BlazBlue is a really solid fighting game, and is way more interesting when we like the universe as it have a lot to offer, and this game conclude the story tell. Maybe that's the only problem : a lot of players will start with the end of the story... Clearly you will not understand the role of characters like that, but you can watch the anime to have a story from the 2 first games. You'll just miss the Chrono Phantasma story, not that much important, just should check the end on TH-cam is enough I think

Then again, I've played every Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter except MK4 and SF3, and I don't remember any story in them, either. :-) I play fighting games for fun, not for the story. Hell, I've even barely touched the story in Soul Calibur VI, even though I do enjoy the game a lot. I started the story, but found it boring. But again, I think I'll give BB a chance. The first one was enjoyable enough, and it looks like there's a big roster are plenty of modes in the latest one (other than the story) to keep me occupied. :-) And there's local PvP, of course. That's by far my favorite way to play these games.

So peoples complains about ps4 version and the 2D sprites being deformed, and now we have a arcade perfect port, but it's not enough because a version with less sprites on vita looked smoother ? Someone really need to play BlazBlue on Arcade :3 The PsVita version was just ok on a 576p screen. But BlazBlue engine was always made for 720p screen, and on the switch, it's clearly the most beautiful BlazBlue render we could have. For the TV mode, compared ps4 and switch : 2d sprites are way better on Switch for the same reason, but 3d decors aliased more
I somehow managed to understand the story and didn’t really have issues with the visuals as far as the combat and the story maybe be a traffic jam but it actually made me cry But then again I had been playing Cal amity Trigger 2 for the 3ds which is CRUNCHED in the graphics department and lags like you are playing online in a nuclear shelter
do you have to play the previous games to understand the story of this version. its gonna be my first blazblue is i do buy it. also is the controls or fighting machanics difficult to understand? thanks
Calamity Trigger isn't for the 3DS, Continuum Shift II is (which is technically Calamity Trigger 2, since it takes place after the events of the game).
@@ibrahimanwar9822 I highly suggest that, if you want to understand the story, you play the games in chronological order (Calamity Trigger - Continuum Shift Extend - Chronophantasma Extend - Central Fiction). If you think that'll take too long, Continuum Shift Extend, Chronophantasma Extend, and Central Fiction all have optional recap stories of the previous installments that you could watch instead, but even then, you'll still miss a lot of information by viewing it instead of playing the previous installments yourself.
But the Switch is not Region-locked, so you can play those physical games on your Switch. And looking at the prices on eBay and Amazon, you won't be paying much more than $30.
I got Cross Tag on PC because of the joysticks in the game being very sensitive and loose than the PC version. Is Centralfiction the same? Or should i just stick to PC?
I'm not sure what you mean but, Centralfiction is way more optimized for PC than CTB, and way more optimized than any other main entrance in the series (for PC, i played all of them)

Dvoranac5 If you want content, go with Central Fiction. If you just want VS matches, go with Cross Tag. Both are fantastic but Cross Tag is still an active game in the Fighting Game Community.
I tried the game with game cube controller, fun, you still can play with a arcade stick, but well, to be honest, I'm surprised of notions feeling for this game ^^ (without joystick) Try the demo on the Japanese store ;)
Theres an adapter by 8bitdo that can connect ps4 controllers to the switch. If that's what u prefer (like me) that adapter is swaying me to buy more fighters for the switch

I received a review copy and the PR company told me I couldn’t put any of story mode into the review or the original creator would remove the video. So he told me to just not put any story mode footage in the review.

I like this game but I hate how its digital on switch in north America. And in Europe and Japan its physical release
