Must be confusing for Manhattan riders when they get to Queens and hear this is an Express N or W train and have to get out of that train to get a local N or W😂😂
@@legomta-munipalssubways2762 my idea was the W to be the only express so people know the W is Express and the N local. That way it be less confusing but you know it means more waiting time in station to get the local N. Their can also be an idea of the W running on the Express track in Manhattan with the Q train all the way to Queens. And the N runs on the local tracks in Manhattan. It just ideas😄
The "N" and "W" should both be local with special "" Lcl-Exp trains. Also if the Second Avenue El'was still around, there could be IRT locals from that line as well.
they should restore the diamond W line. it should be the same route as the normal W but it goes Astoria express to Astoria Ditmars blvd. at rush hour times, it goes express in the opposite direction. late nights, Diamond W goes fully local to Astoria Ditmars blvd.

Miss the r160s. Wish they didn’t have to remove it from the N W and Q lines. The change they should’ve done is put r160s on the r and remove the r46 and add the r46 to the line and leave the r160a/b trains

Wow as someone now living in upstate ny near the Catskills I did not know about the R46s returning to the “N” line (not counting fill in and emergencies detours)on a regular basis since about I think 1987-88. I only noticed the R46s on the “N” line when I was visiting the city during the Christmas/New Years holidays. I only remembered the R46s regularly on the N line as a teen before then the brand R68s arrived. Cool and interesting to see a mix of the 3 newest train fleets (as of early 2020)on the “B” division on the same line “N” and “W” routes at the same time. Ps any reason why the R46s have returned to the “N” line?

The local stops are the busiest so it soulf be no use skipping those unless of course, the train is running behind schedule
