Justin never fails to deliver the perfectly modded vehicle! This Escalade V is on a whole different level….and huge props to Steve for making it happen.
That metal cowl has some nuts and glue holding it to the body. A heat gun releases from the body fairly easy. GM tech here. We take them off all the time.
Probably some hi-flow cats. But literally that's it. Given emissions restricts GM has to abide by. I'd say they knocked the V right out of the park from the factory!
I work at GM Wentzville and the Colorado/Canyon metal cowl does remove. If you remove the wiper arms and plastic cowl you may see the same on the Escalade. Also the wipers motor has to be removed to pull the metal cowl.
Its not as bad as it sounds, specially once you have it off the amount of space you get is crazy! That has to be removed to work on the 3.0 duramax when doing rear glow plugs or other stuff back there, separating the glue is the hardest part
I don’t get it trackhawks are still super popular and people will pay crazy money for them but the Escalade v not a lot of people are buying them this will go down just like the cts v wagons after they are discontinued people will want them
GM tech again, all the lower cowls come off on 19/20-24 GMC/Chev/Cadillac trucks and SUV’s. Once the plastic cowl, wipers arms, few other small things and the wiper motor are out of the way there’s like 12-15 fasteners holding it in and then you have to work the glue appart to separate it and get it off.. the hood can stay on during this process, sometimes taking off one prop strut makes it easier to get it on and off. Most of the engine service procedures on the 1500 LM2’s and LZ0’s diesels (truck or SUV) require this cowl to come off. The glue on some vehicles separates a lot easier then others.. some of the are real stuck on haha.
Correct the cowl has some 10 mm nuts/bolts, and then you have to pull on it to break the seal. Some come right off. Some are harder. But it takes like 10/15 minutes max to do this vs, struggling for hours to get the rear sc bolt and what not out. I pull the cowl off on ats-v, ct4-v bw, and the escalade v's when I work on them. The ct5-v blackwing I don't do this to as it has lots of room all around the engine.
I’ve got a V hoping to do the cold air, porter blower, smaller pulley and tune. It definitely lacks mid range etc needs more power. How big of a difference did you notice after doing all of this?
So on awd you can pull the front drive shaft n have 2wd I got a 2015 n my dad said it won’t work because the transfer case or something I feel like he’s telling me that save me money tho
@StangkilrProductions just trying to help out. You said in videos the metal part of cowl doesn't come off. It does and pretty easy. 15 mins to save a few hours of pain is worth it to me.
I believe that transfer case is only allowing 70% to rear 30 to front or maybe that's the older style and when u doing a burnout possible the traction control or stabilitrak is not seeing the front wheels moving is Why idk 🤔 but still rad asf I got to see my first one at the local grocery store the other day in 8 inches of snow lol low an behold Kane brown was driving it lol 😆 sweet ride and vid my guy frfr
What happened to the 2018? Im currently building a 2019 ESV platinum sport into a V wanna be. Ive done ZR1 front calipers with the 16.25" rotors and C7 rear brakes, belltech 2/4 drop, corsa sport, and 24" V reps, just Waiting on the Whipple Gen V 3.0L to show up. Already have BTR AFM/VVTI delete kit ready to go in when the blower shows up.
Escalade V hell yeah!! Should we do the CT5V Blackwing next?
Absolutely freaking yes 💯
I'd love to see a blackwing Cadillac engine in a 96 to 01 Olds Aroura
Should that even be a question? Absolutely Yes!
Hell yea
Well, he'll yes
Justin never fails to deliver the perfectly modded vehicle! This Escalade V is on a whole different level….and huge props to Steve for making it happen.
Appreciate your support man! You an OG!
That metal cowl has some nuts and glue holding it to the body. A heat gun releases from the body fairly easy. GM tech here. We take them off all the time.
I always hate taking them off
Same here. I pull em off when they spin crank bearings and I have to swap the motor
These videos make me want to go in debt to get a V🔥🔥
Nothing in this world u can't get out of besides ya death bed...go for it lol
I'm getting me one and the color will be caffeine metallic
Sounds perfect, wouldn't change a thing on the exhaust 👌🏼
It's crazy how good this thing sounds from the factory 🤤
Probably some hi-flow cats. But literally that's it. Given emissions restricts GM has to abide by. I'd say they knocked the V right out of the park from the factory!
LOVE IT, the dedication the hurdle jumps and the beautiful beast itself, amazing work and persistence
Steve is the man. He does great work on all your builds...hats off to you my dude
Wheels/tires and stance is so dam perfect
I literally work on these V’s at work and I’ve always wanted to see a burnout and them being pushed to the limits but man finally 😂props to you 💪🏼
Are you usually maintaining or repairing? If repairing what are the most common issues you see?
From all the v8 suvs the Escalade it’s the best it looks so good
that sound absolutely perfect no less or more chop, for a family car of course
That is one bad ass sounding and running Caddy, Justin! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!

