If you want to hear better, lower the volume of the amplifier, I must be at most halfway, and raise the gain of the mixer, you must not see the red both in the amplifier and in the mixer, you will hear better, less distortion and the instruments will last longer . I hope I was helpful. See you soon
Perhaps the use of such concert speakers instead of household speakers does not make sense? since there is no low bass and the sound is not designed for small rooms, is it really so?
Hola Walter Álvarez, y qué tal tu experiencia del sonido de esos parlantes con instrumentos o con orquesta, lo as probado? T agradecería esa información
I have 4 of these things they are a good speaker if you have another system to run top end these speakers in my case did not do the top end really well And they are definitely not under power Maybe it could just be my setup but yeah my honest opinion
i used two jbl like these whit peavey gps 3500 1200 w x2 to 4 ohms all nigth in a xv party whith driver high changed the sound is aaaammmmaaazzziiinnng. more power more spl. specs honest 1000 watts a 4 ohms (program). ah ! too use this jbl whith a mixer amp. 350 w a 4 ohms y the sound is incredible strong and clear... like magic.
These cabs are rated for 4ohms each... In my thinking, (2) 4ohm cabs run in stereo mode from an amp drops the ohm load to 2ohms. The specs for this amp says that a 2ohm load isn't allowed. The main features of the DAP Audio Palladium P-1600 PA Power Amplifier include: Output Power, 1000 Hz, THD+N at 1%, Both Channels Driven: Stereo mode: 8 Ohm: 2x 600 Watt RMS 4 Ohm: 2x 900 Watt RMS 2 Ohm: Not Allowed Bridge mode: 8 Ohm: 1800 Watt RMS 4 Ohm: Not Allowed
You are wrong. Single channel will be 4ohm. If you connect both box on single channel output, that will bring the ohm load down. Stereo channels are separated from each other. Unless you bridge it in mono.
Bob Idris is right.. If you daisy chained 2 of these per channel you could drop to 2ohms but need to make sure your amp can handle to ohm load plus the wattage. You wouldn't want to try to push 2 of these under 1000w load/channel since these are 500w rms per.
these boxes are real monsters, love JBL, thanks for the video!
Nice video, I think you've convinced me to get these. For nights when it's metal and electronic only.
Beautiful sound JBL
