I feel like iQiyi is rigging the rankings, but not as bad as Mnet. I knew they'd rig it so that Shaking Chloe would rank 9th, Produce shows always do that to the talented but less visual trainee (visual by East Asian standards), rig the ranks until they'rd rank last. They've been also giving Esther Yu less screen time, of course, less screen time = fewer votes, obviously, they don't want her as the final center. Xin Liu is the best center we can ask for though, so I'm not complaining much, but the rigging is so obvious. An Qi, too---she always ranked higher, but she's getting less screentime lately, I hope the Top 9 stays as it is because it's hella perfect, just with different ranks.

For some reasons, I like both Xiu Lin and Esther Yu. However, if I have to choose, Xin Liu will become the center and Esther Yu will be the leader. Basically Esther Yu is someone who brings laughter to others and a kind-hearted trainee. However, if I have to compare, Esther Yu is not as talented as Xin Liu
honestly youth with you isnt abt talent, it's about screentime. the best example of this is how nobody noticed yu yan until iqiyi decided to give her screentime. then she suddly jumped to such high rankings. honestly i think she puts in a lot of work, but it's so sad also because other trainees could also be working hard like her and we wouldn't know. shaking and an qi also deserve so much more for their talent, but aren't given enough screentime so their ranks are dropping. quite sad :(
Of course this is not talent show like asian got talent.... this is survival become member of idol group show like others survival show... and in my opinion, entertaining trainee/unique trainee always get more screentime than quite/less act trainee to make the interesting show and gain viewers.... of course we as viewers want the interesting show each episodes that not boring because its not always show about performance right....maybe about yu yan she's be noticed because her performance in 1st vocal assesment..... and for shaking and anqi, there must have been drop and rise rank right like kiki and snow kong so i think that is normal because if kiki and snow kong drop too there is many people like "why they dropped" now its kiki and snow kong turn rise their rank haha maybe next shaking and anqi will rise again

ARTIST are more focused and known for their vocals, rap and dance but has low charisma and appeal. IDOLS are artists that need to quickly grab people’s attention. In SIXTEEN when jyp was hosting he said the same thing, idols and artist are different which is the reason why Dahyun and Tzuyu from twice even become an idol. Dahyun lacked Singing and dancing she could barely rapped at the time but what did she have? Charisma. I think iQiyi is editing the episodes in Xin Liu's favor, notice how Xin Liu has a lot of screentime now than Esther, they don't want Esther Yu to be center for sure, I don't know about An Qi's screentime since I don't really follow her but she's dropping in ranks and that's not good and she deserves better.
If this ranking is real which I think it is it shows this show is a total popularity contest just like the year Cai Xikun was in idol producer when You Zhangjing who was by far the best singer every single round didn’t even make top 10. Xinwen Xu was by far the best vocal and until last round she was on verge of elimination. She got some screen time and jumped 40 spots but to little to late. IQIYI finds out who they make the most ratings from and televises them and their ratings jump. Aria Jin and Sharon are a perfect example. Both are visuals and Sharon was ranked 4th when she was the focus of the episodes. Aria got way more screen time and they switched spots.
Now that some of you have lost your faves (I've just lost my China Girl, Yu Zhang, Bunny Zhang, Meddhi Fu and Xinwen Xu T_T), this time, let's transfer our votes to these key personalities: 1. i think this is true. yep an qi & shaking, their ranks dropped a lot. i still dont understand why. if both of them debut in the top 9, i believe that an qi will be the main dancer of the group and shaking will be the main rapper. but their rankings does not suit their presence and talent. both of them should be at least rank in top 3 or top 5. this is the best rank for them. i hope both of their rankings rise up in the final.

There was definitely waaaaaay less Esther in episode 19 which made me very sad.

honestly youth with you isnt abt talent, it's about screentime. the best example of this is how nobody noticed yu yan until iqiyi decided to give her screentime. then she suddly jumped to such high rankings. honestly i think she puts in a lot of work, but it's so sad also because other trainees could also be working hard like her and we wouldn't know. shaking and an qi also deserve so much more for their talent, but aren't given enough screentime so their ranks are dropping. quite sad :(
Of course this is not talent show like asian got talent.... this is survival become member of idol group show like others survival show... and in my opinion, entertaining trainee/unique trainee always get more screentime than quite/less act trainee to make the interesting show and gain viewers.... of course we as viewers want the interesting show each episodes that not boring because its not always show about performance right....maybe about yu yan she's be noticed because her performance in 1st vocal assesment..... and for shaking and anqi, there must have been drop and rise rank right like kiki and snow kong so i think that is normal because if kiki and snow kong drop too there is many people like "why they dropped" now its kiki and snow kong turn rise their rank haha maybe next shaking and anqi will rise again

Before y’all start falling about Esther and say other should’ve took her place lemme tell you something, yes I agree that there are many girls who are eliminated and more talented than Esther but theres difference between being an IDOL and an ARTIST. ARTIST are more focused and known for their vocals, rap and dance but has low charisma and appeal. IDOLS are artists that need to quickly grab people’s attention. In SIXTEEN when jyp was hosting he said the same thing, idols and artist are different which is the reason why Dahyun and Tzuyu from twice even become an idol. Dahyun lacked Singing and dancing she could barely rapped at the time but what did she have? Charisma. Tzuyu lacked Dance Rapping and Can’t sing very well but her visual appeal others and made twice popular.

If this ranking is real which I think it is it shows this show is a total popularity contest just like the year Cai Xikun was in idol producer when You Zhangjing who was by far the best singer every single round didn’t even make top 10. Xinwen Xu was by far the best vocal and until last round she was on verge of elimination. She got some screen time and jumped 40 spots but to little to late. IQIYI finds out who they make the most ratings from and televises them and their ratings jump. Aria Jin and Sharon are a perfect example. Both are visuals and Sharon was ranked 4th when she was the focus of the episodes. Aria got way more screen time and they switched spots.

i think this is true. yep an qi & shaking, their ranks dropped a lot. i still dont understand why. if both of them debut in the top 9, i believe that an qi will be the main dancer of the group and shaking will be the main rapper. but their rankings does not suit their presence and talent. both of them should be at least rank in top 3 or top 5. this is the best rank for them. i hope both of their rankings rise up in the final.