Not really saying it can’t but it’s a decent amount of work.

Does a V have cylinder deactivation? I hate that it kills GM engines. Hoping the V does not. Thanks
So the cowl does come off you need to separate it unbolt it then when reinstalling use new sealer on the sides that need sealing
Yes sir, the cowl comes off with a few 10 mm and rtv sealant, blk if I remember along with the wet windows security and safety visibility contraption
I don’t get it trackhawks are still super popular and people will pay crazy money for them but the Escalade v not a lot of people are buying them this will go down just like the cts v wagons after they are discontinued people will want them
The Escalade is way more expensive than a Trackhawk
It’s not a matter of people wanting them, it’s a matter of people being able to drop $160k to get one.
Love passing by these shop
You never fail to disappoint brother 💪🏽 keep up the hard work man !
Much appreciated!
Never fail to disappoint? So he always disappoints
Awesome! Sounds great with stock exhaust. If I ever can swap my stock 2010 CTS -V, stock exhaust will stay.
Good job Steve, genius work!
For a big SUV that thing is a pure monster, about the only cadillac I like.
Very cool Justin. Badass school bus!!!😮

If you have an email address I’ll send you some pictures of a vehicle when we have one appart for service !
Nothing sounds better than an 8 cyl cammed
The cowl comes out it just has sealer that is supposed to be cleaned off and new sealer applied when reinstalling
Sounds like a pain in the ass
@@StangkilrProductions it’s not fun! Have to do it to work on Chevys 3.0 liter diesel motors
Correct the cowl has some 10 mm nuts/bolts, and then you have to pull on it to break the seal. Some come right off. Some are harder. That’s perfect not too exaggerated just right amount of Power & sound 😮💨🔥🔥
Yes. CT5 Blackwing should be next.

