I would highly recommend pre filtering the veggie oil so you don't get build up. A lot of oils have contaminates from its production. A lot of times it creates really bad deposits, especially if it's been used.
Thank you for the suggestion!
I dont think i would have switched a used fuel filter around. You could wash trash into the pump. Should have put a new filter on it .
Yep Whatever was on the iinside of the paper element is now flowing towards the injector pump.
I didn’t even think about that!
maybe put it under load and see if it got power with different fuel too
One of these days! Thanks for the comment!
I wish you didn't speed up the startup part I'm wanted to see how well it started with the drill method. Anyway awesome video definitely do that pressure washer stand that how i test mine makes it easier to move too. Great job on the video definitely do more running different fuels. Its awesome to see what these little engines will run on. I just got 2 of them and still playing with different ideas for them.
Not a prob. Chinese fuel filters do not even seal. Mine let crud go past into my engine. Sadsakosartz!.
Was looking at that one this morning, where did you acquire it? Thanks
I would have thought diesel fuel is cheaper than vegetable oil, in Australia that bottle of vegetable oil costs about $4 and it's not even one liter where diesel fuel is $1.97 per liter.
It is a bit expensive, but I wanted to perform a test.
The more economical method would be used vegetable oil (free). However for testing, new clean vegetable oil eliminates a lot of filtering issues.
@@gimpygardner3377 I’m not concerned about economical, I can throw used motor oil in the thing and it’ll work fine. The vegetable oil was for testing
I’d be worried about the long term affects that would have on the engine. Veggie oil has a higher viscosity than diesel, would probably lead to premature wearing of many parts. Not sure how the droplets coming out of your carb jets would compare to diesel as well but I’d imagine you’d experience a bunch of problems with long term use.
We shall see! Thanks for your comment!
1:02 and I'm better it will run.
