Something that is rarely told - David selected 5 stones. Not because he expected to miss, but because Goliath had a brother and three sons who were also giants.

Six cubits is a measurement of length that was commonly used in ancient times. A cubit is an ancient unit of length, which was defined as the distance from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger. The exact length of a cubit varied from place to place and over time, but it was typically around 18 inches (45.7 centimeters).
Therefore, six cubits would be approximately 9 feet (2.74 meters) in length.

It means place of the skull and most think it's bc the hill resembles a skull but I think it could be where the literal seed of the woman crushed the seed of the serpent. Just a thought. It is not a thought but a revelation from the Holy Spirit in your inner man. "Golgotha" is a contraction of the name "Goliath from Gath" People knew the name but not the secret behind.
David built his royal city near the hill that God had shown him. The same which had also been indicated to Abraham for his test of faith (nearly sacrifice of Isaac).

They probably also wanted to corrupt the gene pool given God had warned them Jesus would come (through bloodline/Mary) and crush the head of the enemy. Check out Birthright from Timothy Alberino if you’re curious.

I also did it with the Dead Sea Scroll measurements that used 6 cubits with common hebrew cubit and it came to 10 ft 6 inches!I can totally see how to make Goliath look not so big "scholars"used the common and smallest hebrew cubits to get their "not so giant" height of 6-9 feet 9 inches. How irritatingly deceptive! UPDATE: I did the math using the Egyptian Royal Cubit and a span with yhe average mans hand being 21.5 cm and converting it todays measures Goliath was 16 feet tall! I did the math multiple times. Next I will do the common Egyptian cubit and the most common recognized hebrew cubit found in ancient Israel and compare hieghts for the average height known by ancient tellers of their ancestoral histories.Yes!! Thank you for recognizing the Royal or Egyptian cubits as the standard way of measuring long before the Hebrew cubits. The Egyptian cubits would make Goliath over 11 feet tall! People dont want to or cant fathom, beings or humans taller than imaginable.

Great video thank you. In regards to Goliath and his lineage of either Nephilim or Rephiam is debatable, however Amos 2:9 describes the Amorite warriors that were also dealt with by Joshua amongst other leaders/Kings being as tall cedar trees.
The common cedars around that area reach an average height of 40-60ft!!!!
    Let that sink in..
When the Lord issued judgments on His people or the prophets sent their rebuke to the masses there is always a mention of being brought up out of Egypt AND taking out all the “Ites” and the tribes of them (Jericho for example) because of how much of an astounding and insanely crazy feat all that was by the hand of the Living God to make all men know His power..
That’s why everywhere the people of Israel went the surrounding tribes FEARED them kuz they wer known as Giant killers..
As big as Goliath was he was PUNEY in comparison to other Giants recorded through out the OT. Consider him and his brothers as “bread out” nephilim/rephiam due to consistent co-mingling with human wives. So down the line the giants got smaller and smaller due to both genetics and getting DECIMATED by the people of Israel.

      @faroutmydude5965 ปีที่แล้ว

@@E.Carrillo i wasn’t there and neither where you.. and it’s not me saying these words but the prophet Amos who was or was by separation of a generation or two. Id take his word over yours anyday. (No disrespect)
As far as the “no connection” as you mentioned between antediluvian Giants and post antediluvian Giants is concerned they all came from the same source of incursion of angelic beings. Call them what you will.. annunaki, fallen angels, watchers, aliens it doesn’t make a difference they were the “Beneha’elohim ( sons of God) according to scripture (which i assume, i maybe wrong, that you do read and believe).
The first incursion was deliberate to pollute the human genome to prevent the “seed of the woman” prophecy spoken to and of Eve by Yahweh from coming into fruition by the devices of the Devil. And the second like it but by the devices of the Devil THROUGH man as the Devil parody’s off of anything and everything that he sees the Father perform.. genetic mutation.. yes the post antediluvian civilizations were quite advanced, because there was another assimilation and cohabitation of angelic beings that returned and kept doing the same things they were up to you prior to the flood. We see evidence of this amongst the culture of that time with Lot and the two Angelic hosts that came to him which he had to hide kuz the people of that city (Sodom) wanted to mingle with them incessantly, so a final point needs to be made here. They would only do something like that if that was a sense of normalcy, and in then their depraved minds a form of worship.. not just the men but the women to, so why the women? So they can give birth to the Nephilim.
Abraham dealt with hybrids and Nephilim in his day. He bought the parcel of land to bury his wife Sarah from a hybrid being the owner of that vast area of land. The owner of that land his name literally is translated as “fawn-like” he was a Sadir. Co-mingling of bloodlines wasn’t an abstract thing back then, because it was so common. This is why the Lord called out Abraham to be separated from the rest of the people, because of the second incursion of angelic beings co-mingling with human women in that region..
Since we do find this in the OT, it is not so much of a hard reach to understand, or consider that 40 to 60 foot giants in comparison to cedar trees described by the prophet Amos, were actually eyewitness accounts.
As far as the book of Enoch is concerned (the first not the 2nd or 3rd) and giants being 4500 feet tall, I would not, and I cannot rule that out because I wasn’t there however, the book of Enoch was a commonly understood scroll by the people of Israel and the apostle Paul makes mention of it in his letter to Jude, as well as Peter, making mention of its contents in the New Testament within his letters.
Fast forward to today Native Americans, certain tribes throughout the Midwest, have lore of Giants, running as fast as Buffalo, and sweeping one up in one arm and eating another with the other arm.
So I say that to say this, and I’ll and hear. The pre flood antediluvian giants were so massive, and the world was full of them, and they were at war with one another, and they were insatiable. They ate not just man, but they cannibalized each other. They exhausted the land, and they demolished entire kingdoms while they were at it until there was only one pure, blooded human bloodline and his family that was left on the face of the Earth and that was the line of Seth, and specifically Noah and his family.
The first generation giants had to have been substantially larger in stature and features that any subsequent Giants that came after them post flood by breeding out through generation and generation and becoming smaller leasing upto Davids experience was, and is result of the second incursion that was brought about by angelic/genetic mutation due to technology brought forth by fallen Angelic hosts. Think the tower of babel and Nimrod. He was the result of a genetic/angelic offspring. He and his entire nation 201 years after the Flood had subsided..
Rather than discounting these references, dive into your Bible and test these things in which I have said, and see if they are true. God bless you. Cheers 🍻

Goliath did have brothers. I don't know about sons I'd have to look it up in the bible,as far as picking up 5 stones please don't make me laugh 😂 what did u expect pick up only 1 stone? No David was human and was just picking up extra ammunition (stones) NO he wasn't going to slay 4or5 giants that day because once the philistines champion Goliath went down the philistines all fled and we're pursued by the Israelites .

Grace. David picked up the grace of God.
I had been praying for years about this and quoting Jeremiah 33:3 before God.
A few years ago, God revealed to me that as the number 5 signifies grace, David went into the battle with the favor of God.
(Grace being unmerited and sometimes the merited favor of God)
      God bless,
      Pastor Tom

    Luke 12:37
Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

I would have more faith in the competency of this video were the captioned words provided by the video (not auto) spelled correctly! So many "scholars" are ignorant!

Some archeologists say Goliath was only 6 feet 9 inches tall. The average man's height was 5 feet 6 inches.

Those so called scholars that want to claim Goliath was only 6’9” use the wrong cubit measurement because it supports their unBiblical belief and interpretation of Genesis 6. I’ll leave it their but they are not Hebrew Scholars for certain.
