- Sam and Bucky have another disagreement about Sam’s decision to give Walker the shield. They are interrupted by Captain America and Battlestar, who demand that they surrender Zemo. Sam argues that Zemo has been helpful and that Captain America messed up his chance to reason with Karli.
Captain America challenges Sam to a fight and drops his shield. Ayo and two other Dora Milaje members enter the room and confront Captain America. Ayo throws her spear near him and then attacks him with her fists. Captain America picks up the shield and tries to fight back, but he is outnumbered by the Dora Milaje.
Sam tells Bucky that they should intervene, and Bucky reluctantly joins the fight and stops Ayo from stabbing Captain America. He tries to calm them down, but they turn on him as well. Sam also gets involved, and Zemo takes the opportunity to escape to the bathroom and lock himself in.
Ayo disarms Bucky by detaching his metal arm and then realizes that Zemo has escaped through a hidden exit. The Dora Milaje leaves the room, and Bucky reattaches his arm. Captain America complains that he was overpowered by the Dora Milaje, who are not even super soldiers. Sam and Bucky confirm that Zemo is gone, and find out that he used a drain pipe to get away.

@@louisianimal24 I'm referring to the moves they made in the fight. Not as to why they won. Yes, they're clearly better trained. But they are not super soldiers and they're not amp up by the herb, like the BP, so they should not be able to make those jumps (Unless the vibranium was charge with energy from a hit which it wasn't) or have that level of strength.

Yeah he was given a reality check. Hot headed boys like him always will get that at some point if they don't already. That's how they grow. For better, or worse. In John Walker's case, he almost went down hill or south when his comrade died at the hands of those flag smashers albeit an accident. But I totally felt this man's shame and rage. He had so much expectations laden on him and he worked his ass off so hard, going the extra mile and dreaming of the day he could somehow become like the hero he looked up to aka captain America and when he finally did, he got put down every instance by Steve's former comrades and in his first mission, he was constantly outgunned and the American government only gave him more pressure. At the hearing of his discharge, you can see how unfair it was and the true villain here at times, it's the government or the people in it with agendas. Switching as and when they like and writing off who they deem unfitting. Poor Walker has dropped out of their interests and he felt betrayed and just lost a friend, the shield and broken an arm in a fight got his ass kicked too by two people he actually also respected before coming on board only to be rudely disappointed as mentioned by how they looked down on him, or I wouldn't say they were looking down on him, maybe undermining him a little because of how attached they were to Steve, and Walker was also as mentioned too impulsive, immature, full of himself, yes, arrogant. Arrogance was his downfall. As the saying goes, pride comes before a fall.
He wasn't screwing around! It's the opposite Sam and Bucky are having drinks with a terrorist, then Walker hunts them down to take Zemo to prison! Then these crazy ho's start trying to stab him because he touched her shoulder.
The GRC set him up for failure. Even Steve Rogers had like a year doing PR before going into his first mision. They gave him no support whatsoever.

Yeah to me after rewatching John Walker and Lamar are the Unsung heroes of the series. Sam and Bucky have been acting like complete asshole to them for no good reasons. John and Lamar didnt choose the job to be the new Cap n Bucky it chose them. Sam the one who give the shield away. And their bitching about because it blew up on their faces.

Lot of people here scoffing at how the fight started when John touched her shoulder and I'm sitting here thinking how that was situation that needed to be de-escalated and those are 100% "no touchy" situations. The Dora Milajae were clearly expecting a fight and the one John touched didn't know if he was going to follow that up with an attack, so she moved first.
Remember kids: de-escalation means using your *words* not your hands.

The Vibranium for the shield was gifted to Howard stark to fight the Nazis. Stark gave it to Steve Rodgers and Steve Gave it to same. Sam turned it over to the Feds and the Feds gave it to John. Ultimately everyone who’s had the shield has “rightfully” had the shield. It’s not their place to take it away if it’s not being used to hurt people and they know that. It was given freely and belongs to whoever has it…. I’m sure they’d take it away if it was stolen or being used by a villain though.

correct me if I am wrong, none of them have super soldier serum and the only augmentation is Bucky's arm which they had cheat codes for since it was made by Wakanda for him.
It is implied the Dora Minaji are breed for their purpose, they are essentially customized children than trained to be elite warriors from childhood.
I say this outcome, especially since it is 3v2 in favor of the Dora for most of the fight, makes a lot of sense. If Sam, James, Battlestar, and John weren't opposing each other and all worked together from the start maybe this is less of a powdering. And I am pretty sure Steve solos the three of them. Assuming they even opted to engage and not talk. The Witch, Strange, Thor, or Vision probably is something they aren't going to beat. If Tony is familiar with the properties of vibranium to resist the spears, he should be able to hand the three of them in nano seconds as well. I am pretty sure they would lay out Natahsa and Clint just as quickly.
and let's keep in mind, even though she isn't here and is clearly a cut above rank and file, Obokye 1v1 slew Corvius Glaive in Endgame.

Yes and no Sam’s ok in a fight but being in the room really effects how he fights limiting what we can do, as for Bucky he’s trying really hard not to be the winter soldier and he sees the kings guard (I have a learning disability I’m not even going to try to spell there name) as comrades in arms he’s not even fighting at half strength. Now haveing said that the kings guard are more or less chosen from mother to daughter of the best fighters in their country and given to the guard as potential wives to the black panther I’d put a basic member in the same group as say a ranger one of the lower level special forces group in the us army the higher skill ones probably match up with seals and the like

The Dora acted completely out of line here. Multiple of their attacks would have proven lethal if not blocked and they made multiple of these attacks without having been provoked to use lethal force. Attacking a civilian of another country let alone a government official of another country who your country isn’t officially associated with could also be considered a declaration of war in the real world if these Wakandan soldiers weren’t properly punished. Everything they did was foolish and reflected poorly on their country

It baffles me how people shit on John in this scene. His only “fault” was not being Steve Rogers. He didn’t steal Cap’s shield, his country chose him after Sam declined the position.
He had jurisdiction to be there under the Sokovia Accords, while everyone else in the room didn’t. Yet he still offered to work with everyone and the ladies who apparently have jurisdiction “wherever they find themselves to be” spat in his face. And Sam a fellow American just thought this all fine and dandy.
Yeah John had his issues but he was definitely not at fault here!
You forget that Zemo killed their King, was in jail, and now out walking around with Avengers as if nothing was wrong. Your assumption is that Fake Cap was supposed to be regaled by the Dora when they were there to bring Zemo back to prison. The Dora knew that Zemo was out and couldnt trust the entire room of people. This is an assumption that a superior group of fighters are supposed to yield because they arent American. Your personal feelings are getting involved with what is right and wrong in the eyes of all. He probably didn't know much about them. But don't knock John's skill. He was more than capable of handling the combined effort of Sam and Bucky once he got his hands on the serum. You don't just magically become a proficient fighter when taking it.
I really didn't like the premise of this show too much. From what I remember, Steve gave it to Sam and neither Sam nor Bucky wanted it, so the government took it and gave it to John. John was a soldier told by the US government to be the new Captain America and was teying his best but Sam and Bucky got jelous and started treating him like crap for what 😭. Like yeah, he can never properly replace Steve, and he may even not be fully worthy of the title, but the government literally chose him and he was excited to fight for his country! I wish they changed the plot and character motivations to make the story more satisfying and the chracters more likable (For both the Cap storyline and Karli storyline). Maybe I forgot some important details though... I kind of started forgetting the show like the week after I finished and it's been like a year since then so...
