looksed great with your tattoo .You need to use Siliver puple shampoo and the conditioner it will keep all the yellow tones out of your hair .Anyway l did think it looked Cool blonde. Black looks Cool too 😊
Hey Ephemeral. I have a quick question. I know this is a very controversial topic but I'm curious because all of my tattoos that I have are black. And I'm just wondering how do you heal your tattoos, like do you put some specific lotion or creme or oil or tattoo blam etc or do you dry heal? Like how exactly do you heal such large ares of solid packing in with black tattoo ink and manage to have pretty nice saturation? Also this may be a weird question but I'm still kinda curious about it, do you have any idea what type of tattoo ink your tattoo artist used to black out most of your body? I ask this because I heard some types of black tattoo inks are blacker than others. If you can answer my questions I'd really appreciate it.
Some people think some types are darker than others, but that is largely fiction, the application of the ink is what affects its darkness as well as the persons native skin tone, and how well it heals. I have heard blackout tattoos many different ways, but currently I’m mostly dry healing, with a light coat of aquaphor on areas once they’ve fully dried out
@@EphemeralRemy Hi. When you say you put a light coat of aquaphor on areas once they fully dried out, do you mean you apply a tiny layer of aquaphor on your new tattoos only if they look very dry? Or do you mean you only apply a light layer after the tattoo has completely pealed off? Like what do you mean exactly by applying a light coat of aquaphor once the tattoo fully dried out? Sorry if I sound annoying, It's just almost all of my tattoos are black and I'm trying to find a way to heal them with great saturation and no ink missing on certain areas of the tattoo witch has been a problem for me sometimes, especially when I get really large areas of packing in with black tattooed on me. So I just want to know how to heal my tattoos very nicely and get great advice from a very tattooed person that has lots of nice solid healed blackwork on them. I appreciate your content and your story by the way. Very open and intresting. I'm also glad that I can see real blackwork and blackout tattoos on your instagram and youtube with what real blackwork and blacking out really looks like healed and not edited or seeing blackwork right when the tattoo has just been done. You don’t sound annoying at all, and I assure you that almost all people who get blackout it tattoos have spotty or patchy areas after one or two passes, again it’s a problem with tattooers on Instagram not posting healed pics of work often. I generally wait until the tattoo looks very dry before putting any aquaphor on, but not necessarily wait until after the peel.
I just got an upper arm half sleeve blackout a few days ago and I’m struggling. I swell after tattoos and my whole arm is ballooned so I can’t put it down by my side like normal. Carrying it around is exhausting because it’s so damn heavy. Sleeping is near impossible too. Can’t wait for the worst to be past
@@jackdickenson9838 yes it’s normal, there’s a lot of trauma to the skin. My swelling lasted a few weeks, but months later my inked arm is still bigger than my other by an inch in circumference. Ibuprofen can help with the swelling

@@jackdickenson9838 no problem. yeah I was pretty worried too at the time. There was so much bruising too, it was so painful, I was miserable for a couple weeks. I guess that’s what you get for blacking out your entire upper arm in one session 😂

I've been blacking out my L arm the past couple years. Recently I got some more work done, same ink (dynamic black) but it 's like two different shades. It's only been three months since the new stuff was done but, I'm wondering when the shades will match? Any advice would be super appreciated

Mines done the same. Hade upper put of arm done to the elbow . nearly my whole arm has ballooned. How long did it last is that normal

I just got my hand and fingers blacked out (2nd pass) how many passes did it take for yours to look that dark? Mine keep fading.
My fingers have each been done three times blackout

Im doing my blackout sleeve. So question so i can know what to expect. You have to do a few pass overs to get it that black right?
Oh yea, it’s almost a guarantee, my sleeves have been blacked out around 5-6 times each depending on the area
