Lake of Records | Trailer (2022 Power Boat Racing Documentary)

Around 83 years ago, my great-grandfather introduced a new sporting tradition to the central Florida area.
On the shores of Lake Hollingsworth, Lakeland held its first Orange Cup Regatta, a power boat race that still captivates spectators to this day.
Over the past year, I set out to research and document the history of the Orange Cup. Eventually, my project evolved into a documentary. Centered around an interview with my grandfather, "Lake of Records" dives into the importance of family and community.
“Lake of Records” will premiere to friends and family on Thursday, February 17th. A digital premiere will take place on February 24th.
