I have a lavender Cricut Air 2 and a Rose Maker that I want to dress up. I already did my Cricut joy just the way you did yours and it turn out beautiful I love it. However it doesn't have the template for the explore air 3. I tried using the explore air template and see the length is only 12" width. It's too short. This video shows the template is about 14/15". I know you mentioned not to adjust the size but what do you recommend I do?

love it! all my machines have their own personality and decorations to go with it. Joy, cute sporty, so beach theme. Explore air 2 is the twilight color so she is darker themed. Her name is Twilight and she has a quote by Edgar Allen Poe and some crows and darker natured things. The maker is the boss! So she is named after my sons favorite WWE female wrestler Sasha Banks, who is known as the Legit Boss. So the makers name is Sasha, and she has beautiful purple butterflies to represent Lupus awareness. I also talk to my machines daily and my sons think im crazy :)
I would love to see pictures of your EA 2 if you are willing to post some! I have a dark machine as well and am looking for some inspiration for decorating it.

Search for the Cricut heat guide. It gives you lots of heat/temp/material settings and instructions. Remember though to always test first, your machine might not behave in the same way as the Easy press
So this is really random but if anyone could answer this I would appreciate it. So I just bought a Cricut maker and it came with a blue and pink mat one says fabric and one says light grip. Can I use the blue light grip for regular vinyl? Do I need a green mat like I always see in videos?

The blue mat is perfect for regular vinyl. You may find the green mat is better if using a glitter vinyl however, as it’s a thicker material.

The decor on my machine before was made from printable vinyl and I just used a weeding tool to gently and slowly pull it off!
