The video game is a separate canon than the anime and the manga. It merges many of the elements together (such as Beryl's generals working for Mamoru). Besides, if anyone deserves death, it's the Opposite Senshi from that game.

Don't worry - Berthier will make a return in the game _Tristania 2_ as a strategist. She'll even be playable for one level. Stripped of her powers, she'll be usin' a CPA-26 Rail Driver to eliminate enemies.
