I bought it in Smyrna, TN Just outside of Nashville. It is a 1994 Delica Starwagon. 4x4 Diesel. About 22 miles to the gallon. Seats for 8. All fold into a flat area for a bed. I love it.
Thank you Patrick! Another video coming.... I am going to try to edit it with overlays and such... very time consuming.. but hopefully helpful for views wanting call sign copy practice.
Thanks for sharing thr video Ed. Thete is no video editing software compatible with my Chromebook so I havent pursued documenting my equipment or activations. I just received my Faraday sheild cloth and grommet kit so I can replace my aluminum window screen with something more portable. I will try to documemt my test results on a couple verticals, EFHW, etc compared with my previous built counterpoise builds. Happy Nee Year & Cheers, Davey --KU9L
Great question. I find the tripod is great quality. It is heavy and not flimsy at all. Drawbacks: uneven ground. Fix: I can always find a stick or rock to place under a foot to level it. Wind: in open ground with no trees, wind will blow over the antenna. Fix: I use 2 one dollar tent stakes and a bungee cord . I will make a video showing this. Ground spike: I often had to re stake because from one angle I thought I was straight, but the other angle it was leaning. Small lean at the ground, was a big lean up top. End story, I am 100% tripod user. Great question. Thank you.
@@W4EMB Ed, I really appreciate the info..thank you. I would look forward to a video to see the MC-750 tripod setup. I bought a used MC-750 a few weeks ago but haven't gotten to try it yet. I'm going to go ahead and order the tripod. And thanks again for all the code practice videos (and for being my teacher in LICW last year). I see you spotted in Northern California but never heard you yet. Will keep listening. Hope for a P2P one day. 73

That 3d case for the TPiii is pretty slick! Your video was the First time seeing that. I found a link for the files for it on the BaMakey website.
Awesome! It really protects it nicely. Thanks to my friend Frank for the gift!
Would love to know more about your van. A JDM right hand drive van surely has an interesting story behind it…

Thanks for the info Ed. How do you rate the tripod for the MC750? Couple reviews I read weren’t super complimentary. 73 sir
