The strawberry isn't scrap. It is very useful. Iit's filled with emery and meant to sharpen your needles and pins. Pins were very valuable. Dampness rusted them.
Michael, I love your sense of humor. It is always a joy to hang out with you and Richard. I think if I had seen the little goobers on sleighs I would have grabbed them all. I was totally fried Thursday afternoon. I have that Grover finger puppet from my childhood...I don't have much from my childhood. It somehow escaped my mother's purging. I saw that bottlebrush Christmas tree. If I wasn't on such a limited budget, I would have bought that for myself.
I love watching you and your husband Richard shopping!!! My husband and I celebrate our 55th anniversary on Jan 4th 2025!! May your and Richard have the same.
We had some of the Sesame Street finger puppets in the 80s when my oldest kids were little. We had Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster. We used to squeeze them and stick them on the kids’ skin 🤣. Now my grandkids play with them, but the plastic isn’t as soft anymore, so they don’t “squeeze” very well. They had a lot of nice things at the Extravaganza….but no cats.
Yay, Richard made it! Love watching you two shopping and the different items you are attracted to. Thanks for taking us all along. Hope to make it to one of the Springfield event in the future.
Hello Michael and Richard there was so much pretty glass there but I was loving the bottle brush tree at 25 or so what a good idea thanks for letting us tag along with y’all it was fun 🦋🎃🦋👻
I love watching your videos. I simply adore you and Richard. I have learnt so much about collecting precious items from you. And Louie and Grace just make me smile. So cute.
You are so fun. Gee whiz, I dunno if I have a favorite. It’s all so cool. I’m a sucker for vintage Xmas. I have a problem.🤣😬I’m trying to limit myself to an occasional really good deal and clear crystal Xmas trees because they’re so versatile. I figure if I eventually scale back that I can always rock a Xmas crystal tree collection. Love your happy sound effects. I sorta do that too when I see the proverbial dopamine object of desire in sight.Never let the vendor see your excitement!😂

That’s what I’ve always thought too!
This is correct my Grammy was a seamstress and told me this as a kid...
The fabric it is made out of is scrap, not the actual item itself.

It’s interesting the colors of glass we gravitate to- I love the pinks and blues !
I definitely have some pinks and blues in this weeks sale!!
Love the photo of Mr and Mrs Tom thumb. So many great things to talk about. The insert for the Halloween Event was Epic! Can't wait to attend!
What a FABULOUS COLLECTION OF GLASS!!❤
OMG! This is ridiculous, but I really want the saddle shoes in the background while you were singing about bamboo and craving a sweet tea lol !!
My favorite was your last find. The rainbow swung vase. I think that is what it was. Beautiful.
What a steal on that flower frog at $10

I knew small swung vases were going to go up in value. I prefer the smaller ones because they take up less space and are just so cute.
Love the Westmoreland compote, Richard!!
Love the vintage brass , wreath like lamp!!!
That bottle was my favorite find!
2 of my favorite peeps 😊 enjoyed the video
Thank you, Dawn! ❤️

The stall with the Christmas !
have a Westmoreland compote just like that in yellow satin glass, very unusual. Beautiful glass!
I love the tiny swung vases.
I love when you shop with Richard.
The strawberry on the tomato was for sharpening your needles. It was filled with some kind of gravelly material.

The little people wedding photo! She's the widow of General Tom Thumb and the story of her second marriage is pretty juicy!!
I was SO stoked to have found it! So glad I moved the radioactive sign!!
Great gets! ❤❤❤
