Just remove egr valve using the Haynes manual got fault code P0403... Found your video on how to clean it hope this resolves it going to finish it tomorrow... Good video just subscribe to your channel 👍
good video! on the older corsa eg 2004 with black instruments , there is one more bolt holding the egr to the block . it sits between the water-cooler and the hose . it is a pain to get .
The egr valve is usually closed so if change the software it will stay closed but if you want to install plate then you have to open 2 bolts that hold it with the cylinder head
Because on my Vauxhall Combo van 1.3 diesel it loses power when I first takeoff in first and second gear I have power then when I come to a junction to take off I haven't got the power like I did have would it be the EGR valve as I have checked the air flow metre and I have changed the map sensor

Hi i have a big problem . I have pressure in the water system and the water go out all the time ....its not the head gasket.... i change the AGR cooler ...now the pressure is 10 time more ..... i can not understand the rison .
Hello again. If you replace the egr valve rather than cleaning it, do you have to reset the egr adaptation values on ecu? Is this required on an opel corsa?
It used to sound like air leak but drive ok but recently that sound stopped and turbo not engaging. A mechanic pointed to the egr cooler saying that needed replacing any idea??

When the egr was stuck check lamp was on and car had less power
Just did the voltage check. Great: 4 was 5v, 2 was battery voltage (-0.1v) 11.8 , low because trying to start.

Where can you put egr blanking plate to make egr delete? Do you have to drain the coolant for egr delete or not?

Yes it's the same engine and the egr is probably stuck that's why the check engine lamp is on

Try to bypass the egr cooler and you will find out what is going on

I think no because I think there were no adaptations available on Opel cars
Did you have to put it on a ramp to get to the bolts to take off the EGR valve

Just remove the part on inlet manifold with two bolts and metal clamp on the hose

I don't think it's egr valve check the hoses from the turbo to the inlet manifold and intercooler for any cracks
