    I know this is going to sound horrible...but I USED to have a habit of not washing my face. I would get acne all over my face, my cheeks, my chin, and especially my forehead. I got so used to the acne I just didn’t care anymore. Then, I discovered your channel! This channel made me say “I WANT CLEAR SKIN” Now, my acne has been reduced by a huuuuuge amount. If I didn’t discover beauty within, I would have never taken proper care of my self and my skin. 💞💞

      To keep from over cleansing, skip the morning cleanse. Its surprising how wetting your face with water and a baby washcloth works.

    • @evaholicc1
      @evaholicc1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      She talked about it at 16:39. You should always wash your face before and after. I think it’s preferable to do the morning routine with all the serums after the workout.

If it was a lotion of some kind of leave on product then that’d be much worse I guess. But do more research on parabens the fear mongering on them is ridiculous.

    if it fits your skin needs a double cleanse at night and a cleanse in the morning to me, is good especially if you do over night masks or do a leave on lactic acid treatment or exfoliating over night, washing away that dead skin or what ever is left over from your pillow or the air particles will do your skin good! Just think about it :). If you’re using a great cleanser that doesn’t strip away your skin and is gentle I don’t see the harm.

    Yes, I can say that the Clarisonic IS worth every penny because sonic cleaning does work. The others that try to Imitate the product, don’t because their bristles rotate in a circle which drags the skin. The Clarisonic doesn’t, it rotates back & forth slightly to dislodge dirt. There are demos & clinicals if you look it up on here on QVC Clarisonic & watch the videos on it for educational purposes. I’ve had my Clarisonic Mia for at least 13 years & it has really changed my skin for the better. I’m 58 & people say I look about 35.😉

    Hi ladies, I have had acne since I was in 5th grade. Being in my mid 30's, I started getting hormonal cystic acne on my jaw line area. You guys have given me so much hope in finding better products! I love the vibrating cleaning Luna tool. I was wondering if you could do reviews on Derma Doctor cream acne cleanser and acne products. Also Peter Thomas Roth and Murad acne products! These lines have saved my skin. Now I am using The Ordinary and Boscia Clear Complexion line. More direct focus on acne lines and giving your personal review after trying those lines out for a couple of weeks would be great!

    if I wash in the morning, pre-exercise (to remove makeup), post-exercise (to remove sweat), and at night, at what point is overwashing, even with gentle cleanser?
    thanks.

      Joyce Lee I think if you’re overly dry or overly oily, that would show signs of over cleansing. If this is working for you-go ahead, but I would suggest getting a little toner on your Cotton pad and using that to remove sweat after a workout

    Here’s something that i noticed since you mentioned hygiene!!! I happen to use my air pods very often. I recently started getting acne around where my side burns are. I’m not sure if it’s radiation from the Bluetooth that gives me acne, but I know for a fact that touching them, when they’ve been in my ear and putting them on or taking them off has definitely given me acne, even if I think I haven’t touched my face all day. If you own airpods id recommend cleaning them once every two days!!!!

    Anyone else breakout after double cleansing, or from oil cleansers in general, or cleansing after they workout? I've tried three different oil cleansers (Farmacy balm, Neogen, and Muji- all highly raved about ones) and cleansing after sweating, and I just breakout with painful cystic acne. I've found that sticking to just a water cleanse in the AM, then micellar water, water, moisturizer, and then sunscreen in the PM that my face stopped breaking out completely?? I stopped washing my face after working out and it did wonders. Probably because the skin is naturally meant to produce those natural oils to replenish the skin. Don't get me wrong if it works for you great! But it gets so tiring to hear "aesthetician" or "dermatologist" recommended when one size doesn't fit all!! "Recommended" doesn't mean necessary or effective for many :)

      Honestly wearing the same spf all year is perfect. If your skin is more dry during winter just switch up the serums and moisturizer for the extra hydration while your spf product will continue to protect you because thats what it is designed to to..not to keep u hydrated, but to protect your skin from the sun's aging and burning rays aka UVA (aging) and UVB (burning)

    As a biochemist who has acne, here's a advice: avoid all those products that is pretty much filled with harmful chemicals. I personnally use jojoba oil as make up/dirt remover, clean my face with cold saponification soap with ylang ylang and donkey milk (always choose cold saponification soap over warm ones; more difficult to find but way more gentle with skin) then moisturizing belgium cream with rosemary.
