    Question: you mentioned that you were using Baking Powder, but the box read Baking Soda.
    Which one should actually be added to the recipe?
    Thanks in advance

    Have you ever used Vanilla Nut Extract?? I'm sure you have bc you def seem to know what's good in the kitchen!! I had never heard of it before & my ex-mother in law told me that was one of her secrets to her Peach Cobbler. That stuff has the perfect touch.

    Don’t over mix your batter. That is too much mixing. Your cake will be dense and won’t have a good crumb.

    You used baking soda and you are calling it baking powder. . Please adjust your recipe because there is a huge difference between baking soda and baking powder.

    • @GarilynAmare

      @@GarilynAmare - cream cheese is not in the recipe either. You did not list the extracts either. You did not include the vanilla wafers either. I want to make this, that is why I am telling you what I found by watching you and reading your recipe. Adding baking powder to this would ruin the cake, not having the cream cheese may not ruin it, and not having the extracts would certainly affect the flavor. I am not trying to be rude, just trying to help you! God Bless!

    • @GarilynAmare
      @GarilynAmare  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pjfoltz8810 I appreciate your constructive criticism & I wanted to let you know that both the cream cheese & extracts are listed above the vanilla wafers in the recipe. I know it’s a ton of ingredients & wish I could highlight those key ingredients. Let me know how your cake turns out❤️
