Great sales pitch for Johns Hopkins but little in the way of information on what nurses do as part of a surgical team.

Its bc they dont do much besides assist the surgeon. The surgeons the one really doing anything

@@Ahn-mu3db yea, who do you think monitors you after surgery? You think the doctor is there 24/7?

Female nurses do the monitoring. And when it comes to female nurses "monitoring" certain male patients. The "monitoring" usually involves lifting their gowns up to gawk and giggle and then going and getting other female nurses and female employees to take turns coming in and lifting their gowns up while certain male patients are still sedated. I've had nurses spill the beans. Certain male patients could have ankle or ear surgery and those female nurses will still find ways to expose them post surgery or PURPOSELY leave certain Male patients exposed and even bring in other female nurses who have NO BUSINESS with the patient to come look and giggle and gawk.

My wife started nursing studies at the age of 32. She graduates next year. When she started, apart from me, no one believed that she would be able to complete such a difficult course. I admit that I spent many nights studying with her and it wasn't easy, but it was completely doable.

@@justsafeplace Finish high school, apply for a Nursing ADN/BSN program, graduate, take NCLEX and viola! you're a licensed registered nurse in America.

First you need to go to college and get a degree in nursing, which can be either an associates degree (2 years) or bachelor's degree (4 years). A bachelor's degree is recommended. Once you get your degree, you take the NCLEX exam to get your nursing license and become a Registered Nurse (RN). Once you're an RN, you can apply to a surgical floor and become a surgical nurse.
