Fantastic demo! Besides that glorious stereo demonstration (which might be the best I've heard for MOOD2) - your walkthrough of the microlooper has really sold me on the necessity of this. It sounds sooo much better and more flexible than And then the Creating Sounds section was something else - I'm still smiling about your call and response at 24:00!
how can they miss if they've been rehashing the same thing for a decade now? even Knob's table remains the same. it's a safe game of 'happy accidents' nostalgia so to say, for them. Mmk2 is finally somewhat more mature than the mk1, but CB is boring as hell, and worst of all, the sound is theirs, not yours. recognisable but lazy, beautiful but kitschy.
Great demo!! MKII having stereo is a huge upgrade to me. As much as I liked the MKI I was not a fan of it being mono. Both are very cool deep pedals. Endless possibilities. Sounded great
I have a strict new policy with gear, I must sell something to buy something. I could part with my microcosm for this I think. I cannot ever sell my original MOOD. Thanks for the video Federico!
The mood and the microcosm are made for each other in my opinion, they work so wonderfully as a team. not sure if it would change your opinion, but the mk2 has a fallback to classic mode so you are not missing much by selling the OG for the mk2. Other than sentimental value or personal attachment of course, that is also very important.
Hello Federico, Need you’re help please. As long as i can afford only one of them wich one should i chose ; Hologram microcosm. - Mood mk2. - Walrus Fable Please🙏🙏🙏
Curious how do you like this one vs the Microcosm? Maybe you address that in the video, haven't finished yet. Thanks so much for your videos. Best synth channel on TH-cam.
You are always so incredibly thoughtful in your videos. I’m looking for something simple to create drones in the background while I lay down ambient guitar on top. I’m dying to sound like Robin Guthrie’s solo work (of Cocteau Twins). I have an OP-1, along with reverbs and modulation pedals, and thinking about getting this pedal as well. Do you have other videos with the OP-1, creating ambient music and walking us through step by step? You are awesome.
Danks for so good Video and Torturials! Is a good Peda, vor mi its the Roland Boss Re 202 Space Echo and Moog Sub 37 a / Roland Se 02 or a Bad combunation:) can u this Sytht and Fx play to Vermona combinton ples ❤
ciao amico! come stai? from an improvisational live performance perspective, for creating ambient textures, you should also have a look into the soma cosmos maybe. peace and love
Always liked how the Mood sounded on ambient. It's maybe less flashy / gimmicky than the Microcosm, and blends really nicely. Oto sounding huge, as always. Your video setup is looking really great now. Very pleasing warm palettes and space filled and lit nicely. Warmth and splases of colour rather than white. To nitpick slightly (sorry), might be just me ... but in this video the mic / voice setup had a bit of small room boxiness. I don't recall hearing this in your previous videos, which sounded great. Maybe the mic type, placement, or just reflecting a need for a little acoustic treatment in that area to reign in the roominess in the voice recording? Treating the wall area you are speaking directly toward might help? Or for that area, using a mic with deeper off-axis rejection. On a budget Sennheiser MK4, or Oktava MK-012 supercardiod is pretty good, for higher end, DPA 4011A is _excellent_.
yep you are totally right, before I was using a share sm7b, but my wife reclaimed it for her VoiceOver works, so at the moment I am using the zoom h6, which capture too much room. Will upgrade soon to a better solution!
@@OoraMusic yip, have same problem in my studio. By the way, if you dig around you'll find some demos, tips, EQ curves and foam shields / pop filters that get an sm57 sound very very close, and actually better for female vocal than the SM7b. Always worth having an sm57 around, for micing guitar cabs too, since they are so tough, cheap and sound good. With the standard shield on even the visual aesthetic is quite nice. As a stop gap, some de-rooming / de-reverb plugins do a pretty decent job.
because I love to hear comments like this one. Then I relax in my chair thinking about someone like you that lose time criticizing people that are actually doing something with their life. Also, posso scrivere anche in italiano ma dubito tu riesca a capire niente. Un abbraccione !

Mine is arriving next week, I can’t wait! Absolutely beautiful demo
Thanks Tom!
I own the original and wanted to buy a second for stereo processing.
But the fact that it is finally available in stereo is a big win for me.

Hello Federico, Need you’re help please. As long as i can afford only one of them wich one should i chose ; Hologram microcosm. - Mood mk2. - Walrus Fable
Please🙏🙏🙏
What a magical video... Any thoughts on choosing between the Mood and the Microcosm? I feel like both have so much to offer...
I use them both live. Microcosm is a great background filler, while mood is more a foundation to play on top.
thanks
you are welcome!

I use them both, different vibes and really complementary
Well, finally a descent presentation of this pedal. Up to now I wasn’t impressed at all. But then it’s you!
I promise you is great!
That’s what I was thinking too. Bravo!

Hello! May I ask what brand of cable the pink cable between the OP-1 and the Mood II is please? 🙏🏻
It is MyVolts
@@OoraMusic🙏🏻 Thank you.
Can you post a link to the Distorter Filter Compressor right after the Mood in your chain. I could not make out the name.
Oto Boum is the name

why do you try to speak english when you clearly can''t?

What a dumb comment from Ziggy :/
