Extremely SINISTER 411 Cases STILL Unsolved in 2024...

  • People go missing for a variety of reasons, with over half a million people disappearing each year in the United States alone. Some of these disappearances are intentional, while others are due to accidents, crimes, or deaths in locations where the bodies cannot be found.
Unfortunately, some missing person cases remain unsolved for years, causing immense pain and long-lasting effects for family and friends who are left without closure or a funeral. In this video, we will take a closer look at four unexplained disappearances and one unexplained death, all of which have been featured in David Paulides' Missing 411 books and are connected to National Parks. As we all know exploring the wilderness comes with inherent risks such as drowning, falling from mountains, animal attacks, and extreme weather, when all these possibilities have been ruled out and there is still no plausible explanation, could it be that something more supernatural is responsible?

It’s especially worse in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Not only is the Great Smokey Mountains Park the most popular and widely visited National Park, but it’s also one of the National Parks who regularly have tourists and visitors go missing never to be seen or heard again. With that being said, there’s no telling how many people have disappeared.

I live in East Tennessee, about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg where the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is, and let me tell you, there are a lot of people who go missing there. The most famous case is Dennis Martin. The mountains are huge and the Appalachian Mountains themselves are 480 million years old, so it’s honestly no surprise that people do go missing there. There are hidden caves, sink holes, cliff edges, many other openings in the earth that are obscured by the lush vegetation growing both on top of and from the ground. The forests in the SM are dense, and it’s super easy to get lost, even if you are a local. That’s why park rangers heavily advise that you stay on the designated paths. Locals don’t venture from the set trails if that tells you anything. With the Appalachian Mountains being some of the oldest mountains in the world, there’s no telling who or what could be living there in hiding. If you think you’re alone in those mountains, trust me you are not.
EDIT: I also forgot to mention that cellphone service in the Smoky Mountains is awful, so if you do get lost, good luck trying to reach someone.

Cell service is bad everywhere through there unless you are near a tower then it may still not work properly. If anyone does go there please be aware of your surroundings more than usual.

I live in Anchorage, Alaska and I am half Athabascan Indian from a village called Chitina in the Copper river valley about 250 miles drive out into the AK forest. Long before people came up with "Bigfoot" as a name for these creatures my ancestors called them Kol'Eni or "Bush Indians". The type that lives here in Alaska has been taking people away for a very long time. Look at Portluck, Alaska as an example. Over 2000 people vanish in Alaska every single year which is a staggering number for our population. Basically 1 in every 300 of us disappears forever...every single year. They live underground and only come out at night.

Thats not true at all...plenty of people are aware of it...simply judging by the number of books the fraud, David Paulides has sold it is obvious many are aware of it. The reason it is not on mainstream media is due to the facts that Paulides has been caught lying about so many things and it's been proven that most of his supposed cases are not what he makes them out to be! Even before he began the Missing 411 crap he had been in trouble for lying and fraud. It's a shame that there are so many people who are taken in by his BS and don't bother to look a little further by doing a bit of their own research to find out he is a fraud.

These cases are always troubling, but all seem to have one thing in common: the family and sometime searchers, say The missing person would never do this, never do that, etc. but if an item or route etc has been taken, you just can't rule that out. Especially when a person is lost and under duress. Thanks for sharing these names and stories with us. Maybe there will be an update one day.

Agree 100%. I've noticed that's a very common theme in a lot of disappearances. Family and friends presume they know someone's mind and behaviour. "They would have never gotten into a car with a stranger". It's such a limiting presumption to make. If a stranger if charismatic enough, tells a convincing enough story, and has experience getting people into their car then that person who never gets into a stranger's car just might get into a stranger's car...

Thank you for another great video. I've watched all of the Missing 411 videos and movies that I could find. I was impressed with the completely professional way David Paulides analyzed and discussed these cases and the efforts he made to learn more. It is astonishing to me that the national park system does not keep records about these disappearances. And, given the frequency in which people go missing, the fact that they have not (as far as I know) formulated any specific plan to search for people in the parks, it is even more disturbing. I realize these parks are not like 'the park down the street' but massive areas covering thousands of acres, if not miles. Even so, because so many of these parks are in the same regions, something interstate could be set up specifically to address the challenges these parks present. Yet it is not.

It is speculated place being used for something illegal and those people took the guy out. They have people of interest (meth lab people) that are known but do not have any evidence on them.

I'm surprised that no one who covers the stories from the Missing 411 books, ever talks about this one story where a man went missing and was later found and I quote "melted into a barbwire fence".
I'm not sure what video I saw that from, however, it was when the hype of the books started (awhile ago) and he was on someone's TH-cam channel talking about the phenomenon. It was David Paulides himself who said the quote above, I figured someone from these TH-cam channels that covers these stories would eventually cover that particular story.

@@aliasif8498 No, sorry, unfortunately I cannot. It was awhile ago and David Paulides was talking about a bunch of cases and mentioned that one and it stuck with me because 1) the missing person was found, which doesn't happen very much with these cases and 2) he was "melted into a barbwire fence", it was so gruesome and baffling as to how a person could be found in that state.
Sorry, I couldn't be of further help.

in 2021, my dog and i found a body in trash bag, in a freezer in New Hampshire, near Rochester... it was deep in the woods. it took me TWO years to convince a game warden to come look...and buy then, the bones had been eaten and scattered. The game warden wouldn't come AT ALL until i told him that i was a professional large game butcher. ( i am) im ALSO an anthropology student. and thats not how you store "meat" in a trash bag like that. you also dont typically keep and store the LEGS , for example. And deer only have 8 toes( or fingers) not 14, which is how many i found... i live in Maine so after the bones were collected from me, i never really herd anything else...i WAS told that the freezer was from the early 70s.

Wonder why Mike Hearon after mowing the neighbours lawn decided to go out on his ATV? Was that something he usually did? In all these cases were Cadaver Dogs not used? I reckon Sammy Boehlke did hide himself away and then was trapped. When Sammy's Dad got to the top of the peak did he not shout what his Mother did when he was hiding and Police were called "Ok Sammy you are a great hide and seeker you have won?" If he did and he didn't respond then that would be weird unless he was unconscious. Hopefully their are answers soon to these missing people and also how Bart Schleyer did die.

That’s an ignorant statement. Hunting animals is a part of human behavior and culture. Hunting actually is beneficial to many game species in areas where predators have diminished. Many game animals will overpopulate and succumb to starvation and disease if numbers aren’t kept in check. I don’t agree with those that hunt just to kill though.
