It is so lovely that this girl beat cancer. Proof that, sometimes, laughter and joy can be powerful medicine. Also loved that they used actual kids from Make A Wish, not child actors, so the reactions would have been genuine. Moreover, I believe that it is completely something Robin would have done. He brought so much joy to others.

He noticed how the kids aren't feeling while but rather they seemed to look empty on his perspective, but without thinking much he does his best to bring out joy to them, making them laugh, which caught every kids attention in that room, he acted goofy to bring out a smile into their faces, he shows great empathy in simple words.
It’s amazing how just by the objects and equipment there in that room he was able to create so many different characters and make all those children laugh and have a good time even if it was just for a little while.

I was way too young to remember her cancer story, plus I don't really have the right to tell you about her life. All I can say is that she defeated her cancer and now she is happily pursuing her career as a fashion designer, creating hand beaded skirts for her company called The Nude Face
The little girl in this scene was a real life cancer patient. Thankfully, she recovered from the cancer and has grown into a beautiful young woman. She says about Robin Williams, "He is an amazing man, and that he brought so much laughter and life, to myself, and my family when we needed it the most."

I'm a trainee at a childcare centre and I know that this isn't like a children's ward but every time I walk past the different classrooms the children give me a smile and a wave and I do the same. To be honest I don't think teaching is fun anymore, the whole purpose of teaching is to inform and show children and people for that matter how to do ordinary things and how to treat people the right way not trigonometry or working out the angle of circumfrance or writing 1000 words essays that are due at the end of the week. I guarantee children and people are going to be more interested in a teacher that teaches them the basics in life than a teacher who teaches them what you won't need in life
