    Wow the joys of finding a completely undetected area of land and non stop silvers, if only we could find such a place, well done for getting permission, there is one local Council near us that allow detecting with a permit but it has been heavily done over the years, we have subscribed and look forward to seeing plenty more silver from that park. All the best from Wendy and Jon in Derbyshire 🙂🙂

      Thank you for watching. I think there are too many signals in the ground and there are good separation machines.

    First time watching, I’m in Australia most parks and play grounds and you don’t need a permit or permission except if it’s a sports field or botanical gardens then you would need permission, I always ask for permission first then no one can dispute whether or not you should be there, if my silver coins are badly stained I use electrolysis only for a minute and then rub between your fingers with bicarbonate of soda and they come out beautiful . I have subscribed and liked

      Only use electrolysis on silver coins it will destroy copper coins.
      Just for those that don’t know any coins before 1920 are 925 silver and from 1921 to 1946 is 50% silver and from 1947 they are copper/Nickel

    10 milled silvers in one day. 😲. Most farm detectorists would struggle to get near that figure in a whole year. 😳. I am quite sure way back in the day one of us found a badge just like that lion clan badge. 🤔. Well found Ste. 🙂.

      @@mudsharksteve6720 Yes. The odd milled in good condition does come from farm fields that little Charles 11 penny you found is a good example. 🙂. I tend not to say to much of what I find but my favourite milled silver of all time come from a field I got an invite to from brothers club before I joined and that is a Charles II Shilling 1675. 🙂. If I actually remember rightly you were actually there on that weekend. 😀.

    How did you clean your Silver coins

    • @mudsharksteve6720
      @mudsharksteve6720  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Renaissance liquid, Soak for 12 hours, soft brush. Wouldn't recommend hammered coins unless crusty. It would eventually remove the toning. It all depends if you want shiny coins. Thank you for your comment.

    • @mudsharksteve6720

      I know it can be difficult. The head office has given out permissions rather than the local offices. Some parks have restrictions, not owned but maintained by the council. I've heard they are detecting in Kirkcaldy parks without being challenged. Always show that you have experience, third party insurance. Reach the correct department. Hopefully you will get success.

    Surely what matters is permission from the landowner ?If that's not the local council, why talk to them.