Will you have anything for a 2024 Ford Explorer ST???
Stage 1 cam is plenty. Have it in my ZL1 build and drives great with the stock convertor.
Kooks long tubes next please 🥺
No sir! Want to keep it quiet
I thought AWD transfer cases don't like running without a front driveshaft?
These do
@StangkilrProductions Okay, can't wait for the next video!
Holy shit that thing sounds bad ass I’m for sure saving up for a Escalade V and a cam
What size wheels are those? They look great…
What’s the shop book for hours for a cam swap on these new LT engines? Compared to LS
Can you provide a link to the exact wheels that are on this Escalade.
That’s soo sick out of my league but What’s the offset on the wheels
Thanks for the smiles today !
This in blue springs mo?.. thought I saw brass Armadillo by the highway. Might come through for a cam.
Grain Valley
@@StangkilrProductions awesome!.. show me state.
Escalade V yeah 👍
Fuk yea now we are talking that’s sick ❤
Maybe for do burnouts you need the little connector for obd2 that rest of people use on the trx
I wish they made those for GM vehicles. They don’t though :(
Hello, could I know what is the make and model of the rims please?
that behind the V shot, listening to that exhaust note.... if you don't have a big grin on your face, WHO EVEN ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU HERE? lol
What wheels and tires are you running and what suspension drop?
I got 2002 4.8 how much do you charge to do half rebuild for the engine chevrolet discount the engine
Never was a caddy guy but man that thing is sweet😮
How much is this upgrade? Does this void the warranty?
What wheels are you running on the V
Is there gonna be section for OBS? With weld wheels
Yup!
Did you bleed the radiator or you forgot it?
Every video of the V I watch I want it that much more lol. Just need the ESV for the kids lol
I wish I could afford an Escalade V lol. I might just turbo my 07 Escalade as a cheap substitute for now
Will there be an exhaust set up for this beauty?
I prefer the stock exhaust
What percent tint are these, I want to do mine just like this
Wow that sounds amazing‼️‼️
We are your Internet experts but that don't help I agree bro 🎉❤ love the vids bro keep doin the Gm rides yessir 💯
Hell yeah brother!! Dew it for Dale!!!
So on awd you can pull the front drive shaft n have 2wd I got a 2015 n my dad said it won’t work because the transfer case or something I feel like he’s telling me that save me money tho
It’s weird some will not work by pulling the front DS
@@StangkilrProductions so just do it and hope it works 😂
How much power did it put down?
Need information to get my escalade v cam
What kind of wheels are those? Sounds awesome
Velgen
How would you make the blower super loud without having to mess with a ton of stuff
Really no way to make it louder without added a tune required intake or pulley that would require a tune
When will the hats be added to the website
Does anyone on your team know why my 2017 Escalade makes a single chime every time I come to a complete stop? I can’t figure it out 🤦♂️
Regarding the website, any 14’ + gmc chevy packages/kits available? Sierra etc
We have tons! Email me at justin@killerperformamcekc.com
They thing is NASTY 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tune her up she will get choppier & maybe a corsa exhaust ? 👀
Link to those side marker lights?!? 13:51
eBay!
I believe on the CT4 and CT5 Blackwing cars the cowls come off but not the escalades makes it so much easier sucks these don’t get that
Justin, y'all rock! Peace ✌️
Where can i send you a picture of the escalade v i worked on with the cowl removed?
I’m not removing the cowl and bond glue for two freaking bolts on a blower lid lol.
@StangkilrProductions just trying to help out. You said in videos the metal part of cowl doesn't come off. It does and pretty easy. 15 mins to save a few hours of pain is worth it to me.
I’m new to the channel I love it so far! What all is done to your V? I have a sterling silver one and am very curious
Just watch and see 😁
How much to have this done?
There’s a guy on instagram who does burn outs with Escalades
We definitely need some video footage of the lifted gmc and everything you had done to it!
Yes! Once the weather clears up. That truck is a bad unit
The new “CTS V wagon”
Love it, guys!
You have one nice collector item!
What’s the hp now?
Not to be rude but is this the same guy who sold an OBS to ondgas
I believe that transfer case is only allowing 70% to rear 30 to front or maybe that's the older style and when u doing a burnout possible the traction control or stabilitrak is not seeing the front wheels moving is Why idk 🤔 but still rad asf I got to see my first one at the local grocery store the other day in 8 inches of snow lol low an behold Kane brown was driving it lol 😆 sweet ride and vid my guy frfr

He sold it a few months ago, I think someone offered him a number he couldn’t refuse.
Sounds good but I was hoping for a harder chugg
Love your videos bro
How much is this package?
Sounds like my Jaguar XFRS 😊
Very nice job Steve!
What wheels are thoughs on Escalade?
Velgen 24x10.5
Any cowl comes out with a sawzall
That Shelby should be a factory five kit car and if it is, they are very good quality
It is!
Steve is the 🐐
What a unit 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sounds pretty good 👍
We need a video of it against a track hawk!!
