Thanks for uploading! I’ve been on S2ki for a while and followed your old build. It’s refreshing seeing these types of shows covered by someone who actually recognizes the quality parts on these builds and showcases the authenticity.
Thanks for the support! Yeah I’ll try to do more of these. I just haven’t been lately because I need to get a mic setup. But I’ll start posting more of them with commentary once I grab mics.
Nice video!! Man, I missed my Honda days, ITR and RSX-S!!! I own bmw M’s and AMG now, but there’s always a spot inside me to built another b20 or K24’s!!!
What a nice meet! Crazy money here. This video proves why stock s2k are worth so much money lol. Also, that white s2k isn't the nicest s2000 in the country. Looks, design, and parts are subjective! It may be a quality build regarding parts but, to me, it's hideous looking no matter what fancy parts it has. OEM + all day! Retaining the stock beautiful body lines is the way to go imo. That's just my opinion though.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if you’re wrong 😉 😜. Imo, stock cars are cool but life would be terrifyingly boring if all cars were stock. We might as well be driving badgeless and nameless blobs. Modification is personalization and what allows us to make our cars unique and represent our personality and tastes. Will we appease everyone? No. I have plenty of reasons why I personally feel this way but that’s an entire video in and of itself 😆. Some people like stock cars, some like slammed cars, some like museum cars that you can’t drive, some like track cars. I personally like super high quality cars that stand out from the rest. For me, doesn’t have to be the fastest around the track or the shiniest at the show, it’s the thought and mindset behind the build that matters the most (whatever the use case of the car May be). And you may not agree, but that’s the great part about freedom of choice. We can all build how we want.
I definitely understand, like I said, you can't please everyone. But it doesn't take away from the fact that this car is the highest quality S2K I know of. The owner doesn't spam his car everywhere so it's ok if you don't know what has been done to the car, but it's a very well thought out and tastefully done. Again, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's mine. Some people will think the engine bay should be shaved and tucked...I don't...I personally hate the shaved and tucked look. He has just about every, ASM part available. Including the chassis braces under the car and even the Sach's suspension. Expanded capacity diff, M&M Honda Diff shock setup, I think a spoon carbon prop shaft even. And if you've experience ASM parts and then experienced other aftermarket parts (especially for Hondas), you'll know that ASM quality top quality and hard to beat. I've known the owner for 14+ years and owned an s2K myself for 14 years total and have seen a lot of them. Sure some might have a engine bay setup with a 800hp turbo engine or another might have a $30K custom paint job, but Tommy's car is so well rounded and every part of the car has been optimized and modified with the highest quality parts available.
To me the oem front splitter with maybe a carbon aftermarket front diffuser on top looks perfect. Not too keen on all these bodykit ones. Only front bumper that looks really good to me is the voltex one with canards on. Plus the stock bumper is far more durable and of better build quality than any of these fibreglass front bumpers regardless of how ludicrously expense some of these brands are for what is a cheap material! Those over fenders look terrible on the back unless they’re blended in, which I’ve seen on one grey s2k on TH-cam and that did look sweet.
LOADS of quality everywhere you turn!! Thanks for posting
You bet

@@ChrisLumNSX you're 100% right! Despite that, that white s2k is still ugly haha!
I was going to say my S2k is nicer but I’m biased. I hate over fenders and not all asm parts look good.

I knowww. Nsx made a poor showing this day.
i missed this meet, i knew it but had sudden family issue.... =(
Family first! see you next year!
too many s2000 and not enough nsx. where were all the nsx's?
Seriously. Apparently there were more at the pre meet spot and a lot of people just stayed there and never cruised over to the beach.
