This documentary is thoroughly enjoyable and a splendid mini-vacation to New Zealand!
I watched several documentaries about wildlife in Australia, and another one about a train crew who drive their train across the entire length of Australia, from east to west.
Then I thought, 'What about New Zealand? New Zealand is famous for spectacular scenery.'
I also like that Craig talks without those pauses that are so common with documentary presenters.
Thank you much for sharing this excellent documentary!

That James Cook was a busy busy man. He is nearly the only name you hear when talking about discovering/exploring new worlds.

So many nature docs are soured at the end by adding bad news about the doomed, polluted ecosystem or 'our encroaching development' etc. Important cautionary info for sure, but so sad. This doc, however, was full of success stories and other good conservation news that it was many times more enjoyable than even the wonderful photography alone. Thx!
